Today we're going to cover all the keybinds I use for Escape from Tarkov and Tarkov Arena! These are the best settings you can run in tarkov to get an advantage and get more kills!

Escape from Tarkov is a massive multiplayer online combat simulator with RPG elements developed by Russian Saint-Petersburg-based game developer, Battlestate Games. Set in the fictional Norvinsk region located on the frontier between Russia and Europe, the metropolis of Tarkov was plunged into anarchy thanks to the Contract Wars. What was once a bustling city, is now roamed by rivalling scavenger gangs and former private military forces and black ops units. found that putting vault on ctrl+space allows you to keep jump on press rather than release. makes the timing a bit less clunky. thanks for the vid brotha
we must push for cutting edge brother, ill try that out I just worry about my ctrl modifer macros
what is the key bind called for the compass idk what i did but cant find it and cant use my compass.
@@SpaceRanger187you can bind it to any number from 4 to 0 going from left to right above your QWERTY keys.
Totally agree with mouse leaning i switched last yeah, and made fighting in cq a game changer... everytime someone rebinds lean to mouse landmark crys a little

I like to put a bandage in slot 4 and then a Calok in slot 0, I then set 4 on press for slot 4 and 4 on release for slot 0. That way hitting 4 will fix both light bleeds and heavy bleeds. You could of course use whichever slots you want using this method. The only issue with this is that if either one runs out you have to set both of them again for it to work.

How do you control your players walk speed if your put your mouse scroll down to changing the magnification of your scope and switch between sites as up
Think hes having to hold another modifer button then scroll to change it. i feel like that would be weird to me after being so used to just scrolling to change my speed. i constantly use it so i wouldnt really want to hold another modifier key just to change walk speed 24/7 but idk. may work well once you get used to it. i havent tried this but neat to see how other people are using their binds.
I inverted my leans, E is left and Q is right. Feels weird at first but is amazing in the long run, trust 💯

Nah, bro. Inverted leans make moving and leaning much easier. Using mouse buttons for lean is lunacy.
@@intellectic9155 If you use mouse buttons for leaning, it will screw up your aim since you're pressing with your thumb.

For anyone who uses ads toggle, a fantastic keybind is hold breath on RMB on release, that way you automatically hold breath when you ADS

@@spetz101 Put ADS on Press and hold breath on release. You should still have a secondary keybind for hold breath tho, incase you hold an angle for long so you can stop it and engage it separately as well

Will having Reload on R and 'Release' and emergency Reload on R and 'Double click' also give the slight delay when pressing reload as having it on 'Press' and 'Double click' respectively?

Imagine putting shoulder transition as release for each lean, you would automatically switch shoulders when leaning left!

@@TickleMePinkGaming i thought about it too but you cant do it in game, have to use an external program. for whatever reason press type isn't available for shoulder swapping (it honestly should be available for every single keybind full stop)
So glad to find someone else who uses their mouse buttons for leaning left and right EXACTLY how i do as well (back is right front is left ALWAYS) my friends shit on me for it instead of using Q&E 🤣 it just makes sense

For some reason when I put free look on my alt key while I’m running (holding the W key) it will not snap back out of free look until I release the W key. Any recommendations on how to fix it ?
Made all the changes thanks for the hook up. Only thing I do differently is middle mouse is my free look and alt is my shoulder swap.

Useful setting for weapon swap: set on sling weapon on 2 press mode and alternative 3. Then set on back weapon on 2 but release mode and alternative key 3. On default if you have on sling gun in hand ad you press 2 it doesn't do anything, but with the settings you also have the back gun on 2 on release. It helps because it doesn't matter what button you press (2 or 3) it just swap your weapons which is what you want. Like q in hunt. Same for heal you can set a slot for 4 press and one for 4 release. On press you can use bandage or calok and a cheese on the release slot. You press 4 your bleed is stopped and healing with cheese starts automatically after. This way with only 4 and 5 you can use 4 slots for heals.
Wat if you're on your sidearm and want to select 2nd weapon?
I've tried these keybinds, their ineffective and cost you time particularly the healing ones and the one weapons were obsolete for me.
Change smooth lean right and ledt to ALT + Q/E. leave q and e for regular lean and hokd alt when you want to smooth out and save your mouse buttons for voip swap shoulder and discard
no way brotha, that is a less effective approach that makes your movement worse and your peaks worse. Im a very aggressive player and I can not afford to put 2 of my most valuable keybinds for looting and voip. That approach might work well for someone who scavs a lot

We have so many of the exact same binds. I was also an old school arma 2 dayz player. Surprised you didn't put vault on V, if you remember that from back then. I actually have jump and vault on V and hold breath on space ;) also C to crouch, Hold C to prone I think that was arma 2 too.
How do i bind something like "]" It just gives me Alt+9, Please help ;(

I use LMB+RMB to discard and it works well for me.
Also I use my 2 mouse buttons for modifiers.
Mouse 4 + Q,Z,E,C,F,CTRL,1,2,3
Mouse 3 + Q,Z,E,C,F,CTRL,1,2,3
Place everything on release. Doesn't hender movement and everything is easily accessible and common keys to press
Anyone else notice that using hotkeyed meds in Arena doesn't allow you to scroll through your injured limbs to choose which one to med?

@@katharinekatharsis i used to be a hold ads guy but then I switched to toggle and while uncomfortable at first it improved my aim significantly
Lol i must agree with these fine gentlemen. Movement/peeking is for the keyboard.
Toggle aim so that the only thing my right hand has to do is click the head. (or miss, die, throw the mouse)
Switching magnification is also great as mouse 3+mouse4 so hold side back mouse and hit front side mouse and you can still utilize side mouse buttons to lean but when push together it does different stuff holding mouse 3 plus other buttons open crazy keybinds lol
i use my mousewheel, pushing it to the left or right for leaning left or right, logitech g502 masterrace
I've had my G502 hero for over 3 years now, and I never knew about pushing the mousewheel to the sides wtf

i struggle with low fps on my computer, maybe its just my graphics card or something but if there was a way to fix any of the low fps you should make a video.

When i use mouse 3 or 4 to lean and then also ADS (continuous) i then can't fire my weapon... any fix for this?

No way I can get used to some of these after playing years with only a few keybind changes. Lol I might have to try some of them though. I also have a 65% keyboard. Was thinking about using my larger one when I play Tarkov but my 65 is real comfy.

Just a tip about check fire mode. you can check fire mode and while checking hit change fire mode during the animation and you can change fire mode in silence. pretty nifty. both have an animation anyway and check fire mode animation isnt long so check/immediately switch and never hear the click. dont always use it but works well in certain situations..
have you checked and confirmed this in a offline raid or with a friend or someone to make sure the silence of the change fire mode isnt just silent for you while checking fire mode and maybe not silent for other people? I know certain things are like that so was just wondering if you checked that. if so then thats great to know lol
@@jshuishvidz I haven’t. That’s a good point and something worth checking out! I have never played with anyone. Just always solo. I assumed it just doesn’t since I’m hitting it immediately while he’s inspecting it and it switches before he gets out of the animation but very good to point that out!
With that binds it‘s not possible to adjust walking speed with mouse wheel. i think it‘s cause they are already binded with scope stuff, am i right?

One little change i did was changing toggle tactical devices to "mouse wheel down" instead of "T" and changing scope magnification to "LControl+mouse wheel down". Great video tho, very helpful!

@@TickleMePinkGaming honestly love the keybinds. Still getting used to them, but feels pretty intuitive. Mouse button leans were weird at first, but not bad when getting used to it.

when i set my alt to freelook it seems to get stuck in freelook...

@@TickleMePinkGaming found the reason. Seems like having any binds utilizing alt causes alt to lock when you freelook with it. I wanted to keep blindfire since I do use it at times but I just rebinded it to a different key and now I can alt freelook!

The fluidiity of these binds feels much more natural. Just started getting into the game and was fumbling with my controls. Helped tremendously. TY! Only changes I made were foot pedals for lean left, right, and middle pedal for push to talk.
Bind switch weapon shoulder to ALT+W then you can change arms by tapping ALT when moving forward ;)
I can do the same with middle mouse without effecting my vision

it must have been getting interfered with from another bind - changed it to RCtrl and worked np - gonna think about what i wanna change it to - im left handed so this is doubly hard for me - luckily i have a wooting keyboard where its easy to remap keys - i've completely remapped the numpad and arrows to make this work with a normal mouse - i was using a left-handed naga before - we'll see how it goes... 4th wipe and still frigging around with keybinds!
When I bind freelook to LAlt, I dont get a "press type" selection. It just says unavailable???. Great vid btw@@TickleMePinkGaming

PSA: If you have Freelook on LAlt, you can't have the blindfire/sidestep on WSAD+LAlt or you will get stuck in the freelook when using it while walking :D
we unbind those as those are noob traps
I have crouch on alt hear me out its so fast for my thumb to move from space to alt plus i have crouch set to release so i can hold alt then mouse up or down for crouch hieght

How do you feel about foot pedals for your leans ?? So I can utilize my mouse buttons as other options like left control and left alt ?
I bought footpedals bc of landmark and it's night and day difference over Q&E or Mouse leans. I'd recommend getting pedals that aren't connected so you can be more comfortable and not have your legs close together like you're driving.
But... I have a razer naga with 12 buttons on the side...
I do as well for WoW. I use a gpro wireless for fps games

I kind of love how heavy it is (also it feels good in my giant mitt) and the 1-12 is the only panel that makes sense to my brain. The circle doesn't fit with my brainwaves or something

I recently redid my keybinds in an attempt to get the leans on my mouse, and actually removed basically every keybind that required a modifier, instead opting for double presses on functions thag arent critical in combat. That way i can free up my left Alt for tac devices, allowing my to blind people with a flashlight on command while still being able to move, lean, aim and fire. I got sick of Control and Alt being taken up by modifiers, so i just removed anh modifiers and took back those keys for more vital functions like crouch and tac device.
I have to admit I will be taking that Shift + mouse wheel idea though. That's a smart modifier.
