You cal also craft SOST 5.56 rounds on Workbench 2, craft is pretty cheap and you get enough for a short time. They are even better than 855 rounds in terms of penetration. But you need lvl20 to get Mechanic to lvl2 (so you can upgrade Workbench to lvl2).

Another place to find good ammo, when you see random magazines on tables like in usec camp on woods and other place attachments spawn. Pick up the mag and unload the ammo almost every time I do this it’s incredibly good ammo!!

you can buy some good ammo at the start without having 2-3LL traders because you can sometimes find that ammo on Fence. While his stocks are not guaranteed and somewhat limited, its amazing that you can buy 7.62 PS at early levels with the current armor and recoil changes. Get yourself an SKS or VPO-136 "Vepr-KM", get cheap 20 rounder mags, load with PS, slap a bastion and a red dot and you got yourself a boomstick at early levels that can drop chads.

You can craft ss190 craft ap 9mm and 45 craft at workbench 3 and bcp fmj at workbench 2 and for some reapson ap 366 is only craftable at workbbench 3 even though its unlocked in an early quest
Personally I just can’t make Piranha work unless I’m in very close range. 6.5 has always been very good to me. Aim center mass at any target between 25-40m and the spread goes straight to the face.
Same. Piranha is ass and I learned this trying to kill scavs with headshots on shoreline. I had to be within ten feet to get a consistent headshot. The spread is terrible
Thoughts on mixing alternating armor pen/flesh damage ammo for the best of both worlds? For example 5 rounds of AP at the top and then alternating RIP/AP for the rest of the mag. I feel like this greatly improves time to kill in most real senarios where you are spraying across the room and some of your bullets are hitting arms and legs. Even if all your bullets are on target on their chest plate you will still drill through thanks to the AP but you sorta get a chance to "crit" when a RIP bullet slips into their arm pit or through a zeroed side plate and a stray RIP round will blast off an arm.
just forgot to mention FMJ SX is locked behind Import quest, i just can’t find this fucking VPX 😢 JSP SX rounds are actually carrying me good though, pretty similar to 9mm AP 6.3 rounds

Oddly enough lighthouse quests including revision was easiest alone (as a bear). I solo'd the quests and didnt do too bad at all. But ended up having 20 survives in a row. But when i tell you the downfall was building up i mean it. I went in with two buddies so they could get m80 too and we all died probably 15 raids in a row. It was absolutely horrendous but they got it in the end. I think i still have 4000 rounds of m80 right now xD

You can tell me if im wrong but ive found stacks of bt this wipe in reserve, i literally only have level 2 traders and have bought 0 rounds of it and i actually used like 120 rounds last night to use the ammo in a reserve raid. I also have a shit ton of bs and another type of ammo i cant remember atm.
2 rounds i think are slept on rn are t-45 and .366 eko, t-45 is showing up on fence rn along witb t-46 which is a strong mosin round, but anyway t-45 completely outclasses m855 it has the same pen but more damage, and you can spend less on it if you buy it off fence. .366 eko also has 31 pen and has even more damage at 71? I think. And ive personally headshotted a pmc right through their helmet and one tapped them so there have been rumors that its bugged but idk it worked fine for me. Youll only get eko from a quest early on but you can load it into a gornastay and snipe people with it very effectively because of its high damage and high enough pen for thorax and headshots.
i got like 45 7.62 pp rounds from a 15k scav case, i sold them for 2200 a round and honestly i'd rather use a weapon with ps 762 that i bought for the mag and a half of PP
The best way to understand penetration stats is to look at the first number, 30 pen will go through level 3 with ease, 40 pen goes through 4, 50 goes through 5 etc. As far as the second number it's how close you are to penatrating the next tier. M855 is 31 and m856a1 is 38 so it will take less hits on level 4 to penetrate with 56a1 than m855. The new armor system makes every ammo pretty good because most rounds are 2 tap in the shoulder or armpit regardless of penetration
I've always been a big advocate of mixing ammo, if you save enough random finds, you can have some god-tier (but cheap) killers Before the new recoil I'd save up 9mm to pack 2-3 mags with 1 RIP, 1 AP, 1 Tracer (repeat, repeat) and run MP5-SD's But NOW with the new recoil, suddenly a "shitty" MP5K with the same triple loaded 30 rounder turns into: *DEATH LASER 9000* Mixing ammo is the new meta imo, flesh + AP mixes are gonna DOMINATE once gamers figure it out Love the videos! I have all my traders at level 3 and I find it absurd that none of them really sell anything that is going to consistently pen anything above level 3 armor. Only a month into wipe and you rarely see any PMC wearing anything below level 4 unless they are Timmies, completely broke, or are running a crappy kit for a quest. Good pen ammo found in raid is inconsistent, when you do find a pack or two you might have enough to stack your mags for one raids worth😅or just one mag and then shitty ammo in the rest. And then you end up dumping half your mag of good ammo killing scavs in the early raid BSG need to rework this imo, traders max out at level 4. Grinding to get them to level 3 only for them to sell you rounds that still aren’t confidently penning the most used armor level in the game (4) is underwhelming. Level 3 traders should sell ammo that at least has a chance to pen level 4. And level 4 traders should be rewarded with ammo that has a chance to pen the really kitted guys like level 5.
@@TickleMePinkGaming just saying it’s not helpful to a new player. Maybe it would be better to tell people that most trader level 1 ammo is terrible. Don’t make a video specifically telling people the best ammo “from level 1 traders” and then recommend farming ammo from scavs and pmcs. The ammo you recommend is solid mid tier ammo, just not available at level 1 traders.
Top loading mags is really playing with fire I feel because when I get in panic fights it’s not uncommon at all to start shooting before I’m on the target
@@xiphosmaniac trigger discipline doesn’t always apply especially in the heat of moments. You lose track of which mags you’ve reloaded, which ones have which ammo etc.
@@VGDomination we all have our shooting habits. some people top load 5 bullets because theyre accurate point shooters. i top load something between 10-15 rounds because im the type of person to hold the trigger in bursts and let my gun walk to the target. After a good burst should be time for me to reload. Youll get the hang of your own habits and play around them.
so yea 5.56 sost is a craft you can do thats not expensive all that is better than m855 ive had alot of luck with it drops players noticeably faster feel good makes you feel like you hitting them with a bullet instead of a marshmellow

It's purely a marketing thing but I think you should stop starting all your videos by presenting yourself as "our least favourite content creator". We know it's ironic of course, but repetition does have a subconscious effect on the brain and it's really not a good thing to do for personal branding. Same thing when you tell people to dislike the video and insult you, it's just not a good "branding" strategy in my opinion. It's just my opinion though, I'd be curious to have some advice from an expert in the sector. Otherwise, I think redirecting people to your Twitch for the commands and stuff is a smart thing to do. Your "no bullshit" approach in general is also a pretty good thing, especially as the Tarkov scene is partially bloated with very long videos that do not provide a lot of information.

It's purely a marketing thing but I think you should stop starting all your videos by presenting yourself as "our least favourite content creator".
We know it's ironic of course, but repetition does have a subconscious effect on the brain and it's really not a good thing to do for personal branding. Same thing when you tell people to dislike the video and insult you, it's just not a good "branding" strategy in my opinion. It's just my opinion though, I'd be curious to have some advice from an expert in the sector.
Otherwise, I think redirecting people to your Twitch for the commands and stuff is a smart thing to do.
Your "no bullshit" approach in general is also a pretty good thing, especially as the Tarkov scene is partially bloated with very long videos that do not provide a lot of information.
