I love the .366 AP-M , in the VPO carbine. The workbench craft is easy and economical and **nobody** takes it off you when you die, so you get it back in insurance nearly every time. Nobody even takes your suppressor because it's not worth anything only goes on guns nobody has love for. I wish there were more options for muzzle breaks, but with decent modding the thing becomes a pretty fierce DMR style gun with ammo that can punch through all the common armors and still does 90 damage at the same time. It's just chef's kiss.
@@Chevalier_knight Level 4 is the baseline that most people run with, and no scavs wear anything higher either. I wouldn't pick it for going to Labs or for purely PvP, but as an everyday economical round it's great.
One note about TCW SP (that is less relevant now because of the massive plate hit boxes) is that it can OHKO the thorax. Last wipe I found that TCW killed quicker a lot of times because of the chance for an armpit or around the plate shot (since most armour is only class 2). Also, one note about the Gendarmerie quests: With whatever they did to scavs this wipe, they're actually super fast and completable in 1-2 raids. Just bring an non-suppressed weapon and watch as the scavs just flood your position, pistols and SMG I finished in one raid, the last I finished in 2 just because streets has sooooo many scavs now
Interchange and Streets have endless horde of scavs. At first I sprayed them and quickly run out of bullets and resort to their weapon. Now I use semi auto and it's quite good target practice imo.
I can't trust anyone who plays tarkov with such perfect posture. If you're not hunched over like a gremlin, how can I trust you to be a certified gamer?
I ran the RD704 on Labs today and it feels so good this wipe. I was using BP and PP, as I had killed Parmisan a few times and had a ton of BP waiting to be used. 13+ kill games each raid. Hated 7.62 weapons last wipe but damn. RD is solid af

Super early, I'd recommend getting boxes of PP, BT and BP for 5.45 on Reserve, and throwing them into an AKS-74u or something. By the time you get to Rank 2 Jaeger, you can get .366 EKO which is great, but yeah you should just go to the Flea Market once you're level 15, and use whatever you can afford with at least 30 pen.
I wanna add that the Ultra shit ammo (US) on the 7.62x39 is actually really good. with 29pen it's basically the same as t45 but this US has the benefit of applying a negative 30 recoil and +5% accuracy buff. this is actually insane as we have actually been using it alot in the 700rpm rpd and it just shreds through everything. very easy to control and very accurate even when just standing and firing the moment you mount it with or without the bipod it then becomes a laser beam. the bullets are about only half as fast as regular 7.62x39 rounds but ultimately it doesnt matter when you can 0 out tagillas level 6 plates in 2seconds while point firing and walking towards him because the gun is so easy to control nothing is scary anymore XD. also use the ammo presets to mix some of the t45 tracer rounds in just so when im perched up on a rock or window and just laser beaming people from far away i can make sure that the bullets are hitting which since they usually are i think im just gonna end up putting them in the bottom of my mad to let me know when im running dry. Basically i feel as tho while US ammo is widely considered ultra shit and rightly so, the 7.62 variant is actually so good with those bonuses that i feel it belongs up there with the other calibers mentioned. while more armor pen is usually whats important this is also assuming that all your shots land, when using a weapon having even 1 out of 5 bullets miss would be far worse than landing all 5 but with only a 6pen less difference. (these rounds also have a low misfire and failure to feed chance)
The end cards block half the screen at the end, obscuring the new info. You probably want an outro page for those instead of just throwing them up over infographics.
Honestly I would find this much more useful by ammo type, rather than by trader level. For example, take a specific caliber or ammo, and talk through the progression of whats best as you progress and create timestamps/bookmarks/sections within the video.
Then there is me with items case full of ammo boxes full of every damn round more than i can ever use, and as for guns i got 4 thicc weapons cases and 5 weapon cases full of guns. The game is ridiculously easy now, gear isnt rare or hard to get at all, lvl 6 and 5 plates are everywhere especially in ref key rooms.
For me the only gun that makes sense to use is p90 with L191 or R37.F leg meta if the other round is too expensive on flee. Not wasting my money on SS190! Love the 50 round mags!
In no mean I am dissing you. But I think all the quests in this game are well made and pretty doable. As long as you are a consistent player who is actually good. As someone who have over 3000 hours, all the quest has never bothered me. Everyone is different of course.

I use to think this for a longtime. But one day soloed the goons with starter pistol with m882. Been using hp 5.56x45 has like 7 pen. Wasn't going to But zombies pushed me and it's like little over 60k roubles for 12k rounds. Each bullet does like 70hp dmg and with recoil feeling more manageable for tons of guns on top of these ammos typically lower recoil and increase accuracy making it easier to tap heads. Always remember legs don't have armor 😁👍
As a new player I gotta say i cringe now rlthat I remember that I discarded decent ammo for bulbs and wires simply because I dont know which are actually worth something compared to the regular 100 ruble stuff.
pbp is not 39 pen. while it does say that it has horrible bcof it loses 3 pen as soon as at leaves the barrel and 3 more at 20m. so at 20m it is only 33pen
This is certainly useful but as me and my friend were late to the wipe due to IRL schedule we just decided to stick to Full flesh and ratting since we can't compete with Uber sweats 😅
Do you think they'll add REF to PVE? I've found a few GP coins in raid but have literally no way to spend them, and it sucks being locked out of a trader.
Everyone complaining about arena making it too easy this wipe but if you aren't a 24/7 streamer they just wanna fuck you with these ammo choices, 35 pen used to be at level one and the streamers still got their clips of running through timmys with level 6 armor on but new players got ammo that was actually a threat to average players
Arena is overpowering EFT, both in money, XP and gear. now you can skip essentially the entire game of EFT and just max out reff- use meta ammo guns and armor with him. Players into the 60s in my squad that dont even have early quests done because of all the XP from arenas.

At 9:42 I have no idea what these bullets are for, gunwise. Maybe prefixing '[5.56x39]' or something in front of them.
Quest dont need to be easier, but it needs to be reworked. Killing things in certain locations is annoying.......... It promotes the rat playstyle that most hate. Also, their game dies after the first month of the wipe. Most are not going for those goofy a$$ annoying quest to unlock bullets Again, it is not made easier, just made more fun and better mission ideas. Like the marathon quests

Eh I’m finding a bunch of good ammo in raid. But I do think they went a little overboard on restricting the ammo on traders considering how strong the armor is.
I just use my 7.62x39 AK with HP (hollow point) ammo from trader from start of wipe to end of wipe. It's just the best and will always be the best and always available from fence.
Imagine reverting the really good plate hit of change, and making armour even more OP. To then remove all good ammo, and make all the good stuff level 4. Typical BSG
They messed this up for anyone who plays PVE since they don’t get ref at all which I don’t know why because they still have GP coins which are useless and they can’t get the keys to all those now locked doors
@@michaelsweeten6009 there is no getting better. its just audio. there is no more movement. someone hears you, they sit and wait, and you walk by their screen. its the only thing you can do. just find a good hiding spot/angle and thats it. arena is proof of it. we all play like that now. the audio if it was actually good, should be an immersive part of the game, but it shouldnt be the entire strategy and 100% of the gameplay. because it absolutely is.

It only pens lvl 4 thats pretty bad
Bullet is so slow with a ton of drop, Feels like I'm lobbing meatballs whenever I use it at dmr range.

i have 1100 rounds of 5.45 BP, BT, and PP and a couple hundred of BS. All that just from scav runs on reserve. Its insane lol

T46 and an AVT is my favorite. Nobody keeps it and I drop fully geared pmcs.

Right now I found that the best way to play is to run the AK 5.45x39 platform, because everyone is crafting PP, and it's so cheap (235 rub/ bullet)

Grumpy key ref lvl2 on interchange so many lvl 5 6 plates, good ammo I also found a spear and black mdr on two different occasions

The scars are better they have no recoil and are cheaper the sa-58/mdr
