Introducing: Smoke grenade. For annoying quests that have you stand in the open, this thing actually work quite well keeping you alive long enough to plant it. You can pop it and plant, or even better, have a friend pop it for you and keep the cover going. Especially in high traffic area, no one is going to waste bullet and risk themselves to blindly fire into the smoke for a kill and nothing else, cause you'd be going in almost naked most of the time for those quests anyway.
@ItsRayful I would never be stupid enough to throw a smoke grenade on my location just to give my location up if ur dead either way why announce yourself
@@ItsRayful Throw several. When I run Interchange I bring smokes and will throw them at the entrances to stores. Even if I have no intentions of going there, it throws people off wildly. Use them right and they can be a great tool. Better than flashbangs at least lol.
"Oh yeah there's totally a guy not here where this puffing neon green smoke is at, you should totally not spray into the exact spot we all totally don't know a person is standing at"
I'm sorry, are you talking about the genuinely effectless smoke gernades of tarkov? Literally not providing any cover? no one uses smoke grenades cuz it doesn't hide anything in the center of it..
I probably found about 10 flash drives in the first 2 weeks of this wipe. Just scav Streets and hit as many filing cabinets as you can. You'll find TONS of the fuckers
Survivalist Path - Tough Guy has a gimmick. If you kill all 3 and heal after you fail, but if you kill all 3 and then just die it still counts. I did a pistol run killed 3 and just put a gernade at my feet to speed the process up
I lowkey think it is the intended way, it is a sign of mercy from Nikita. The devs knew that playing a FULL raid without healing is too much, so they added an opportunity to end the raid right there with fraggin' yourself, running through minefield or jumping off a cliff. And if PvP is unavoidable, you can just stand AFK and go grab a beer from the fridge. When you come back, just get your reward
The Goons on Shoreline are pretty easy if you spawn on the east side, but you better be quick about killing them. I approach from the north side of weather and toss a test flash from just below the crest of the hill. If they're up there I immediately beat feet back down and wait for Knight and Pipe rush me. Bird is the tough one to deal with on this map because I have never been able to force him off the damn hill. I always end up having to rush him and hope I don't get lasered the moment my head crests the top of the hill. It's also the point in the fight that other players will start showing up. NEVER APPROACH WEATHER FROM THE NORTHWEST OR EAST. Out of dozens of raids, I can count on one finger the number of times Birdeye didn't immediately 'head, eyes' me from 200+ meters away when approaching from the east side. Funnily enough, that was the first time I managed to kill all three in a single raid. Birdeye missed the headshots and blacked my an arm and stomach while Pipe and Knight chased me all the way to spawn throwing grenades at me the whole time. I finally got enough distance to duck behind behind a hill near the guard tower and just waited. They came around the corner and down they went easy peasy like. I stopped my bleeds and healed up a bit before going back to the station. Luckily, Birdie was distracted by a PMC that had ran up the west side of weather. I just walked up the east side and popped Bird in the back of the head, then killed the PMC. I was barely alive at this point, so I grabbed what I could and ran off to find a spot to heal up for the next 15 minutes.
Not gonna lie, TS parts 1 and 2 were quite fun for me. They are in the perfect spot for being enjoyable without falling into repetitiveness, yeah, you have to kill scavs and voilá, done, but if you roleplay it a bit, they can be quite satisfying. You can make both of them simultaneously, so that's another plus.
I find role-playing and really trying to immerse myself with some homemade stories does wonders for getting past quests. Not excusing the shitty design, but hey pseudo-enjoyment is still enjoyment
I find the goons incredible easier to kill at night shoreline. Their decreased vision lets you run into the main building, and if you chuck a grenade, they’ll all run at you one by one through the only door. Hold a good angle, hit the headshots as they’re running inside before they have time to pull up their gun again, all 3 down just like that, nothing more to it. Happy hunting.
Day time goons are about as easy. Sit on the below the ridge that’s above the lendlease part 1 item and they tend to path really long while running right in front of you.
I had to do Shooter 2 years ago and needed 2 more leg shots and as I shot the scavs legs lined up perfectly and I collated them. Man that felt good to do.
Acquaintance ranges from thug it out to I'd Rather Do Homework, this wipe with the change I ended up turning in my last pack of noodles to unlock level *20*
If you’re doing stray dogs, go to shoreline nighttime. They are so free. Birdeye will always sit at the top of the weather station ball, even if he is shot at from distance he will just move down a bit, so you can kill him first, and Knight and Big Pipe are blind af and if you make it into the building, they are free XP.
Did the Tough guy quest a while back when I got all my 3 kills then a random dude shot me and blacken my arm and gave me a heavy bleed. Had to run across the map like a madman hoping I didn't die from bleed. Fun time indeed
The early bolt quests with jaeger are all swagclassic quests though. Like they are hard but im happy that other players have to do them too on a fresh wipe. On top of that it rewards and teaches a play style that keeps you alive whereas most quests early on get you killed via moving around the map too much.

Factory office area is the worst quest in the game for me. Spend 5 min to matchmake into a 2 min raid with a 90% of either dying before reaching office or killing the lobby before you reach office. Should just be entire map.
I actually love the tarkov shooter quest line but it does feel bad queuing into the 20th game with a bolt action doing the same thing. If they made each one more unique and then gave you 2 each time you complet one would in my opinion make it way better and more fissible even if you hate bolt actions
Jager is easily my favorite trader, I do all the tarkov shooter and survivalist path quests in a row first thing on any new character. probably helps that I really like woods and bolt actions.
now, not defending the quest design by anyways.. but saying that, at least with shooterborn being unlocked pretty early now, you can do it along tarkov shooter so theres more ofna dual purpose for running a bolt-y
How I do Wunded Beast (Kill scavs while in Pain): Just search scavs and hope you kill one the second you get hit cause apparently you get the Pain effect while shot but it doesnt actually show. Also Leveling up Vitality fucking sucks. I had Vitality at halfway past 1 when I got the quest. Took me 4 weeks to get it to 5 because the game straight up requires you to get hurt to level it up, but losing all your head health from a single one tap from a random bush barely gives any points so the only solution is to get hurt even more. Skill leveling is extremely slow for no reason and havung it decrese per raid the more you level only makes it worse. At this point they should make it so that a good chunk of your skills carry over to the next wipe, fuck it, have it tied to your Memory skill if you want BUT SOMETHING, PLEASE.
Of course Wounded Beast happens naturally, that’s the what I’ve been doing for 4 wipes. That and Cold Blooded you complete by just playing the game and engaging with scavs and PvP. It’s free xp.
Not for me though. I don't fight with tremor - if I get moderately hurt, I immediately pull back. I don't engage or peek my opponent until I have all negative effects removed, including fractures. If I'm not getting pushed, that is. I got all the meds hotkeyed and use them automitcally The way I used to do this quest (playing solo) is drinking condensed milk, getting myself to 0 hydration and then going into a factory raid. After ~20 seconds you get pain effect and tremor, which s the perfect timing to headshot someone on cars spawn. Now, if you built the gym, you can just fail QTE and get fractured arm. Fractures don't heal in hideout, that's convinient for the quest. I am a solo player and I don't have anyone to shoot me in my arms, so that's how I do it
Hey man. For Pest Control you just gotta go into these buildings and shoot around. Scavs will follow the sound. Thats how I got like 3-4 per raid at least
As a person to state I hated Jager because his equipment holds no value to me. Leveling a trader has to have a value to the player and unless its late stage craft, hes utterly useless to most players. I completed his "Tarkov shooter" tasks using the TKM bolt rifle with FMJ because I'm a masochist, but I completed each in a single raid anyways multipul wipes. I even got to fight 3 pricks with mosins guarding office lol I somehow won a 3 v 1 with a bolt rifle so that was fun for the "Less then 35" lol that was spooky as fuck though. Generally they need to change all pistol kill quests to "Pistol caliber" as far as quests go cause after a specific point if you dont have good ammo pistols are a sudgestion, and you need to melt them to near death to do pistol kills after week 1 and 1/2
Doing a conga line of the same map is why I'm starting to hate Streets...like why the actual hell does every Streets quest just unlock another Streets quest?
anything that forces you to use a bolt action in PVP is torture, you either sit in some obscure corner waiting for someone to come(good luck with that considering how many ESP cheaters are out there), or just waste a fortune and halve your kd trying to do the stupid shit. Like Levi said, bolt action has no place in a game like this.
I did the controller with flashbangs this wipe ok I was going for killa and 2 dudes were just lost so I cashed in on those kills and got the quest done also stray dogs is fun doesnt matter where they are on customs but the rest of the maps are just bad because of the bushes
I'm going to add to this list sense we have new missions because I'm pissed about it. 'Nothing Fishy About This'. Overall nothing is wrong with the quest itself. Go to the SUV, slam your face into it and extract, boring but simple. I'm just pissed I spent 3 raids looking over the roads to find this damn SUV in the picture (because I want to try and complete it myself), only to give up, look it up and find out it is half submerged in the fking swamp. There is no indication in the quest itself of it being there. You either have to look it up yourself, or fking stumble across it. Man am I pissed. A picture showing the dirt road above it with car tracks veering off to the side would have been a better indicator than showing the car parked on the damn road.
90% of the quests suck… lvl46 is my record after 5 years 😂 that was when labs came out fresh tho and I got ez 15-20k exp… 66% surv rate 7kd is 2/3 the reason I lvl up 💀 slowly and painfully
tarkov shooter and shooterborn both last forever and give a ton of experience by the time you've finished them you're probably base like trader 3's and you've just skipped the window where you could have used goofy early game weapons
I was playing pve and I spawned in on woods in the wooded part near the bunker on the vehicle extract side and I was being shot at and killed by knight as I was spawning so stupid
Ain’t no way you said tarkov shooter part 3 is better than part 4. I can get part 4 done in 1 decent raid most wipes…it’s literally using a sniper as it’s meant to be used. Part 3? Is the exact opposite and I can spend a whole day in factory getting hit markers
And what spots on the map yield those results? FOUR headshots in one raid from 80+ m every wipe? Sorry bud, you either got extremely lucky or straight up lying. What's the secret? Also it encourages cancerous "muh sniper realism" gameplay, literally sitting in a single spot like a statue for 15-20 minutes, and then go sit in another or continue cosplaying a turret until the end of a raid. I don't know what kind of person you need to be to enjoy this, literally point-and-click experience. But idk, to each their own
@@casualponyfag2815 if you’re actually sniping and you’re not aiming for heads you’re doing it wrong for one lol. I usually get it done on customs or reserve. If you play customs it’s very easy from warehouse 4 to fortress or crack house to fortress, big Skeleton to fortress, dorms to skeleton, power tower to anyone in the courtyard, double doors to courtyard, big red to RUAF. Sure it’s reliant on people since it’s a pmc quest, but there’s plenty of hot spots where you can easily tag players. Reserve got me 3 last night when a trio was fighting glucose between the knight buildings and I picked them off from dome. Honestly red rebel and a decent spawn will usually net you a few people out in the open. I love sniping so any task that’s actually about sniping is fine by me….just don’t make me use it for what it’s not intended for. I swear I’m surprised they haven’t made a task line dedicated to smgs and using them how you wouldn’t use an smg. Like get 5 pmc kills with headshots at 150m, or kill scavs with a thorax shot on full auto at 100m
@@nickbilley8384 the only spot I find plausible is the dome on Reserve, this one is notorious. Everyone expects it to be occupied. I personally hesitate to surface on Reserve bacause I know there is likely an extremely skilled and dedicated young man sitting somewhere in the dome, ready to headshot me literally not even using his keyboard and probably holding a can of beer in his hand instead. Campers are one the reasons why people rush to the underground as soon as possible, beacause the surface area is a theatre of rat sniper warfare. And that is why I call this gameplay cancerous - low effort, cheesy way to score free kills and deny others entire areas of the map. It is hated by everyone, even campers themselves. Honestly, I don't hate it that much, whatever makes you happy, but I can't even imagine how many people have uninstalled the game because they got fed up with rats. But hey, at least it's not vanilla DayZ, which is dominated by this kind of gameplay. As fot customs spots - I've camped all the spots you mentioned except for power tower doing SBIH in previous wipes, and that was tedious. People navigate most of these areas always in motion, never stopping. Nobody in their right mind would stand on the metal staircase in dorms, or stand in the open in crackhouse area. At least in my experience. The only luck I've hade was the warehouse spot overlooking the fortress, but that is because people need to stand motionless to loot the crates on the second floor... honestly, it felt like cheating. So I don't know, looks like we are playing different games - I've never had any good opportunities on customs
wounded beast - "never gonna happen naturally". What? This quest is definition of "will eventually happen". It's funny becouse you next you mention tough guy quest, when you say "getting hit is very common". After you get hit you only thing to do is kill that scav. Easy quest, lol

Like Levi said, bolt action has no place in a game like this.
Lmao i am here 1 min after upload.
Close to when I had stopped playing this wipe and was doing shooter pt 4 I got a headshot at 79.9M, yeah this was a bad one for me this wipe.
I did the controller with flashbangs this wipe ok I was going for killa and 2 dudes were just lost so I cashed in on those kills and got the quest done
also stray dogs is fun doesnt matter where they are on customs but the rest of the maps are just bad because of the bushes
Yipee!
What about Lightkeeper quests tho 😢
All my homies hate lighthouse
Guys I think I he likes lighthouse

Wrong number pal
You forgot a quote.
I cannot get setup done. It’s so bad
90% of the quests suck… lvl46 is my record after 5 years 😂 that was when labs came out fresh tho and I got ez 15-20k exp… 66% surv rate 7kd is 2/3 the reason I lvl up 💀 slowly and painfully
tarkov shooter and shooterborn both last forever and give a ton of experience
by the time you've finished them you're probably base like trader 3's and you've just skipped the window where you could have used goofy early game weapons
U cant even do collueges pt 3 cuz sanitar has the stims u need. Its pretty obnoxious
Interchange is my least favorite map. I'd even say i hate it.
I was playing pve and I spawned in on woods in the wooded part near the bunker on the vehicle extract side and I was being shot at and killed by knight as I was spawning so stupid
5k+ hrs never went for kappa. Could care less bout doing annoying quests for 3 extra slots. Ill be in the resort pvping names TimmyPack
Pain
Jaeger has the worst quests period
So I don't know, looks like we are playing different games - I've never had any good opportunities on customs
no i like Lighthous mine Favo map hahaha so easy map
wounded beast - "never gonna happen naturally". What? This quest is definition of "will eventually happen". It's funny becouse you next you mention tough guy quest, when you say "getting hit is very common". After you get hit you only thing to do is kill that scav. Easy quest, lol
