What I personally love abou the MP-18 is how you can slap the el cheapo 4x scope on it (anything fancier than that is just flexing your wealth) and presto, you have the cheapest sniper in the game. Oh sure, it lacks a bit of accuracy over long range, but there is nothing more satifying then to one tap a chad with it from a distance. I love it. Put PS ammo in it to offset some of the inaccuracy of this gun (plus it also goes through most helmets) and you have a gun that kinda transcends meme status. It's also not a huge loss when you eventually drop it for something better.
I did SBiH with El cheapo a couple of wipes ago on lighthouse, domed two guys near the striker at the bridge of lighthouse and while looting I got shot from the hill, I find him and domed him too. One of my peak tarkov moments
Ugh i did not really like the MP18 this wipe. Its so inaccurate. I had to shoot at a scav like 3-4 times before i hit it. Crouched. From like 50-70meters. So yea kinda disappointing
@@avtomatkalash3888 crouching doesn't effect MOA so thats not relevant beyond weapon sway and if you missed because of sway thats on you. but yeah its a gamble at far enough range with 3.0 moa which is like 6x less accurate than an sv-98 with its 0.51 moa. I find it pretty consistent at 70-100 and perfectly accurate at 50 and less which isn't really "sniping" ranges
I am happy to report that I have used the PM pistol almost exclusively this entire wipe, you can craft the 9x18 PMM Pst from WB1 and the gunpowder for the craft can be made as well using ammo bought from traders so it was almost immediately up, the ammo has more pen and damage than 9x19 Pst and prapor sells the PB with a supr on it at 5 per reset, anyone under 50m is pretty easy to pop them in the face.

if you shoot with a loud gun inside the barracks, the scavs will come investigate it. makes the quest very easy. This trick also works for the one quest down in the reserves
The RPD is so damn fun this wipe, me and some friends, someone in our squad legitimately just runs the RPD every single raid and unironically uses it like an actual suppressing support tool and it's funny how much it actually terrifies people when suddenly thjere's just non stop bullets flying over their heads and no one wants to peek anymore and we can all just move into better positions. Plus some tracers flying giving us a good idea where to look. Or he can point man into a room and just start pre firing every single spot he walks around because fuck it he has 100 bullets why not, we have no idea if anyone is there he's just shooting anyways, and we killed a couple people that tbh probably thought we were cheating when they were making 0 noise and a man kicks in the door with an RPD and pre fires him. I thought it was gonna be a bit of a meme weapon but legitimately there's actually a use for squad tactics with an LMG in this game and I didn't even think that was gonna be a thing. It's great for us who know the game but aren't super ultra giga chad sprint around corners into instant head shots level but we still know what we're doing. I can't wait for them to inevitably add in the M249 or god forbid the M240. Or M60 just to start blasting Fortunate Son in VOIP.
Idk man I tried doing setup with 50bmg and had some success with it but when I switched to piranha I managed to get it done much much quicker Also, first time I used the 155 instead of 153 and I really enjoyed it :D
Super-performance slugs also work well if you want to go the sniper route. Depending on the engagement you aim for their knees or aim for their throat and make them sad.
Highlight of my wipe. Was on the Shoreline Scav island doing a task, and one of the Scavs dropped a standard RPD. On the way back across the ship, someone tried to snipe me from above the tunnel. I used the RPD as suppression fire to get off the ship and was literally just spraying it in that general direction. Extracted... I killed the guy with it. LOL.
pump shotguns are good if you like ammo variety, using a semi auto you gotta charge the handle to eject rounds but with a pump you just slam your ammo out and put in the round you want. very situational but its worked for me
Would disagree on PPSh. A, if not S-tier for me on the pure price-to-quality basis. A gun with a drum and good ammo (40% chance of meta kevlar/helmet pen), 71rnd burst, scav pick/flea-proof (as it never jams), insurance proof (as it is big and clunky)... And it SHREDS. When compared with MP9, you get a drum, better economically reasonable ammo (5 pen more when compared to PST, and AP 6.3 costs so much that 9a-91 on SP5s is more reasonable at that point) and all that only at a cost of lack of sight options... Which is barely important because PPSh's ironsight is the best in the entire game IMO. Yes, your chance of killing meta geared player then surviving the raid is about 15 to 30%. But if your real expenses are about 20k per raid in worst case scenario (ammo, insurance of PPSh and the cheapest four slot rig you can find, as everything else would be picked from a dead body of your enemy, plus drum occasionally not returning thanks to some player scav), if you lost 70k then carried 500k+ in gear only, again, in worst case scenario, the efficiency rate is insane. And you can actually do more, as not every player encounter is meta encounter, but every player killed lets you use his weapon saving your gun in bush for guaranteed insurance:-) P.S. Not even talking about LVNDMARK's secret KS12/PPSh combo. That's just unfair.

Most people are also still wearing armor without neck protection so even shots there will kill if you spray and pray. I've had more success with that cheap ass gun then even some meta builds.
The flare pistol is able to shoot the dsf flare (poison flare) able to get any boss in the game to follow u around anywhere on the map , easily one of , if not the most rare item in the game I found one last wipe, just learn more
OP SKS is truly OP this wipe. Putting it to B tier is a big mistake, it belongs to S tier. People don't understand why SKS got nerfed for a moment in the rolled back patch because they never played with the SKS in the best stock and SRVV flashhinder. It's a laserbeam that shoots pretty acessible 7.62x39 PP or even BP with a 4x, it's CRAZY good. It literally outclasses SR25 and other semi auto guns as no other guns can laserbeam that hard.
VPO is really nice for Tarkov Shooter part 3, but otherwise I wouldn't put it that high. It's pretty bad at long distance, which is what SRs are used for
32:10 It's the best before unlocking flea imo. The best ammo Fence sells for .366 is TKM FMJ (23 pen), and for 7.62x54R is the T-46M GZH (41 pen). The difference is massive vs anyone wearing armor.
My first ever player kill in Tarkov was with a TOZ. A PMC who I think was level 42 and had a great kit mag dumped at me, hit me a couple times but nothing fatal, and then on my second shot I hit him center of the face with a buckshot round lol. Dropped like a sack of bricks. That was a great introduction to Tarkov PVP😂
still new to the EFT, i like this guy i watch for tarkov videos Pestily and he does this hardcore mode and I love how he uses whatever weapons and ammo he can scrounge up. Love the survival and scarcity aspect of this game.
A tip dont just use whatever you can find. Use smgs from traders till you have flea. At flea you look at what guns yiu can buy for say 50k w 100 durability that need few mods like the aug, the mcx, the rfb, the mpx and stuff like it. You use whatever un like that which you can buy the best ammo for. Early it'll be pst gzh so smgs, then m855, 300blk bcp, tcw sp, bcp fmj a stuff like that. Do the quest revisions lighthouse asap and you get m80 for 4 dollars a pop and now you're on a more even playing field w ppl as it is the meta ammo. Don't run garbage weapons w shit durability and use the best ammo you can get from traders.
I would argue that the AK-101 is a fantastic gun. The muzzle velocity makes it an exceptional option for an automatic that can also be used to snipe well.

The SPEAR is so much fun to run, I have put the default sig scope on it, and the recoil in single shot mode is so miniscule I can pretty much use it as a DMR with zero recoil with 4x magnification. Shame the ammo is pretty hard to get, but boy is it fun

My man, hit the 'fire select' button when you have revolvers, and you'll fire them double action (ie. you don't have the bear with the manually pulling back the hammer).
I personally don't agree with the ak-12, it's definetly at least an "A" tier weapon. The extra fire rate really carries that gun, it's deadly as hell, even with PP ammo. The suppressor shouldn't be a prapor lvl 4 item though.
I used the p90 one time and it was awesome but like you said the mags…. After dealing with that I never bought another one sad because it’s such a cool gun and I got goldeneye nostalgia.
I have sleept on the SAG for many wipes, but this wipes with the new recoil just turn that SAG into a budget monster, slap a cheap Silencer on it, a cheap Sight, then you still have a god damn gun that is cost less than 100k and fire good 5.45 rounds with lazer accuracy. Basically a head clicking machine

I tried using the VPO on Factory for Tarkov Shooter and it sucked. Maybe I was only hitting people in the arm or something but it did so few damage. I could not get a single kill with it. Definitely prefer the Mosin.
My arguement till the end of time for people who genuinely think pistols are "overpowered" from the recoil changes look at SMG's firing the same things being some of the best ammo/guns to fire in tarkov.
yeah. honestly its just good to bring like 5 mags with p90 and just go brrrrrrt if you die, skill issue. if you dont, u have enough ammo for bunch of fights, then go back to packing them at some point, or go extract
31:32 You can buy 60 rounds of 7.62x54R BT per reset from Prapor at lvl 4, which has 55 pen and 78 damage. Very expensive at over 1k per round, but very worth running.
I actually got a 9mm revolver kill once, whipped it out quick draw after running into a PMC on Woods. Although it speaks more about how good pistols are in general in 14.0 than the gun itself (the guy's running naked with a scoped SVT, and I did put a .366 fmj round in him first before fanning the hammer with the revolver.)

they already did it to 7.62x39 aks. those now have around 300 horizontal recoil stock which is more than a lot of the .308 rifles

MP-153 kitted out with a monstrum sight, silencer and 8x mag with .50bmg is one of the most underrated combos. I sniped kids with it when doing setup
He sleeping on the 153 I did setup in like 5 raids u just spam click when u see movement in bushes and shoot 8 rounds in under a second on a dime

MP9 with gt makes you think you're a rebel fighter in star wars. With the new recoil it actually shoots like a laser blaster too

G28 is actually the cheapest long range accurate DMR nowadays 240K for a whole weapon plus 30k for a pistol grip and a fore grip that’s it.

still new to the EFT, i like this guy i watch for tarkov videos Pestily and he does this hardcore mode and I love how he uses whatever weapons and ammo he can scrounge up. Love the survival and scarcity aspect of this game.
A tip dont just use whatever you can find. Use smgs from traders till you have flea. At flea you look at what guns yiu can buy for say 50k w 100 durability that need few mods like the aug, the mcx, the rfb, the mpx and stuff like it. You use whatever un like that which you can buy the best ammo for. Early it'll be pst gzh so smgs, then m855, 300blk bcp, tcw sp, bcp fmj a stuff like that. Do the quest revisions lighthouse asap and you get m80 for 4 dollars a pop and now you're on a more even playing field w ppl as it is the meta ammo.
Don't run garbage weapons w shit durability and use the best ammo you can get from traders.
I would argue that the AK-101 is a fantastic gun. The muzzle velocity makes it an exceptional option for an automatic that can also be used to snipe well.

Flare gun is used for the special ammo which makes scavs/bosses friendly for a while after shooting it.

The SPEAR is so much fun to run, I have put the default sig scope on it, and the recoil in single shot mode is so miniscule I can pretty much use it as a DMR with zero recoil with 4x magnification. Shame the ammo is pretty hard to get, but boy is it fun
As a new player, it would be fantastic if you could add names of guns under the picture, so I can screenshot it and have it on my second screen while in game. Silly I know, but I don't remember even 10% of gun names and a lot of AKs are almost the same in looks... Great video though! Cheers!
My man, hit the 'fire select' button when you have revolvers, and you'll fire them double action (ie. you don't have the bear with the manually pulling back the hammer).
I personally don't agree with the ak-12, it's definetly at least an "A" tier weapon. The extra fire rate really carries that gun, it's deadly as hell, even with PP ammo. The suppressor shouldn't be a prapor lvl 4 item though.
I used the p90 one time and it was awesome but like you said the mags…. After dealing with that I never bought another one sad because it’s such a cool gun and I got goldeneye nostalgia.

I have sleept on the SAG for many wipes, but this wipes with the new recoil just turn that SAG into a budget monster, slap a cheap Silencer on it, a cheap Sight, then you still have a god damn gun that is cost less than 100k and fire good 5.45 rounds with lazer accuracy. Basically a head clicking machine

I tried using the VPO on Factory for Tarkov Shooter and it sucked. Maybe I was only hitting people in the arm or something but it did so few damage. I could not get a single kill with it. Definitely prefer the Mosin.

My arguement till the end of time for people who genuinely think pistols are "overpowered" from the recoil changes look at SMG's firing the same things being some of the best ammo/guns to fire in tarkov.

if you die, skill issue. if you dont, u have enough ammo for bunch of fights, then go back to packing them at some point, or go extract
Feels good having the sidearm I bought be put in S tier. The recoil in game is accurate, it is a blast to shoot.

31:32 You can buy 60 rounds of 7.62x54R BT per reset from Prapor at lvl 4, which has 55 pen and 78 damage. Very expensive at over 1k per round, but very worth running.

They should put some of the irl adapters that exist for the flare gun in the game. Make it a weak pocket single shot shotgun or pistol with adapters

I actually got a 9mm revolver kill once, whipped it out quick draw after running into a PMC on Woods. Although it speaks more about how good pistols are in general in 14.0 than the gun itself (the guy's running naked with a scoped SVT, and I did put a .366 fmj round in him first before fanning the hammer with the revolver.)
I did the 3 pistols kills quest with the 9mm revolver. I was on ground zero and went for headshots.
