- I have three brand new real life ghost stories to bring you tonight. 3 stories of the the supernatural to keep you up all night. In the first case, we'll be learning the dark history of a remote island before hearing about the paranormal encounters this one witness experienced. Next we take a trip to a trailer park, and a young witness who begins to visit things he shouldn't be visiting. Before finally wrapping up with a haunting that might be friendly, depending on who happens to be in the house.

Hey man just wanted to say I follow plenty of ‘scary story accounts’ they help me fall asleep, but 2 weeks ago I stumbled on yours and I have to say your way of storytelling along with editing style is by far my favorite and feels unique from the rest (and there are many), you got some genuine talent! Never stop making them please.
Thanks a lot! Really appreciate it

Anyone else really want to go camping on Rock Island now?
Lighthouse horror is the best horror
@@dylanmcwhirter9844 agreed!
Yes
Absolutely!
You may think I’m weird, but I go camping in state and national parks and listening to these stories while I lay in my tent.
Hi, love that first story about Rock Island. The first strange experience that I remember happened in 1974, when I was 6, almost 7. I lived in Somerset, SW England. My primary school had arranged a day trip to visit Longleat House, Wiltshire. My mum came along as an extra helper/chaperone to assist out teacher.
Longleat House is beautiful. Its an Elizabethan property, in large grounds. There is a safari park, so you can drive through and see all sorts of animals.
During the tour of the house, mum noticed I appeared to be watching something that she couldn't see. She asked me what I was looking at and I said, 'The pretty lady in the grey dress'. Mum couldn't see anyone, and no-one had been walking through where I was looking.
At the end of the tour, mum asked one of the tour guides about what I'd said. Evidently, some people have seen what they refer to as 'The Grey Lady'. It is thought to be a previous Lady Bath. Thankfully mum was, and still is, very accepting of strange things due to my nan 'seeing things' too. Therefore I was never made to feel 'different' or 'stupid'. That Lady I saw was as clear and real as everyone else in that room and I still remember her to this day, almost 50 years later. Hope you enjoyed.
Thanks for sharing! Would love to share your story in a future video if you're happy for me to do so 🙂

Oh more stories from you will be great. Good idea to share with us. I think in this day and age many more people are starting to believe in things they have not seen.
Plot twist: only a demon drinks cold instant coffee.
I didn't leave my apartment for probably 6 months one time. I forgot how to socialize. I started to have severe anxiety and lose track of time, days, what month it was. Staying up till 4 am, seeing things and debating with myself. The lighthouse can drive you mad but i still think back fondly of the solitude..
A lighthouse keeper is doing an important job. You were just lazy.
That's not nice now is it?@Drak976
@@Drak976 Actually i finished an entire album of music. What did you do? Work some menial job to make some corporate overlord rich? I'm hardly lazy. I own my own business and work outside. I have winter off.
@@Unit_With_Legs I think the emphasis in his comment is "were". I was a hard core shut in like you were as well and it was hell, I still kinda miss those days but I don't want to relive them again. Good to see you're your own boss.
@Drak976 I smell me a cuck who doesn't get enough attention from his parents.
Listening to this one today to get me through my work day❤
I’m a newbie to your channel but I’m loving the stories you have to tell. I’m a 50 something female in UK and have always had experiences as does my mum and it’s very apparent that so does my daughter. It’s never been frightening to me either, I just feel quite humbled to be able to see or feel what I have.
I first saw an apparition of an older gentleman when I was 18 and on my way home from my parents. I was riding my bike with my then boyfriend when we both saw the man in the phone box further up the road. We could see him clearly as there was a light aluminating him inside the phone box. Dressed in a grey suit, he had lots of white hair and a full white beard. Being late at night we crossed over the road in case he was drunk or something and he then just disappeared in front of our eyes. At that moment I remember just feeling so overwhelmed and new instantly that we had just witnessed a ghost. Move forward 33 years and me and my family weirdly bought a house on the same very road, although the phone box has long gone but the patch of grass it stood on is still there.
That was my only sighting but over the years have felt spirits touch me and heard them walking like the one who at the time I thought was my daughter. When about 4 she used to creep into my bedroom in a morning, although I always knew she was there, and then she would jump on me to supposedly wake me up. I always let her think she had surprised me but then one morning, as usual, I heard her come in the bedroom but I thought I would turn round quick and say “boo” in a playful way but when I did, she wasn’t there….the same girl pulled on my cardigan at the back whilst I was stood in the kitchen one night. I don’t know how I knew it was a little girl, I just did. It was also around the same time was when my daughter started to have a man talking to her and touching her head in a protective manner. It doesnt seem to matter where we’ve lived either, they are always with us. My daughter and even my husband have witnessed people going past doorways in our most recent home and my daughter has heard, who she thought was me, saying her name as she passed my bedroom door. I wasn’t home at the time!
Nothing we have ever experienced has ever been negative though so we don’t get scared by any means, like I said before, I feel humbled to be able to experience these things. Let’s face it, most ghosts were only living people once and they weren’t scary then so why should they be in spirit 😃. Keep up the great work and I shall go back to binging on yr videos.
Happy New Year to everyone 🎉
Thanks for sharing your story! And a happy new year to you too.
Happy new year my dear ❣️😊
Loved your story and especially the last paragraph!!!❤
Happy New Year to you too and your kind comment 😍👍@@user-tz8il9cb4o
Maybe your family has a gift for seeing them. I’m in the states and never saw any, but I’m sure if you came here, you’d see some. You got the gift. You’re very perceptive along with the gift of seeing them. Now, for the million dollar question, what the hell are these people doing making phone calls when they should be in heaven? That’s where I’d want to be!
@@nightowl5475 haha yeah I agree. I wondered if it was a residual spirit rather than real time. I guess all questions will b answered once we join them, honestly I don’t think we’re supposed to know til then 😊
I would've loved to have run a lighthouse.
Edit: Man I love your style of storytelling! Maybe you and MrBallen, or The Why Files, could do a collab. You channel is getting ready to hit big! I watched those two before they got big, but it only took a year or so for their channels to really take off. I believe yours will as well.
Thank you! Haha, I don't think the channel will grow quite that big but I'm content with making my own little strange videos as long as people are still enjoying them :)
Garag darnit.. I made a cold drink.. im sorry I'll go so people watching this don't get distracted by my hideous & unwanted beverage
. Good day mah lord
Just wait for it to warm up a bit and you can stay
I'm potawatomi. It's nice to hear my tribe's name every now and then. We have a rich history, if any history buffs are interested.
I most definitely am.
Trying to watch other chanmels like yours and i cant! They dont hold a candle to you! Please keep it up and give us more content
Thank you! New video just out and we've got a whole second channel now too so lots more to come
Agree
As I listened in an altered state I saw the reverse fire first. I was transfixed , had to listen twice . Perfect effect 😵💫.
love that you enjoyed that!
That reverse fire is perfect.
That was scary!! I got scared when I listened to it!!
It's super interesting to hear how other folks not from WI pronounce Potawatomi! I've always heard it "pot-ah-WAH-tuh-mee," but since it's a native word, I'm not sure if the way I've heard it is correct anyways. Great video!! I just found this channel and I've been watching through them in the morning getting ready for work, or relaxing at home/cleaning up. Thank you for making these!!
I love his channel too
The mind and emotions, crazy.
Your voice is so good for telling these stories because it is largely monotone, not a lot of variation in volume or emphasis. While this may not be a good quality for, say, a newsreader, it is an excellent quality for ghost story telling.
Thank you! I try to picture myself sat in a dark candle lit room with just a couple of people when I read, that's the kind of vibe I'm going for.
@@TheTapeLibrarywell shoot now I have to go in my room turn off the light and light a couple of candles. Hopefully if I have to go to the bathroom I do not trip over my dog!
Great stories, great storytelling .
@@TheTapeLibraryYou are succeeding at that.
This channel is addicting. (I'm picky with narration...yours is spot on👌)
Glad you enjoy it!
Love to see you covering a story from my home state of Wisconsin! I just discovered your channel about a week ago, and it is my new favorite. I have been plowing through these episodes! Keep up the good, entertaining, well researched work!
Plot twist: Turns out the guy was a hardcore Dark Souls fan and by Keeper of The Flame he meant the characters in the videogame haha
Find a wife in 25 days….lol 😂. Things were definitely different back then.
Yeah, I also found that incredibly odd. Especially after 8 years of isolation 😅
Images of some wild looking, wide eyed man who hasn’t had his hair or beard cut in three years lurching around in wet weather gear and trying to talk to unsuspecting women.
I could watch that campfire for ever! 🔥 That along with yr stories is the perfect combo. Thanks so much for these great videos! ✌🏻👻💙
You are very welcome.
I've only heard the Rock Island story one other place and it gives me chills! I can't go camping without my dogs, can't imagine not only camping by myself but hearing a bunch of noises in the woods and deciding to stay another day
Yes I was really wondering why that person decided to stay another night 😭
I’d have been packing up at dawn and waiting to get the next ferry out.
Loved Rock Island story!
Great tale for a campfire. . . . .
First of all, I'm a believer, but a skeptic at the same time. I had a paranormal experience, at least I think? I had an encounter with a doppleganger of my mom one night, who I thought was in the chair that at the time my mom would go to sleep in sometimes. I was heading up to bed at 2 or 3 in the morning and my mom was in the chair and seemed to be sleeping, it was dark and I could really just see vaguely that it was who I assumed to be my mom(who else would it be?). I didn't say anything but tried to walk by without making noise. About an hour later, I went back to get a snack and when I walked passed the chair, I was surprised to see she wasn't there and then I checked to see if she was in the bathroom around the corner or in the kitchen, but no one was there. The next morning, I asked my mom, "were you in your chair last night?" and explained how I saw her at one point and then she was gone when I went for my snack. She was puzzled and said "no, I don't think so". Everytime I think of this experience I wonder what I saw that night. It still creeps me out alot because this house is very old and may have some crazy unknown history or something and I have more of a sixth sense than anyone I know that I'm aware of. This house feels weird at 2 or 3 in the morning and or it might just be that it's late at night? Thought it would be fun to hear this story read out loud on a yt channel. I'll never forget this experience. Was it a doppleganger or something else?
Now That's scary! 😳
That dude he talked to on the island scares people off the island so he can get camping reservations and the island to himself.
Now that's thinking outside the box.
Pretty amazing how cocky and brave that guy from the second story was. Dang , he seemed so cocky and brave.
Yes, very cocky and brave
Quite cocky and brave
Clowns have always creeped me out.
I've had a couple precognition dreams,one about 911.
In my early teens we lived in a house, where the landlord would never enter.
In my room especially,I always felt watched, small things, like earrings, would disappear from where I left them, and turn up elsewhere,or not at all.
One night coming home late from work,I was following a car through my neighborhood, when suddenly,it just vanished.
It didn't turn off anywhere,it simply vanished.
Before that night,I thought my roommate, when she spoke of wormholes, and such,is nutters.
Now I'm not so sure.
Clowns are the worst
"I live in a pretty nice trailer park..." Nope, I don't believe you.
I saw one overlooking the ocean and also in Palm springs. Wouldn't turn that down.
Also- this is my neck of the woods- near the Potawatomi - I have respectfully visited a mass grave they have marked there and soon plan to visit what is marked as the sight of their Trail of Death which is pretty close to where I live.
I would have soiled my drawers multiple times on Rock Island, WI.
I'd have at least wet my pants
Years alone on an island, that's a good job for me. Really.
I think I could do it too
native Wisconsinite here, been to Rock Island many times. Description is a little confusing to me as the sites don't necessarily work like that, but whatever its a ghost story lol. All in all, an AMAZING place (and yes, there is a creepy lighthouse). Totally worth the trip.
It sounds beautiful.

wild boar are a little spooky to hear at night for sure
That's what occurred to me too. Wolves are generally afraid of humans but wild boar will mess you up.
I just found you and this has been quite enjoyable! Im watching as many as I can!
Love to hear it! Hope you are enjoying the other videos
I had that random feeling of intense fear thing happen to me too, only I was awake watching RUclips and suddenly I was curled up in a ball in the corner screaming. I didnt see or hear anything I just felt like there was something unfathomably evil coming and reacted on an instinctual level. I wonder about that night constantly, Nothing I've ever experienced before holds a candle to what I felt then, it was fear that transcended the fear of death.. What could of scared me that badly?
My guess is that it's the devil.
I live in the UK, I have a holiday home in the West Coast of Scotland. The A75 road from Gretna has a long history of hauntings, particularly a covered bus stop/ shelter on the estate. Very long history of sightings. Also Chingle Hall, Lancashire. Good feeling in the hall, but oh my! The barn feels horrible! X
Wonder what happened there...

Glad you appreciated the audio cut, not going to lie I had a similar feeling while editing it.
