All great lure choices! Everyone has their opinions on what works best for them. You have to take into consideration the area you live in and the water clarity and the structure of the bottom when selecting the right lure. I live way up north in Ontario. Have all the mentioned lures and used them all in different lakes in my areas, we have thousands up here all of which required different lure or bait presentations. I love the Rapala Taildancers in perch colours they work great!
Thank you for this video - great stuff! If you could make a video explaining the top 10 differences between fishing for bass and fishing for walleye (or muskie etc) it would be helpful. For example, do the fish stay at different depths, do they like smaller lures, do they prefer different times of day/weather, do you need different rigs...That would be of great help to me (and I think to others too)
You need to try a x-rap 12 cause in numerous times I outfished live bait. Also try luckycraft 128 pointer these two lures produce all the time from early spring to ice starting to form on the lake. You may not get large numbers but what you catch is larger and if in a fishing derby these lures made me some nice scratch.
Gents, I've sworn by the hotntot since came out. It'll hook any thing that's hungry. Don't over think cranks. Action...perfect. Hitting...hard. durability..superb. Screw rattle bangers n all the rest. Tried n true, h tots
I'm from central Alberta and this summer, at the Red Deer River at the end of June, early July, every cast with a drop shot fly rig I had about 4 or more 6+ pound walleye chase down my 12+ inch mountain whitefish, right by the shore. Now that's fun to watch. They act like wolves and shred the poor things to pieces. It's also fun to watch them inhale a 5 inch rapala like nothing. The largest one I caught was 11 pounds, 33 inches this year.
Daryk Johnson Im a southern Albertan playing the river lottery on the South Sask. I have success with pickeral rigs, but would prefer to use spoons or similar lures in the vid. Best we have landed this spring and summer was 10#'s and change. Lots between 2-6#'s
When the water is in the 40s deep diving husky jerks for trolling. Then deep diving bandits. Finally 800 Reef Runners. You can throw in some Perfect 10s and you can cover every water level. Everybody does what works them. Good luck.
all I use is jigs and spinners (beads, spinner blade, and a hook at the end for trolling. some call them 'Little Joes) waaaaay cheeper than buying cranks. just my 2 cents. but hey how ever you enjoy fishing and whatever makes you successful that's all that matters. have fun fishing with freinds and family!!
a few you should try that work amazing here in north dakota both lakes and the river! team esko by rapala salmo hornets walleye assassin turbo shads by bass assassin with a regular lead head jig/red hook pulse-r by b-fish-n tackle with their H2O precision jigs
Great Idea! Impressive how you are closing up on 50K views ... Proves folks will watch anything with the right name and thumbnail... Congratulations! #lyubakavideo
I agree with "Born to be Fishing" ...but its a good video to give ideas for new walleye lures to try. Find what colours and details are working best for the lake your fishing then choose your lure by that .... for example some of these lures have worked well for me, just not those colours...all in all great list.
then there is the walleye lure that I used in 1963 called a buck tail jig you take a round sinker and white tail fur or yarn and you put them on a hook
I hate to nit-pick here, but I don't consider jigs to be lures .... I consider them jigs. if jigs are in why not say #1 is a weighted hook with a minnow or worm on it?
Didn't mention ripshad, jointed shad rap, husky jerk or husky, thunder crank jr. Fat rap, or the floating rapala...And since you went with a fuzzy grub as a lure "i was thinking crankbaits only" You need to have the bucktail jig, road runner jig, whistler jig. Winter time you need to have jigging spoons and heddon jigging lures. And you have to have the crawler harness listed then too.
this video is a good idea but can be misleading. Walleyes don't follow the patterns of a lot of other fish, and can be in the deep waters, or in the weeds or in the mud or on the gravel.. every lake is a bit different so these lures might be best for the certain lake you fish.. but maybe not someone else lakes.. i have seen lakes that the eyes don't bite on anything but curly tales and seen some that only a 3 way stick bait works.. while live bait is always the go too lures of many older fisherman the newer soft plastics have really come into the scene in big ways.. best of luck my friends.. tight lines..
Mate, I have a hard time believing that you know that these lures and jigs actually work. The reason I think this way is because you don’t give any info on the lures and jigs. You place a name and a picture, in the future please try to add more info on these lures and jigs to support your claim.
Try a Road Runner tipped with a worm. Bottom bounce drift. We use them in Georgian Bay with great results. Check my channel for some great catches. Rod
Everyone’s opinion vary but I would have to disagree........... Some of them will work on big bodies of water. But as a whole, I disagree...... that is only my opinion..........there are so many better baits and rigs to use.........

Great walleye lures! Thanks.
Nice video, good choices on lures. I use the Rapala shad rap all the time. Great lure.
Good picks got a few others I use but you can dam sure beat I’ll keep that to myself!
flicker shads and smash shads work great too.
Husky Jerks, Floating Rapalas, Crank Baits, and Rattle Traps, in my opinion are the best for Walleye
I wish all videos would be as straight to the point. Thanks for not wasting our time with bs.
Perch shad rap is my #1 for trolling a flowage in ten ft of water.

You should take all those lures fishing and see which one actually catches the most Walleye.

Scatter rap with some weight (small sinker) to bring it down to the bottom is a destroyer of Walleye.
Why not use a scatter rap count down and lose the sinker?
Witch one ?

I think you should go buy a flicker shad #7 jointed fire tiger and catch twice the fish you do with all that Rapalla stuff

Flicker shad should be in the top ten
I like to stick of dynamite taped to a rock. That gets them every time.
Proof read before you post
@@kennyd2134 thank you mister spelling checker
no 8 Shad rap in 4-6 foot of water is deadly in shallower eutrophic lakes. and if the water vis is low use a chartreuse one.
that's awesome keep catching them ;)
