A perfect piece of wood and your treatment of it is perfect, as well! I love the color and finish, too. Great job, Will!

Thanks my friend! I wish when people give me wood they wouldn't cut it end grain on 🙄 this was SO cracked as you could see.
Hope you're doing well out there :)

I'm amazed that the mortice didn't come apart completely. You've got guts to keep putting it on the lathe. But the important thing is it looks great. You must believe in my old motto, "Better dead than look bad."

yeah it was almost past the point of no return, some might say it went way past that point haha
I've had scarier things on the lathe before and my face shield would have protected me a little bit so i wasn't too worried :D

I was very scared for you. That looked like it was going to fly apart! Great job keeping it together and getting it finished!

Interesting piece. In hindsight, I would have used a Tenon with all the already visible cracks, but hey, Wills back. Glad you are back doing videos again. Hope you and your family have been good and well.

I don't use tenons as I can't be bothered to remove them, but you're probably right 😁

@@willmakeseverything3829 I watch a couple other farming channels from Europe. Will you be sharing your farming activity on the same channel? Or do you have a different channel? I know lotta the other people won’t care about that but I am interested in it. Best of luck with your endeavors will be waiting for your next video.
