These comparisons are pointless at 1080p here on RUclips as the base resolution is 1800p upscaled with checkerboard rendering to 2160p. As far as this game is concerned anyways. The difference on draw distance and other benefits are smal to nothing in most titles as the biggest benefit of the Pro is resolution. At 1800p as the base resolution upscaled to 2160p and with HDR it's a much better looking game then any other version. It's just to bad you cant show it on RUclips even if you had captured it at the resolution it's running in. But if I'm not mistaken RUclips has added HDR support now. But you need a 4K HDR TV to see the difference. I'm not complaining as it's hard to impossible to show the difference on a large scale as it has been before. But I think it's important to make it clear to the less technical gamers out there that what they are seeing here on RUclips is not at all representative of how the differences actually are in real life. That said keep it up Candyland! :)

Dark souls 3 now runs a pretty stable 60 fps on a pro, which is something the standard would never be able to accomplish. You don't need to buy one if you already have a ps4 unless you really want one.
I have a ps4 hooked up to a 1080p tv (52"), right next to my ps4pro hooked up to a 4k tv (65"). My gf and I game together, and there is a stark difference between the two that just cant be shown on youtube. I dont know why people always say "I cant tell the difference between 1080k and 4k" as they watch the comparisons on a 1080p tv/monitor... Needless to say though, a regular ps4 on a 1080p will make most people happy enough, its still a great system.
It is truly hard to see the huge jump in the graphics when this video is not 4k and the youtube video compression makes it even worse. But, The PRO version looks way better then what is shown in this video. I'm extremely impressed with this game and hope it sells well because Square Enix worked real hard on this game and it shows.

People such as yourself keep forgetting this. Place a normal ps4 version running on a standard 1080p television with the pro vision running up-scaled on a 4k tv with HDR and you WILL see a difference. Why do people keep forgetting this???
ok for people saying they don't see the difference it's minimal that's why the only difference is how detailed things look. in the side by side comparisons you can tell the rocks and ground are heavily detailed whereas the regular ps4 you can see it. just not as much and as obvious as it is on the pro.

I compared both games side by side (same tvs in the household different rooms) youtube doesn't do any justice to these comparing. so far the load times are not much of a difference 4-5 seconds is what I clocked in at. Anti-aliasing is allot better. when you put FFXV into Resolution: High, oh you can really tell the difference. when you turn noct and camera angle at high speeds, when you are fighting demons and Imperial's also join the fight the frames don't drop as much. I put the Uncharted 4 special edition console vs the pro btw.
Aside the point that the Ps4 pro puts a bit more details on these comparisons, i hardly see how this is in anyway a big improvements. Sorry, i just can't see it..

All this talk of P's and K's is basically a way to sell TVs. Most people (even gamers) can't see that much of a difference but they hear "it's got more Ps and Ks" and think it must be better and top of the line, and oh my god if anyone knows I game on anything smaller I'll be a laughing stock and all this nonsense. Truth is, what makes the difference is FPS and frame pacing, which completely depends on the game coding itself. You want the best visual experience? Buy a 2,000 dollar computer with parts that came out last month. You MIGHT be king of the hill for a month at best. People have got to stop putting so much worth on the superficial looks of things and worry more about the mechanics and the coding. Worry more about if a game has game breaking glitches, or if the controls work well. Forget all this nonsense about Ps and Ks.

The PS4 Pro is a joke. Just an overclocked PS4 with no built in Ultra Blue Ray Drive. The Xbox Scorpio is the true 4k machine and will be a true next gen game console.
I have the Ps4 version and i prefer setting up my 4K tv to 1080p. Why 1080p? 4K resolution makes the game slightly out of focus(blurry) if not worse. What's the point of buying a Pro if the game looks like ps3ish graphics? Back to Battlefield 1 multiplayer while I wait for the next patch of ff15 coming this month. I waited 10 years for a poorly optimized game.
this game is really not a good comparison example, the differences are barely noticable. i doubt you will be examining your screen with a magnifying glass, just to be sure that you are playing on the PRO. HITMAN, Deus Ex and ROTR utilize the Pro much better, imo.

Ps4pro high mode uses checkboard 1800p, which is 1600x1800 pixels smartly upscaled(checkboarded) to 3200x1800p and then upscaled to 4k.

teamhebi13 after playing 1-2 hours on ps4 pro yeah it looks better. Its like bf4 ps4 vs xbox one. It looks better on ps4 but nothing special.
im gonna buy the ps4 pro because it shows more grass on the field..
The PS4 Pro is a joke.
Just an overclocked PS4 with no built in Ultra Blue Ray Drive.
The Xbox Scorpio is the true 4k machine and will be a true next gen game console.
I have the Ps4 version and i prefer setting up my 4K tv to 1080p. Why 1080p? 4K resolution makes the game slightly out of focus(blurry) if not worse. What's the point of buying a Pro if the game looks like ps3ish graphics?
Back to Battlefield 1 multiplayer while I wait for the next patch of ff15 coming this month. I waited 10 years for a poorly optimized game.

ps4 pro shouldve just added more antialiasing and kept the same resolution
this game is really not a good comparison example, the differences are barely noticable. i doubt you will be examining your screen with a magnifying glass, just to be sure that you are playing on the PRO.
HITMAN, Deus Ex and ROTR utilize the Pro much better, imo.
