I thought I had a problem with my camera, but the focus settings was in manual mode 😅. Thank mate.
I have a Nikon D3200 with an 18-135mm lens where the autofocus is working but not properly. It will either a) rapidly bounce between focussing too far and focussing too close or just right, making it impossible to take photos (this especially happens if there are multiple objects at different distances in frame;, and you can hear the operating sound coming from the lens whenever it does), or b) be just about to focus in on what I'm pointing at and then the focus will completely "reset" to being completely blurry and then stay there and if I try to autofocus again it will sort of incrementally inch closer to the right level of focus before going back to blurry.
I don't have a spare lens to find out for sure if the problem is with the body or the lens, so I'll have to go to a shop soon, but if you have some possible diagnoses to consider in the meantime, I'd appreciate it very much. The camera body and lens are both second-hand but I don't assume this would be a result from mere wear.
exactly!!!
@@bearsound1667 Exactly what?
Facing the exact same problem, the second one. It apparently focuses on distant objects better than the ones relatively close to it. But sometimes it works well.
Thanks bro. Helpful
My autofocus was jumping everywhere not working, turning off and on worked for me thanks!
Omgggg thank you 🥺😭💚❤️❤️❤️
You're a life saver ❤
Thank you bro
Thank you so much
I love the passion
I got a new telephoto lens (AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm) for my D3300. And it doesn't seem to recognize the autofocusing system. Basically in my camera screen doesn't allow me to modify the AF modes (AF-A.S,C.M). Can't even select or scroll over that option. So I only can use the lens manually. What do you think is the problem? PD: The lens doesn't come with a button switcher.
It was the autofocus mode in the camera software that got turned off on mine.
step one works for me immediately...thank buddy
Cool
ty!

Didn’t help at all dawg lol it’s the lenses for me that’s stuck. Not the zoom, the manual focus
