Here are the steps to perform omega reliability analysis in SPSS 29:
Enter your scale items as variables in the dataset. Make sure all items are scored in the same direction.
Click Analyze -- Scale - Reliability Analysis.
In the Reliability Analysis window, move your scale item variables into the Items box.
Under Statistics, check Omega hierarchical and Omega total. You can also select other options like Means and Variances if desired.
    Click OK.
The output will show the omega hierarchical and omega total values. Omega hierarchical is a model-based estimate that accounts for multidimensionality in the data. Omega total is a measure of the overall reliability of the scale.
Values range from 0 to 1, with higher values indicating better reliability. A commonly accepted rule of thumb is that values above 0.7 or 0.8 indicate good reliability.
    To improve reliability:
Increase the number of items, as more items generally increase reliability.
Remove problematic items that have low item-total correlations.
Ensure items measure the same underlying construct.
Use clear, concise items that all respondents will interpret similarly.
Reduce random measurement error by standardizing administration conditions.
So in summary, omega reliability is an advanced type of reliability analysis that is well-suited for multi-dimensional scales. Performing an omega analysis in SPSS provides important information about the reliability of your scale. Values below 0.7 indicate the scale could be improved.
