I am a PhD Research Scholar. I was in need of these SPSS analysis information. Thank you so much for your video sir. They are very informative and in detail. Your videos are really helpful.🌸
GREAT PRESENTATION AND IT SERVES PURPOSE..! THANKS VERY MUCH
Great explanation Sirji!
Nice Explanation👍Thank You Sir
Very good explanation. Thanks.
Such as really informative video thanks Dr Adil 🤗🌺💕
Thank you sir I was working on my thesis and this was very useful
thank you sir , a nice tutorial
very clear, thank you
very useful video sir, thank you.
Your blog is so informative
Thank you for sharing.
Sir your videos are really very informative. Please upload video regarding "how to calculate cutt off value for psychometric tool with subscales and with items scoring on likert points or ordinal point scoring".
Thanks a lot doctor
I would like to know whether it is only suitable for Likert-scale questionnaires, what about the other MCQ types?
Thank you doctor
Thanks pimpin!!! Got this damn project done!
That’s great
Thankyou
Pleasant way of explaining, Thanks Sir
That sounds great
Very informative video, br please add how to translate the table values in dissertation the way of writing in paper or result section thanks
Great work .Thanks Doc.
THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL PRESENTATION. Can you please show me how to compare like those constructs against lets say Age, sex etc.
thank you so much..sir, you definitely solved my problem.
Great to hear that.
Assalam o Alikum sir, thank you for such a informative vedio. sir if i have to check Hypothesies result validity than what i will do? same process to check scale?
Subscribed!
you just saved my life doctor. Respect!
Could you please do a video on how to do the composite reliability, please?
It's great that this video helped you. I will make more informative videos on relevant topics including for composite reliability.
Yes, please. Waiting for composite reliability. Since I didn't find any proper explanation on how to exactly do it. Thanks alot
@@berliniyaat I will try to make a video this weekend.
Hello sir, what if the choices of the questionnaire is yes or no? How can I test its reliability?
Nice way of explaining Sir.
That’s great.
Sir, thank you for your explanation.
Please, how can we justify the choice of Chronbach's alpha for the 5 likert scale compared to other methods?
With regards
Dear redouan
It’s a very simple process. In research paradigm if u want to justify your action just search some good indexed papers doing the same thing and refer that in your paper.
Dear Sir
Informative lecture and thank you for explaining the reliability measures. I am doing my PhD research and will need your help.
Dear Qureshi sb
I am always working to help and share whatever small knowledge I have.
Sir kindly explain how to enter the data of scale in spss pls
Great explaintion 🌷❤🙏
Tganks doctor،
Can you make a video for checking the validity of the same construct and how you conduct the overall validity and the validity for each construct,
I would be highly appreciated
Mainly we talk about the convergent validity and the discriminant validity. I will make a video soon on these topics. Happy researching.
Thanks for the information. how do l measure reliability of pre test post test and observation schedule
kindly see my other videos for the validity test. This video is only related to the reliability test.
Sir, can i ask you something? Currently i am final years student. I donno how to used validity and reliability test for my questionnaire. My questionnaires content 3 section. 2 section is closed ended question (yes/no) and another one is liker scale. How i want to apply realiability test and validity test for mix that questionnaires?
👍
hello sir good day. I appreciate your very informative videos but i have question about this one...Why are your data in nominal category even it is in likers ex. agree neutral and disagree they have one step ahead or below to its upper or lower level. Does it matter if we use ordinal category for that because it is in order? thank you sir in advance
Dear @perez, this dataset is just for demo purposes. In real life, you should enter the data based on the category type. It may have some impact on the final output. and many times like the gender, if u not enter the type as nominal, the t-test results will show error.
How do I test the reliability of pre test and post test data having three constructs?
kindly see the t-test and paired-sample t-test videos for your query.
Sir,
I have found that "Cronbach alpha" is used for a Likert scale questionnaire. But if a questionnaire is mixed with a Likert scale and binary scale, then how can I test the reliability of the questionnaire? Additionally, how can I test the validity of this mixed scale questionnaire? Thank you.
Dear Student, there are many methods to check the reliability of the questionnaire. First of all, we should try to develop a consistent questionnaire with similar response pattern questions. If that is not possible, then you can Kuder and Richardson Formula for Dicotonomous questions. Kindly read this for more clarity www.npmj.org/article.asp?issn=1117-1936;year=2015;volume=22;issue=4;spage=195;epage=201;aulast=Bolarinwa#ref7
You can not use Cronbachs alpha for dichotomous items. Cronbach alpha compares scale variance with item variance, and there is no meaningful item variance for dichotomous items. For dichotomous items you should use another one. Kuder-Richardson-Equation or formula.
Thank you sir for your valuable comment. The information you have provided will help me a lot.
Very informative sir sir agr possible ho ap urdu mein yeh sb topa pada sikhty hia plz sir really helpful
sir can u please explain how to perform test-retest reliability on a questionnaire
Will make a vide on that soon. Due to covid19 things are not moving as planned.
Sir can you please tell me which version of spss you're using?
SPSS 23 version
Thank you so much Sir for such a useful knowledge
Sir, we are waiting for your next video about the overall validity and the validity of each construct,
Sir, plzz also mention your email
Thanks
How do i check the reliability of the questionnaire and its construct if there is reverse scoring items?
you have to adjust the reverse coding. you have to reverse the entry in the SPSS file like if the response is 1 you have to enter it 5 and likewise. this is required for all the calculations. you can not proceed without adjusting the reverse coding.
Thank you for the explanation. Can i use cronbach alpha also for a questionnaire with different types of questions :likert-scale, binary scale and ordinal scale questions. i would like to know if i should use a different type of analysis. Thank you
you can do that.
@@adilzia Thanks for your reply. i have 12 items with 26 questions in my questionnaire (6 likert scale, 3 nominal and 3 ordinal items). Will you please suggest me to measure Cronbach Alpha for the entire scale as mentionned at the beginning of the video? Or choose some between them to check the reliability of my questionnaire?
Hye . I wanted to ask for make a reliabilty test it is need a data from respondent or it still can make a reliabilty test without data respondent for only testing reability the questionaire that create? Please notify my comment
Reliability is checked for the respondents after data collection. It can be for pilot test or final data.
You can check my latest video on reliability and validity analysis for further understanding.
@@adilzia Thank you
sir i am trying to perform reliability analysis of 40 items but in the output file it is showing N of items= 32. i cant understand why it is happening...... plzzz help
Dear Dhirender, it's correct as the N is the value of sample size and not the number of items of the questionnaire. I hope it solved your problem brother.
@@adilzia ok sir very well understood 🙏🏻 thank you very much
How can dlt item
Select the item in variable view and click delete.
What if I have taken only 3-3 items in each construct.
can u elaborate on ur question.
In my questionnaire I have taken 15 constructs and each construct has three items. 2 constructs have reverse items too which is showing negative cronbach's alpha. how to improve it
