amazing video -- I have not been able to find anyone to explain how the reservoir gets filled or sucked -- you showed it's between the little space of the radiator cap AND you showed that there's a STRAW that goes to the BOTTOM of the reservoir and sucks it back in -- I was so confused how it can suck it up from the top when there's air in between -- AND you explained that the extra nozzle is for excess -- AMAZING -- thank you so much

I disagree with need for double seal because the purpose of larger seal is ONLY to direct discharge water into the expansion tank. Expansion tank is OPEN to atmosphere, so there will be only slight pressure in the small rubber hose from radiator to OVERFLOW tank. You do need the single seal to overcome vacuum when radiator cools and pulls coolant from overflow tank back to radiator.

Sir another thing, we must be aware of pressure bar rating.
higher pressure bar rating can also lead to coolant loss.
the more pressure can hold by the radiator cap, more coolant will evaporate inside the system.

My question to you my friend, is that a symptom of a radiator cap? It’s a 09 Subaru legacy with the original radiator cap.

Thank you for the nice informative video! My car's engine keeps losing coolant, but I see no leak from the radiator, hoses, water pump or expansion tank whatsoever. I don't see any coolant stains on my parking spot either. I thought maybe it would be from the head gasket but I if it was the case then there would be oil mixing with coolant or vice versa, and no smoke coming from the exhaust, oil level check pipe or oil addition cap. What might be the problem?
