I believe it has been asked often but I couldn't find the answer in the comments under your videos. Are you living in Sydney because of work? :) How long is it since you left Japan (I assume you japanese haha).
@@BiancaSaphira I've been here for about 15 years, and it was originally about the curiosity😎 I just wanted an adventure in my life, and that's why I left Japan😉👍
Thankyou so much Chef!!!I really love d food you show us and I tried to cook some of your recipe, really gives me d courage to improve my cooking skill, coz I love Japanese food.....sooo amazing!!!☺️🙏
Actually I've cooked Chow Mein several times but next time, I'll try Chef's recipe of course! There are a few differences and I've never added shrimp, I bet it's really really good!
O.O! The cinematography is always great. I've shared your videos with a lot of my friends and family and they love your knowledge with cooking (and the figurines). This is definitely something I'm making this week!
Your cinematography is always incredible, it makes the food look even more delicious! Adding this straight to my to-try list, thank you for all the useful tips, they're much appreciated. :-)
I made this for our dinner last night and it was delicious. Thank you for the easy translation and breakdown of the recipe. My hubby is a meat and potatoes guy and he ate every bit of his meal last night.
Выглядит очень вкусно! Я готовлю такую лапшу, но никогда не смешивала креветки и курицу. Еще понравилась часть с зажаркой лапши. Буду пробовать, спасибо!
Hello sir! Thank you so much for your hard work for developing recipes and filming them! I've made oyakodon following your recipe many times and every time the result was amazingly delicious. I have one small question: when you say "sesame oil" in this recipe, is it different from what we call 'toasted sesame oil' here in the west? If it is, could I substitute your "sesame oil" for 'toasted sesame oil'? What would be the proportions? If it is not, is there something I should use instead, that has the same flavor profile? Again, thank you so much for your work!
Your channel has inspired me.. Cooking vegetables noodles & proteins separate. Helpful information. Thanks for sharing this recipe.. 😋 Salutations from California 🤗
Just cooked this …. Totally awesome flavours 😋😋👍👍 …. I did add a little extra to the carrots 😉… a little bit of broccoli, a couple of chopped baby corn, some green beans and a chopped water chestnut). It really was delicious… thank you 😊 🌸 A couple of weeks ago my friends took me to a Wagamamas when I visited their place … they said it had awesome Japanese food … but alas I was really disappointed … it was dry and very bland … I don’t know what version of “Japanese” it was but it didn’t have any of those magnificent flavours I can taste from your recipes or when I was fortunate to have had a meal cooked by a marvellous Japanese Mama of a family I used to know when I was younger. Cheers for a fabulous recipe 🍻
No worries Yoyo!! Yeah I know some Japanese restaurants in overseas are quite disappointing sometimes😅 I'm really glad that you tried lots of my recipes, and these seemed making you happy☺️ Sorry for the late reply Yoyo!!! I'll be back with a new stuff when I am ready!!😉👍
Haven't heard of Chow Mein before. But today's meal look very exciting and very seasonal. I might cook the prawn for a shorter time than the chicken personally.
Hi cheflabo. I have always been interested in japanese cousine. What souls you say are the main ingredients one should have to cook the easy recepies ? Thank you.
I love what is going on here. Chow Mein, whether it be prawn, chicken or pork based. Cheffy Labo' putting on the firey 'Fist display as per usual. This is a travelled dish, and it is not really Asian at all in essence. That does not dilute it as a dish - I see Chow Mein as being the cornerstone to Americana influence as Bolognaise is to Italians who travelled over.....

Chow mein simply means fried noodles in Cantonese (southern Chinese dialect, where dim sum hails), 'tis yummy Chinese fast food!

Carrot is 人参 in Japanese?!! That's ginseng in Chinese!
I appreciate your video but I don't like Chinese food or anything Chinese.
Anything Chinese?!!! That's rather unsettling.....
