Thank you for watching!! ご視聴ありがとうございました!! Recently, here in Sydney has lot of rains. I've been in Australia for about 15 years, but never seen that I see rains this often. So next week might be raining again, and I might have to skip my filming, and posting a new video😭 But I'll come back anyway, and still working on updating my website!! So see you next week? Or the week after!👍 最近、ここシドニーでは雨が本当に多いです。
Crazy weather we are having Chef Taku. We will wait do the next upload when you can film. Hopefully your channel grows enough to get you to a bigger kitchen …but I love the outdoor filming so when that happens I would miss the current set up.
I can especially imagine prepping all of the ingredients for yakitori don early and then having it near-enough ready when I get home from work. I might try that!
Best thing about it is that you can make oyakudon, gyudon and butagon in similar way, which mean you can prep in advance for a week with similar ingredients. Just remember to add some veggies into it.
To be honest, I'm a bit skeptical (and never tried before) adding grated apple to curry. But MAN it's a game changer! Richer taste, more sweetness, and also much more twist to the usual curry! Love!
Your channel already changed my life Chef Taku!! I prefer cooking your recipes than dining at expensive Japanese restaurants. Thank you as always Taku San ü
No worries Kenneth!! Yeah I know my recipes are probably better than most ordinary casual Japanese restaurants😎 I'm glad that I could made a positive effect on your life😉👍
I made the yakitori don for dinner and I loved it. Thank goodness I keep kombu in my pantry now. It was such a simple recipe. It was perfect to make easily after a stressful work day.
First video of yours I came across and I love it, even more so when I saw the rice bran oil. Then I knew you were in Aus so I knew I could get the ingredients here readily. Great video, I look forward to the rest
My dear chef, it’s great to see these 3 dishes done by you in most simplistic way. My children would love these. And I’m opening a restau-I’ll introduce these dishes. Sorry about weather there.
I love ginger, works great with strong flavoured meats, beef goes well with ginger too. By the way, Chef, may I ask, can you do a recipe with duck meat, I was once in a Japanese restaurant, and tried fried duck, it was fantastic.
Thanks for the recipes! I made your chashu the other day and it was divine! Do you have any vegetarian recipes too? Hehehe got the first comment too 😸😸😸
@@CHEFSLABO I made your yakitori don for dinner tonight … OMG it was just divine 👌👌 … thank you for your creative hard work producing your 3 in 1 recipe bonanza 🙏🙏🌸

Hi Ash!! To be honest, no😅 If it's a wet kind of salt, it will definitely not work. But Flake salt can be alright perhaps👀 If you experiment, please let me know😉
I just realized... He features figurines of bluey, a G rated show. And it just came to my mind that hes at least in his 40s Thats a based man right here folks
chef can you tell me brand of soy sauce you use in the video ? I use K***man it turns my yakitori chicken to ugly dark brown ... I made yakitori don for my lunch and not so appetizing when I open up my own lunch box later
Hi Jeff T!! Kikkoman is good brand, but you might have used "Tamari soy sauce" which is darker. So have a look at the FAQ link in the description. It probably will help👍😉
@@CHEFSLABO yes i have read the FAQ as usual but im surprised you haven't mentioned the FAQ about Mirin and Sake substitute like in your previous videos
If you don't have curry roux pre-prepared, you can make your own if you have curry powder, which is itself a spice mix mostly of chinese five-spice, cumin seed, turmeric, and pepper. At around 11:15 where he is halfway through his onions, add more oil (or a better fat, a flavorful one is good, like clarified butter) and flour, then brown the flour as you cook the onions and then the garlic. You will need to adjust your timing that the flour starts browning as the aromatics are done. The flour turns to roux in the presence of oil/fats and high heat, you need that before the water goes in. Then, as you add the water and other ingredients, mix in your curry powder. You can also cook the curry powder mixed in with the roux to achieve that kind of smoked spice effect, or you can skip that.
I love shogayaki (ginger pork) Its my favorite dish from japan that i had the pleasure to find out about. Its a fairly easy dish but its soooo tasty. Loved this video and all the dishes and will try out your recipes.
