I didn't like the 3rd. part but I do like the way Megan really kiss him in any chance she got. Don't blame her. So many years in a role when she need to refuse to kiss Jonathan might be really frustrated. She even have the honey moon with him. Lucky girl. She kissed the dream boy of many.

You have to remember that when this series started out it was in the late nineteen eighties and early nineteen nineties. So yeah he looked different. He was heavier. He had more hair on his head . Less wrinkles. Doggonit he was much younger. Possibly in his late teens or early twenties. Whereas by the time this third movie came out in the 2000s which is like over twenty years later he was much older and looked a little bit different and older.
Considering their ages now, Gil and Anne would be grandparents. I wished Kevin had made a 4th film with the original cast I would have loved to see how Anne and Gil raised little Dominic.

Walter, twin girls Anne and Diana, AKA Nan & Di, Shirley (a boy) and Marilla AKA Rilla, were all born during Anne of Ingleside. Rainbow Valley is about a pastor’s family with occasional appearances by the Blythes. Rilla of Ingleside is about how WW1 impacted the entire family. By that time Anne and Gilbert had actually been married over 20 years, not newlyweds as portrayed in the third movie.
