I just installed this in my mustang, this video was a huge help. Despite not being in most other install videos, the trans crossmember had to be dropped for me to fit the shaft in, like in this video. My favorite part of this one is 16:55 where you say to torque those bolts down knowing full well it’s impossible. I’m sure you guys torqued them down off camera *wink-wink*
I just installed my DSS ALU one piece and I have a vibration I can not seem to figure out why. All points all lined up on the front but no DSS marks on the diff side at all. In the video they dont talk about the diff side at all. IS there one to line up? The vibration only happens between 14- 1800 rpm then goes away. Anyone have any idea?

I believe the stock drive shaft weighs about 37 lbs . So 20+ lbs reduction in rotational mass
Would it be the same installation process for a automatic?
I've read about many vibration issues with the one piece aluminums. Is this true for 2020 GT's?
it was sure true for mine.17 gt 5300 miles i did craddle lock stage 2 an diff lock an man its an issue.
If there is a vibration issue, 9/10 chance you installed it wrong.
I can say at 150, I experience no vibration on my 14 gt.

Probably improperly balanced right from DSS.
Do I need any special bolts or does the dss come with bolts?

That useless 2 piece steel DS and the clutch should be you very first mod period.
Same driveshaft the super snake has. Unfortunately QA-1 makes way better driveshafts in every single way than any driveshaft out.
