How has the leveling kit held up and which one are you still using? Did it void your warranty any? What's the biggest tire size you can get on it? Thanks, I'm sitting at 82,000 miles and am trying to decide which way I want to go to get bigger tires?
The leveling kit is great. No problems to report. It is the rough country 2" level you can find here: amzn.to/3q8SoMf. I would you could go to a 275 series tire without issue. I am on a 265/65/17 but that's because I also have 1.5" wheel spacers pushing everything out. Without the wheel spacers I'd be able to fit a taller/wider tire.
Hey! Got a few questions sorry! If I’m cleaning the engine bay and don’t have the cover anymore due to an cold air intake. Would I have to cover it? Also would a KN intake void my warranty??
You shouldn't have to cover anything just don't spray directly into anything and keep it as far away from electronics as possible. These things are designed to get wet to an extent.
Yeah my terminal cover is cracked. Hasn’t broken off yet. Cracked it while changing oil filter. I have the same floor mats and fluid film the shit outta my undercarriage for the winter. I’m in NJ.
Didn't think you could power wash a colorados engine mine has a x tru the power washer Sign thanks for the info still not comfortable doing it I guess it can get wet just not high pressure
Yeah I didn’t have it on high pressure. It gets wet just from regular daily driving just don’t put pressurized water in that area, especially between the seals, and you’re good.
Just FYI. I got my replacement wipers at my local Chevy dealer for $15 each. Just Incase neat time you want OEM GM parts . I was hoping they did just the replacements for the rubber inserts like Honda but the GM blades are just as good as any aftermarket ones in my opinion .
@@HorsePowerObsessed yeah these ones are starting too streak so it's time to replace them. These are great trucks all around, no problems and very reliable. I'm hoping to get some stuff done to mine very soon.

I think you need to upgrade the pressure washer's hand-held nozzle to TWIN-TURBO'S! If one is good, two has got to be great!😉 I'll prove it to you. Come to my house, I have a Water Wheel Dyno setup! Oh yeah, bring your yellow rubber suit, you might get just a little wet during testing. Now, hold the phone, stop the music, just wait a minute! I have to comment on your washing attire. Don't you get cold feet? 🤔😊 Kind of strange where GM get their parts. That cover is from Hungary. Lastly, after you sprayed the engine and related covers down with water, I loved the "wet look." I'd be tempted to paint them shiny black. Unless, do you or Blackout Tinting know of a detail product that would make the plastic shiny, I mean really shiny. I enjoyed the upload Justin. Save the Wave🙋🏼♂️
Hey Justin, for someone without that washer setup do you recommend any engine bay cleaner for use. I have a 1500 Silverado that is getting pretty dirty in the engine bay. Thanks!
@@HorsePowerObsessed thanks for responding. I had a contractor grind my concrete floor to remove stains and roughen the surface. Then applied a neutralizing cleaner. Applied paint as directed and let "cure" for a week. Hot Corvette tires still pulled up small patches.
HorsePower Obsessed not familiar with that product. Hope whatever you choose works for you. I ended up putting tarps over the paint job. Also no longer have corvette 😢😢😢😭😭
Much more Colorado content to come, guys! Someone just got sponsored by Rough Country! 😁🤫
I cannot wait, we need more content!
Good day Justin; always enjoy maintenance & detailing videos, as detailing is a passion for me; take care, and have a wonderful week.
Thanks, you too!
Literally doing the same to the Colorado today and your video came up after I finished
lol nice!
Thanks for this video this helps me and understand how to clean my Colorado engine bay 👍
You’re very welcome!
Thanks for showing me cleaning engine bay
You’re very welcome!
Right on Justin, looking great. I tell the wife, I use soft pressure only.🤙
🤣🤣🤣 Thanks, man!
Dawn power wash works great on mats
After you pressure wash the engine bay, it makes it easier to see the "Do Not Pressure Wash" emblem on top of the electrical cover by the battery.🤣
I never pressure washed anything. I specifically left the “pressure” part of that statement off 🤣
+1 for the Bosch Icons
Always have had good luck with these blades.
What’s that cold intake you have?
Cold air inductions. I’ve done 2 other videos on the install you can check out on the channel.
I do the exact same procedure. After my rinse, I take it for a 20-30 minute drive on the hwy to dry it off.

Yeah it's a pretty common issue, easy fix, though.
Are there any filters to change out on the No Spots Pro deionized water tank?
No filters. It's just DI resin that needs changed after a while.
What detergent did you use
Just this soap: amzn.to/3xOnlLL
I would try it but my luck sooner or later there would be a problem I don't need any issues.
I would invest in some Rain-X. I don't even use my wipers anymore and I live in high hurricane traffic area.
I like ceramic coating. If I drive over 30mph with the XPEL ceramic on the windshield I don't even have to think about turning on the wipers.

I got the Bosch wipers for around the same price after a coupon. It was easier to just do it that way for me.
Those OEM wiper blades are great, I got a 2017 Colorado and I still have the original wipers on it.
I liked the oem wipers too but apparently they were streaking.

I didn't see links to items in your pressure washing system. I am curious, since it looks like a great setup.

Thanks, Peter! I did get "wet" feet doing this lol. I could coat them with some engine dressing but I don't like how it attracts dirt.

You can really just use a garden hose. Get it wet and soapy and wipe it down with a rag.
Turbo nozzle . . . I've obliterated wood siding on a house (accidentally) with that thing. Gotta be careful! lol
Absolutely! With any of this stuff you have to be careful but when used properly, it's amazing!
1. How does air get into that air box?
2. Can you come do my vinyl siding?
Lolololol. This unit is for personal use but air is pulled from the passenger side fender for this intake.
Beautiful truck. But is it as reliable as Ram😁
Hello from Ukraine)
I've had no issues in my 2 years of ownership!
Hi there!
@@HorsePowerObsessed beautiful
A ram deemed reliable.... There's news!! Lol
I think that engine needs some XPEL!
Agreed!!
I clicked on the link for the positive battery cover and it pops up on amazon for $30. That’s a little more then $10.
It was 10 but this video was also recorded over a year ago so prices do change on Amazon unfortunately
Considering how fastidious you are with your vehicles, the garage floor could use the same
Absolutely agree! I'm kicking around some options. It's coming!

That's why I'm iffy on epoxy. I'm leaning more towards race deck.

What's up with going into stores with no mask?
