Very thorough. thank you for being so in detail. Many people might not realize reasons to change their code often as pointed out in your intro. You might want to add that if you want to clear all codes, you have to hold the yellow button for a certain amount of time…thank you!
Yes. This guy gossip too much. And his instructions on how to reset an existing code is horrible. I lost my existing code and this video can’t help crap.
Thank you for your comment! You can set temporary PINs for different relatives and family members. However, please note that this feature is not available on garage door openers that have a green LEARN button or an external receiver. To assist you further, I recommend visiting the product page (linked on the video's description). You'll find the manual located at the bottom of the product's description. Navigate to the second page, where you'll find a detailed, step-by-step guide on how to set up your temporary PINs. I hope this helps, and if you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to reach out!
I can't thank you enough for your video. Listen I live in a condo community. My neighbor has been living next to me for 7 years and yet all of a sudden last week his garage door opener started opening my garage door. Lift Master Model 8065. First let me tell you that I have a push button control panel and just bought the 882LMW control panel because it has a lock feature and so I will swap my push button with this new control panel. I have spent all weekend learning stuff related to my unit and accessories and I read that what I could do to deal with this problem of my neighbor's remote opening my door all of a sudden is "ERASE" all the codes in my liftmaster (there is not a RESET option as I downloaded the manual (and then reprogram my keypad and my removes. I have these questions for you: 1. if I erase all my codes and then reprogram MY remotes and MY key pad and etc it is true that this will STOP my neighbor's remote from opening my garage door? This concept is suggested many places on the internet. 2. If I use the new "electronic lock feature on the new 882LMW control panel: while it will lock out MY remotes from working will it also lock out my neighbor's remote? Thank you for your excellent video and your help.
Kind of an off question. But, will my Chamberlain wall keypad (940EV-P2) open my Liftmaster 81602 garage door during a power outage? The garage opener has a battery back up installed - but wasn't too sure if or how the keypad and the opener will work together in the event of a power outage? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I cannot find any info regarding this...
7 minutes of lifetime down the drain. And it doesn't even work. Now I have 2 codes which open my garage. The old one ( which I was hoping to learn how to remove here....) , and the new one. Great. Can anyone help me to remove not wanted codes from the keypad ?
Ridiculous video talking about security but programming a new pin DOES NOT delete the past one. This video is incomplete. Still don’t know how to delete old pins.
The instructions at 3:27 are just wrong, skip to 5-6 min. (At 3:27 you are SETTING a code without having pushed the LEARN button). Probably a mistake during post/editing.
This didn't help me because I can't see where to open to find the learn button. That is what I am here for. Your model is different I guess. the hatch you have is where my light it. Will keep looking.
Between the factory directions and these various videos I've seen at least 3 ways to program these keypads none of which worked. Please get your act together. These devices are stone age and extremely frustrating to program. It makes me regret I spent so much money to get a Liftmaster opener and then another $50 to get a keypad that is impossible to program into my current system.
Currently having the same issue with my sisters, craftsman opener. It says the chamberlain one will work with craftsman. The Learn light flashes when I hit the button, but it will never opens the door. Like you said, three different ways to program, it makes no sense.
Go to 5 minutes in the video to hear instructions how to program keypad
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment!
Let me save you 7 min: Push the LEARN button. Within 30 seconds enter your PIN [ENTER] two times. Your keypad is programmed.
You're a genius! Thanks!!!
Thank you
Thank you so much it’s worked
Good Lord, this is a 30 second video turned into a lecture

Glad it was helpful! Thank you for sharing your feedback.
Dude. Just program the thing.
Amen to that jesus
All this talk about doing it I could’ve reprogrammed it already before he even got started with the directions. SMH.

Exactly!
Fr😂
I am following all steps and the system is not allowing the garage to go up or down
Holy shit get to the point !
PLEASE redo the video. I almost fell asleep waiting for the information 😢
Can you have more than one code for the key pad to open the door . For different relatives

Yes it will. The keypad act like a wireless transmitter. So as long as your keypad and your garage opener have power it will work.
Thank you for the quick response.@@all-security-equipment
Is this guy being paid by the minute?!
yes, longer videos get another ad break

I ended buying a new opener and installed it by the time he finished talking
remember to breath. eat oranges.

The learn button, which I think I saw on another video, is the on the unit on the garage ceiling. You'll need your ladder.
Why can’t this be done on myiq. And why is liftmaster using myiq and not Alexa
Painful

OMG... Get to the point...
he didnt shut up
YOU TALK TO DAWN MUCH REALLY THATS WHY I DID NOT LIKE IT AND NOT CLICK ON SUBSCRIBER NO WAY TO TALK TO F. Much
I gave up.
This video could have been 90 seconds long.
The whole thing should be about 20 sec. The rest is irrelevant verbal diarrhea . This guy needs to take an online class on effective communications.
spend too much time to show intruder, instead to show how to set up the code
Get right to the point, too much talk and still confusing.
Talks way too much.
