Growing up and realizing who your parents really are can be such a hard thing to comprehend.. the fact that her dad possibly cheated on their mom, the fact that he lied, the fact that he blocked the son so he knew, his integrity and everything is what she’s grieving.

So many young men idealize their absent father. Until they live with them. It’s hard on the custodial parent because they have to hold their tongue and watch their child’s heart get broken. But they do come back with a greater appreciation for mom.

I understand how she feels. All of my sisters and brothers know who their father is. My mother never told me who my father is . I am 67 years old and my mom has passed on. I will never know who my father is. It’s still a missing hole in my life. I forgave her because after all these years I’ve come to believe that she just didn’t know and every time I would ask her she would feel embarrassed and helpless. Then my heart broke for her because unexpected things happen in life. The times my mom grew up were very hard on women. Birth control did not exist. And they had no choice but to have the child. She had 9 children that lived and 1 that died. She had me at age 15 and a child every year after that. We are stair step children. I still love her and wished life could have been better for her. For the first video, try the Ancestry DNA. I did it and had my family do it, and I found out who my birth father was, and I was happy as hell! You will find your father, trust me.
That's how my brother found us! Our dad is not a good person, but he and some of us sisters have a great friendship and building the familial relationship.
My younger brother and I did Ancestry DNA tests. We grew up with both of our birth parents but wanted to find out more about relatives from the past. It's absolutely incredible what you can find out with a DNA test. My paternal grandparents were in England so we only saw them for three visits in our lives. I was searching for some information about where they grew up, etc. I found the name of the church and a photograph of where they got married in 1918. I typed the name of the church in the Search bar, thinking that the church might be radically renovated or maybe even had been torn down. But there it was in front of me! Looking exactly like it had the day they got married! The other thing you get with your DNA results is a list of places that make up your DNA because of old relatives from your past. We knew of course that we were going to have a large percentage of British Isles, but we didn't expect the results that we got. British was the largest percentage of my heritage, at 30%. My brother had 7% British !! The rest of our DNA was various European countries, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and the REAL surprise - Russia!! We haven't come across a relative with Russian background yet, but we will!

About five years later, he came back and apologized and told us what had happened. We redid the test, and he's the father.

I understand how she feels. All of my sisters and brothers know who their father is. My mother never told me who my father is . I am 67 years old and my mom has passed on. I will never know who my father is. It’s still a missing hole in my life. I forgave her because after all these years I’ve come to believe that she just didn’t know and every time I would ask her she would feel embarrassed and helpless. Then my heart broke for her because unexpected things happen in life. The times my mom grew up were very hard on women. Birth control did not exist. And they had no choice but to have the child. She had 9 children that lived and 1 that died. She had me at age 15 and a child every year after that. We are stair step children. I still love her and wished life could have been better for her. RIP MOM. 🙏🏿😇

For the first video, try the Ancestry DNA. I did it and had my family do it, and I found out who my birth father was, and I was happy as hell! You will find your father, trust me.

That's how my brother found us! Our dad is not a good person, but he and some of us sisters have a great friendship and building the familial relationship.
My younger brother and I did Ancestry DNA tests. We grew up with both of our birth parents but wanted to find out more about relatives from the past. It's absolutely incredible what you can find out with a DNA test. My paternal grandparents were in England so we only saw them for three visits in our lives. I was searching for some information about where they grew up, etc. I found the name of the church and a photograph of where they got married in 1918. I typed the name of the church in the Search bar, thinking that the church might be radically renovated or maybe even had been torn down. But there it was in front of me! Looking exactly like it had the day they got married! The other thing you get with your DNA results is a list of places that make up your DNA because of old relatives from your past. We knew of course that we were going to have a large percentage of British Isles, but we didn't expect the results that we got. British was the largest percentage of my heritage, at 30%. My brother had 7% British !! The rest of our DNA was various European countries, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and the REAL surprise - Russia!! We haven't come across a relative with Russian background yet, but we will!
