- Learn how to crochet a Sunburst Granny Square. I used sunflower colors to make it as a Sunflower granny square but it will look absolutely beautiful in other colors also. You can use this granny square starburst motif in crochet blankets, cushion covers, bags or even sweaters.

Wrote this in a way I would understand.
R1: magic circle, chain 3, double crochet into circle 15 times, slst into chain 3, cut and tie off yarn.
R2: join new color, ch2, yarn over and pull up 3 times, pull through all 7 loops, ch1, repeat around, slst into ch1 space, cut and tie off.
R3: join new color into ch1 space, ch 2. 3 DC together in same stitch, ch 2. DC 4 together and ch 2 all the way around. Slst into chain 2 st, cut off yarn.
R4: attach new color in ch2 space. Ch4, 2 triple crochet in same stitch. [3dc same stitch, 3 hdc same stitch, 3 DC same stitch, 3 tc same stitch, ch2, 3 tc in same stitch] repeat in brackets 3 more times, ch2 and Slst into chain 4 and tie off :)
