Too much posing and flitting around, his sound was much thinner and weaker than Randy's. Zakk was a better fit.

@@greatunz67 Yeah sure.....the guitar sounding thin as you put it is all the fault of the sound man behind the board at this particular show. He used too much echo delay on everything and captured this bands live show totally wrong. This was Ozzys best lineup. The Osbournes had a problem with always changing their personal whether it was band lineup changes or band sound crew changes they seemed to always be inconsistent with sticking to something that worked and it left a bad taste in everyone's mouth with all this. Ozzy is his own worst enemy and whoever influences his decision making revolving his personal business. Ozzy and Sharon hired the idiot bus driver that killed Randy in that plane crash fiasco, Ozzy fired legendary Max Norman who produced the first two Ozzy albums with success and then used Bon Jovi's uncle to produce for Bark At The Moon which sounded like crap and then after used Nevison to produce Ultimate Sin which was better sounding but way too much keyboard emphasis. Max could have captured the Jake era Ozzy alot better but Ozzy was too drunk to realize that. Then the Zakke era was the nail in the coffin for me with Ozzy cause it was just trendy metal sellout music with rehashing cliche original ality at its finest. Today's Ozzy is just him shadowing what he once was and will never be. He needs to just call it quits and fade off into the sunset and relish in his fortune.
I wish countless musicians would take that advice. Go out on top and preserve your legacy and your dignity. Instead, even the wealthy allow their egos to run their careers into the ground.

Jake was always one of my favorites an I'm convinced Randy would have loved his playing because they're both such awesome musicians. Bark at the moon is one of the best written songs ever and guitar leads for sure.
Without a doubt man! I'm not sure how accurate the information is, but I heard Jake was only paid $20,000 for his work on the Bark at the Moon album. Obviously Ozzy was probably too wasted to know about any of the financial agreements, but Sharon knew exactly what she was doing! She took advantage of a young naive and trusting Jake E Lee who probably didn't know what most of the language was when he was presented with the legal documents to sign. He was probably just happy to be in a stable situation!

idk where this audio comes from but it surely isn’t from Rock In Rio as the footage has been chopped up and edited to fit around this different performance. Go watch a different upload of Crazy Train from this show and you’ll notice how many instances of Ozzy yelling at the audience to go crazy aren’t here

This image quality is very good even though this camera from Rede Globo Rock in Rio 1985 was recorded with very dark lighting, but originally these images were first for those giant Laser Discs, then transferred to DVDs, despite the image being reasonably clean. the images were very dark, Rede Globo saving light for epic Rock in Rio shows in January 1985 and doing shit. I have the 2 Concerts from Ozzy Rock in Rio 85 in DVDs also.

@@sisibond Well no, I don't know if your audio was edited or not but in my footage it's practically the same quality, as I told you, this Concert was first released on those big Laser Discs and then transferred to a system and recorded on DVD but it's practically the same thing, but if you edited it, your audio might be a little better.

@@CarlosEduardo-cq3gp You are lucky, you have the original video, which few people have. And there will probably never be an official reissue of Ozzy in Rio 1985.
@@sisibond Yeah, Thank you friend, I have many materials from Ozzy here originals footages people from Brazil Curitiba Parana, Sao Paulo, Porto Alegre are awesome Headbangers friends and for me need only of the boxset I See You on the Other Side Ozzy LPs and Posters sealed because I really have the Essentials albums and footages from Ozzy. Are 32 years following Ozzy career, God Bless Ozzy and he can back doing Concerts in 2024, he deserves the better because Ozzy is Awesome great Heavy Metal Lorde Rockstar personality. God Loves Ozzy.
