Greetings Brian, you are really stepping up in the Auto Tech and Automobile reviews. Looks like you are enjoying yourself and traveling to certain events to introduce us to these newer products. I'm waiting on Viofo to improve the A139 Pro's rear camera before purchasing one of their dash cams. Also, for Viofo to resolve their heat dissipation/ overheating problems. Innovation requires patience as only time will tell if progress was made. Success happens when you try and keep trying until you persevere. Not trying you accomplish nothing. Progress is slow therefore, you need to have patience. Smile !!! it's a beautiful day.
You made a VERY IMPORTANT POINT for the main camera placement: Watch where you place it because we don't realize that when it rains, certain areas of the windshield may not be covered by the wipers. Great video! QQ: From what I understand, the GPS module is located in the mount. Is that so or I need to buy it separately? Thanks!
Cant wait to install mine, going to be replacing my A129. Looking forward to the slim new design of the cable. The previous model wouldn't allow you to reverse the cable direction since it wasn't usb c. I really need to invest in a battery bank. I'm planning on installing the viofo motorcycle cam to the front grill and rear diffuser of my car to add an additional set of eyes. viofo needs to implement an option to run a larger storage solution.
9:38 Anyone know whats the AV Out for? The manual says you can connect an external monitor, but what does it display? I would like to get the feed from the rear camera.
At 4:14, Brian highlighted a very important point with regard to camera placement, i.e. the camera should be placed at a location where the rainwater can be wiped off by the wipers; else the raindrops will obscure the view. Amazing review and thanks very much.
Wow this seems like a very solid dash cam. I’ve been enjoying my Vantrue N4 ever since you reviewed it but this camera seems like it could be worth upgrading to. I’m not normally a fan of using the apps either but it looks like Viofo has that part figured out. Thanks for the review 👍🏾
@@nieho2659 For me it’s been a good experience with the N4 dash cam. I have this unit installed in 3 of my cars and it actually has saved us in an accident in which a person ran their red light and hit us. (The other person said their light was green, all the witnesses that were at the scene left when the cops got there, and lastly the cops mentioned there wasn’t a traffic cam at the intersection for them to review what happened. N4 gave them the truth.) Been using this camera for 3 years now and there are some ups and downs with it but I don’t regret getting this at all.
This might be a very specific question but...can you disable to volume or at least the initial power up voices? Hearing it go off each time I turn my car on would get annoying quickly... thanks
Thanks for review. Question: are the license plates (front camera, 4K) clearly visible from video recorded, even in the car in front of you is running fast? (daily vision and NIGHT vision first of all !!) Currently I have a Viofo T130 and night vision is very bad, pretty unuseful
hi, thank you for the video, I am in the market of having a 3ch dash cam for family use, I am torn between Vantrue E3 vs this Viofo A239 Pro, I am concern for the heat issue since Vantrue E3 come with a Supercapacitor while Viofo a139 is not. And for the line of vision issue since E3 seems to be one obstructing my view while Viofo has a separate in-cabin camera that may solve the problem. What is your take on this since you reviewed both of them. Thank you for your advice
New model camera and why video 24fps. I have the A129 pro duo 4k model, it records at 60fps, and at high speeds it records at 60fps with better quality.

You forgot the link to the dashcam battery.
What kind of battery would you recommend for this camera to use with the parking mode?

Can you kindly post the link the dashcam battery that you reference in the video. Thanks!
You forgot the link to the battery. :-) Good review, though.

Can it handle casual microSD card for 4K recording, or it needs "industrial" microSD ?
I just use ones from Costco but the manufacture does have recommended cards that you should use so I' would check with their website.
may i ask why the camera lags on the application i can see it lags not the actual record the live video mine lags too is this a bug?

how's your experience with vantrue n4?

can you do a selfie vlog review of the main 4k unit facing interior view?

Viofo A139 Pro vs 70mai Omni 360 degree camera?
Black colors seem off? Looks purple!
battery link?🙄

dope
Sadly the A139Pro comes with the regular rear camera w/ IMX 291 and not the IMX 335 :(. They trying to scam everyone!!
There are so many Tesla's because they don't need any additional dashcam! Can more car manufacturers have them built-in already...
the quality is nowhere near as good as this though
@@Stallzyx Not to mention Tesla still does not record any audio 😕
