Joe Dov How to use a portable power plan
There are a few factors in running a woodworking business. One plan I discovered that successfully combines these is the Enata wood system (check it out on google) without a doubt the most useful plan that I have ever heard of. look at the interesting information.
Tools for quality work output.

Yes all belong to Kerg products for sure
1:30 You should still use glue.
2:20 You can make saw guide with mdf or plywood. It cost literally nothing.
And wait until the glue dries before removing the excess glue.
peger kreg is a scam isnt it
North of 49 glue doesnt dry in 10 seconds flat
True, it doesn't dry in 10 seconds flat. But if you plan on finishing that side, then you will need to clean off the glue from the wood. And that will most likely take more time than scraping off a bead of dried glue.
Glue is stronger then most woods. Those screws would be trivial to wrench out. The sole advantage of pocket screws is you don't have to wait for drying time.
But then most people glue up, then use brads to hold the work piece together while the glue dries.
Nothing is ever as easy as they say it is.
Kreg, the perfect choice for the millionaire carpenter
lol
I wanted their guide for x-mas, but At $100 on sale I opted for a 2x4 and some clamps...
Err, no. Millionaire carpenters choose Festool so they can brag on about how great it is. Wankers

Sponsored by Kreg. Not complaining. I own all those tools.
This is actually very handy. I am very surprised on how much people are mad at comments, lol.
I like this Kreg ad.
So many negative comments about jigs and those who use them. Someone said they're for lazy people. How narrow-minded. I've spent many years using precision tools but i'm no purist or perfectionist. Unfortunately i now have severe arthritis and i find that not only does Kreg make quality, robust jigs, but they help me now to achieve an outcome which i would otherwise not be able to reach. So spare a thought for those who can celebrate maintaining their independence or discovering that they can make something with their hands (and a jig) despite not having the training or tools or skills. Thanks Kreg, keep up the good work.
I'm a simple DIY that is learning how to use the right tools & making things. My buddy told me about this Kreg pocket hole jig for a loft bed he made for his kids. I borrowed his 2 yrs ago & built a very sturdy loft bed from pine using this pocket hole jig. I did glue all of my joints & this was very easy. I just bought the pocket hole jig to build my daughters bed. Same thing...pocket holes & more sturdy that the expensive beds at the stores plus I know it's strong. I just wish I had the time to learn more about carpentry & other ways to join wood & the right bits, tools & techniques. I'm glad youtube is around. I wish I had time to take some basic woodworking classes.
As much as I'm disappointed that this is a kreg ad, I gotta say they make some good stuff
make your own jig in under 5 min and use any pocket screw
This is cool thing for 5 WoodWorking tool
Good .thanks
Kreg screw, really. We've had them in Canada for 50 + years. They're called robertson screw heads. We brought them down to the US and the contractors couldn't believe them. Best they've seen.
I tried that circular saw guide. Saying it is trash is a compliment. It is a nice concept but it didn't fit my Rigid Saw well at all and was just generally cheap junk. I returned it and clamped wood down as a guide to make my cuts.
well done
I used the Kreq system with a totally plywood interior in my box truck/RV conversion......ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT!
Ah lerve ma Kreg jig..one of the best jigs I ever bought.
good|thanks}
that kind of joint is anything but rock solid
Great tips !
Would have never known some of these items and systems even existed !
Put every one of them on my Amazon wish list !
Thanks again !
hey let's make an ad for the same fucking thing more than once so that we make people annoyed enough to buy it
I love your channel and videos
Nice Kreg advert
The square drive screw is a Canadian invention. We've been using them since P. L. Robertson invented the Robertson screw and screwdriver in 1908.
Ladies, you a learning a process you may use for a home project. Who Cares if it's a commercial. These tools are high quality.
I have 50 years in manufacturing. I like what I see here. No complaints from this toolmaker. Just watch and learn.
This Craig guy is pretty smart he seems to know his shit
So you basically cut together 5 commercials. Cool.
this video should say sponsored by kreg
did you notice they put the other screw more to the edge it's because they will both crack the wood if you put them that far out you have to drill a pilot hole
no bs here. Only appreciated by craftsmen...not trolls
great.
nice tool
Tricked into watching a commercial.
It makes jobs easier! Bot takes the talent away from old school carpenters! But I agree time is money!
If I'd wanted adverts!!!
the first one is literally: do you suck at hammering nails and screws. then this is the product for you!
A Kreg commercial, nice
Cool
Ive been a cabinet and furniture maker for 22 years. I would never have used pocket holes. When i made Dressers i used dovetails. Finger joints and dovetails on cabinets, dados and biscuits. The thing is, pocket holes are cheap and easy. My cheaper cabinets and furniture I build i use pocket holes. But my upscale with over $1000 worth of wood, I use the tried and true classy joints. Pocket holes are good for if you don't build furniture and do things once in a while
It's nice tools and cuts work time Thanks.
Why are they using pocket holes in MDF and particle board? Seems like finger pressure should break those out.
I don't understand the hate over the Kreg jig. Although, hate over the video being a advertisement,I completely get! I personally have and use a kreg jig, and personally glue along with using the kreg joint. I don't understand why you wouldn't glue when screwing anything together, kreg or not. Its a quick easy joint, that is also great for beginner woodworkers. granted, their prices are I think a little high, but so far they have held up for me.
Who uses drywall screws for wood?
Matthias wandell, he also does lots of tests on them and shows that whilst not as strong as standard wood screws for the applications most people will use them in they are way more than strong enough, he also shows that pocket holes are some of the weakest joints that can be made.
After I kept snapping heads off the regular ones from big box, yea, I use em. Grip-Rite ones are awesome... YMMV :)
Lmao 😂 that's exactly what i was thinking
Ross Sharp I was watching the pocket hole segment just laughing thinking what matthias would think about it and then they talked about how inferior drywall screws were
I'm surprised there isn't a Kreg clamp. Let's be honest. Every project requires a clamp.
LOL, nice stop on the Forstner Bit for the hinge, then he just jams an unstopped 1/16" bit in for the screw holes, whereby the average weekend warrior drills right through to the front of the door panel and then wonders why the kit didn't come with some wood filler.................
Ahh yes, pocket holes, the strongest of joints
I prefer joints with no screws at all-----cleaner and stronger
I have glue "chemolan 45" from Poland, without taps, screws, and other inventions, binds like concrete all porous, and wood and metal. 1kg=5$.
It was enough to buy 5 kg of glue to build a small house
You can use a sheet metal screw also, it has a flat under side. Works good for me.
omg I'm so tired of that messy glue.. no body in the entire world knows how to use clamps and glue..thanks Kreg
If by "no body" you mean you then that's fine. I think you'll find most of the human race is perfectly comfortable with glue and clamps, which are really not too difficult to use. Perhaps you should get your parents to teach you.
i think you need new batteries in your sarcasm meter. :)
My batteries are still fully charged. The trick to using sarcasm properly is to ensure it can be recognised as such.
Banseng Khoo kreg save the world hahah
Banseng Khoo kreg save the world hahah
Kreg informercial. Somebody's getting some major kickbacks!
nice
Four out of five are "Kreg". Yeah, that adds credibility to your "must have" advice. :-)))
Nah, I'll stick with mortise and tenon, and dovetail joints with glue it is more sturdy than the joint screw alone. And with jigsaw guide it is damn easy to make one.... :D
interesting video
I am glad you like it thank you for watching
2:34 and that's why people complain about health insurance.
Thankyou for the video im inspired.
Kreg you are a life saver , wink wink
Kreg Screw is good.
I've never drilled a pilot hole and my screws almost never split the wood. Maybe because I am using the right screws... They act as if they invented a wheel. Screws with flat heads and half-threaded screws has been out there since the invention of a screw... Also, square head is nothing new... If you want, you can buy an allen or torx head, but if you use the correct bit, the phillips head slips at the same rate as the other types... By the way - the secret to drive the screw into the wood correctly is using a screwdriver... Low to mid range drills are garbage drivers, if you don't have an expensive high-end drill and want to drive the screw in precisely and cleanly, use a screwdriver. If you are not a pro, a screwdriver will do you just fine. Or use some low-end or mid-range drill good at drilling, but crap at driving screws and you will have the work done more quickly, but you'll most probably destroy your screw and sometimes you'll split the wood. For non-visible joints it does not matter. Either one works.
Thank you for this lengthy contribution
thank you for promoting bullshit!
only for the craziest fans, but you can hear a slower version of Keep Yourself Alive by Queen in 6:16
You have a sharp sense of observation ,thank you for watching
I thought I was the only one who worked on my kitchen table at the park..
Man! I needed three of these tools last week!! Too bad I hadn't found this video. I will bookmark the Kreg site for future use.
Thanx 4 watching
espectacular
The video was a commercial but the tools look great
Als Tischler KREG ich nur vom Zusehen Pickel!
i made a little jump of joy when at the words "..and has a reversable guide for bothright and lefthanders" about the ripcut.
im always struggling with circular handsaws because of the lefty-issue, finally someone thought about this!
finger waving
Here in England we never do as MDF is known to cause cancer!
alot of products in the U.S. cause cancer, the government only waits 20 years until the evidence is overwhelming, then they ask the manufacturer to do something about it.
These may be a series of commercials, but they all provide good information and on must-have tools.
How did anyone ever do anything before without the Kreg jig? I like how if someone isn’t using it they screw up whatever it is they are working on.
Ron G
Agreed. They are purposely going to the ridiculous extreme with those demonstrations, like people would not know how to use the tools at all.
I dislike nails and screws they tend to come loose after you move the objects around a bit.
Like the skillsaw jig. the rest of the stuff I wouldn't allow in my shop.
看着就舒服
have these guys never heard of biscuit joints
gmthe second tool is basically saying "do you suck at ripping wood the skilled way? then youshouldnt be in carpentry"
Used those greg jigs at school i like them
The splitting from driving the screw was through choosing a countersunk screw and not using a countersink. Do that and you'll get the head flush with the surface, unlike the Kreg screw. There's a reason you only really see countersunk screws is because you don't want the head showing above the surface.
thank you for your contribution
Bunny Warren:-
I didnt think this was a kreg ad?
# 3 grab some red Robertson wood screws from Home Depot...
They make it look so hard to use glue. I don't have a pocket hole anything, and use glue a bunch. I've had it be the strongest part of my builds. I took a couple pieces of 2x4, cut down to just a couple small contact points, and glued them together. Then tried to break the glue. I snapped the 2x4 on each end and had to resort to putting what was left in a vice to break the glue.
On the circular saw guide they cut on the table instead of over the edge
U have a chance of cutting your table and it could kickback
In the first video he showed how messy to glue two pieces together but the pocket jig has nothing to do with putting two pieces together that way...
Always wear safety glasses when testing a repaired chair... :-)
大有收获
kreg screws are not self tapping; they are self drilling
I have a 3d printer so if I want a "perfect" joint I can print a pocket hole jig
A friggin' Kreg ad with a Wen planer thrown in to confuse you it's not a Kreg ad!!
KREG needs to be putting dust masks on when cutting MDF! And Pocket hole jigs are cheaper on eBay 👌
0:53 that looks rock solid and built to last
did i blink and miss 4
I don't care if it's Kreg or some other brand, I hust don't want to be fed ads when I expect unbiased content.
Instead of drilling it is possible to simply put a small angle of metal
you still need glue, glue and screw, otherwide your joint is still weak.
I'm asking me if this video was sponsored by kreg? :)
These "helping tools" seem pretty good for me, I will try them :D
I am glad you like it thank you for watching
Kreg, when you want to be a carpenter, but don't want to learn how to be a carpenter
