1ST TIME HEARING Limp Bizkit🎵 Faith (First Time Reaction)

- This is our first time hearing Limp Bizkit. Listening to Faith was quite the experience lol. It was shocking to say the least. We've never seen anything like this. What kind of music is this? Like how would you classify it? We're guessing it's some kind of rock?

LOL. Its was George Michael's third biggest hit - when this cover came out, no one on earth didn't know the original. Sigh. I'm old.
I'd rather the original than this version this version is pure garbage..... I'm old also.
You're not old. We are getting old :) I had the George Michael album on cassette ... twice, then CD.
@@pleutron That Faith album was a masterpiece.... Father Figure will always be in my top 10 as one of the best songs ever and I try to listen to everything from Hardcore Punk to good Hip Hop it doesn't matter to me as long as it sounds good.
No one still shouldn’t know the original I’m so shocked
I was thinking the same thing man, Sheesh! Lol
“Wasn’t that guy that gave him a kiss on the cheek from Korn?”
Lex is so observant! 😊
yep, that was on the Family Values tour
Jonathan Davis
Limp Bizkit was like rollerblades. They were so hot, and then at some point everyone pretended like they didn't love them :)
Facts lol
Eminem cancelled Limp Bizkit.
@@redrollins8346 not true
Rollerblades > roller skates errryday
@@selfishstockton6123 kinda... it didn't help, Limp Bizkit went really pop with Rollin' and My Generation..those songs were it for me to stop listening to them. So soft....i guess you could call them sell outs.
The song was originally performed by an artist named George Michael. Limp Bizkit covered it.
More like hit it with their car and drug it down the road as it was howling in agony
@derp derpin it is subjective
“An artist named”…
"An artist named Gerge Michael". 😄
@@LipsumLazyGamerthe, not "an"
You can’t do a limp bizkit reaction unless you do “break stuff”
Hell yeah
Only if it’s the uncensored version.
Only if from Woodstock 1999 live!
Break Stuff is STILL on my playlist.
@@ChiefBones from my understanding they hate edited versions of songs
Yes!! That was John Davis from KoRn. They are great friends and this as a George Michael cover off their first album, a weird era... LOL
Lex is observant af! I never expected her to pick up on that...
@@stirl same i was wondering if either would see..
Korn signed them I believe
John Davis? Soooooo formal... Jonathan.
@@daletolmich6459 He was often referred to as Jon, but never with an h.
This was a George Michael cover song. They have sooo many other songs. I love them. This was my teen years though. 😂 Try Break Stuff, Rollin or Nookie.
Got on here to say the same thing
This is one of the funnier ones to react too, but you're right.
must start with 1st hit... the nookie
Your confused faces where hilarious. Break stuff by limp bizkit so I can see more of them faces😂😂😂
The video is great... So many cameos. It'd be fun for them to realize.
Or Nookie LOL
Do the 94 Woodstock video
Lmfao.....
YES!
"Re-arranged" "Hot Dog" "N 2 Gether Now" "Boiler" all bangers by Limp Bizkit. Who suggested "Faith" to introduce ya'll to Limp Bizkit? Eminem?
For me the song that introduce them to world is a great suggestion!
In all honesty, this cover put them on the map. So it's a great start.
Unlike Daddy to start for KoRn haha
Need to hear other Limp Bizkit stuff. They were part of the Nu Metal scene which is a hybrid of heavy metal and hip hop. Need to listen to Break Stuff, Rollin and Nookie.
Normal people just call it Alternative.
Limp Bizkit - Counterfeit, & Break Stuff are the best.
Counterfeit is one of my favorites!
@@SparkimusPrime me too
@@SparkimusPrime its the 1st Bizkit song I heard. Then break Stuff came.
Yes, but Counterfeit Dj Lethal remix much better for me
Korn and Limp Bizkit were tight back in the day when Nu-Metal was at its highest point. The Family Values Tour was one f the biggest things in the late 90's.
You have to react to their hits: Break Stuff, Nookie, Rollin. This is not the best first Limp Bizkit song to react 😉, I mean... is a cover.
dont forget chocolate star fish lol
The whole chocolate starfish and hot dog flavored water... heck their whole catalog!!!
Their cover of sanitarium is dope
Do listen to those songs. Counterfeit stinky finger or stuck
@@joshgkc great songs too!
Lol. Yall are in your early to mid twenties id guess. Counterfeit is one of my fav limp bizkit songs.
Pollution by Limb Bizkit is one of their best
And stuck
That cd crushes
Pollution and Stuck are the best. They are more raw and less polished than their more well known stuff.
3 dollar bill ya all was my jam
Three Dollar Bill was easily their best album.
The whole chocolate starfish and hotdog flavored water was a masterpiece
Significant Other was as well
This for sure☝
No, no it wasn't their first two were great, but despite its hit singles Chocolate starfish is crap.
I love the whole album. When it came out, it was on a loop for months lol.
@@ryanb5841 as a 12-13 year old it was powerful, it was a masterpiece I prolly wouldn't like a cpl of the songs today but you could literally listen to it start to finish
Do Limp Bizkit -' Rollin' or "My Way" or "Nookie" or "Behind Blue Eyes" They are way better than Faith. The Band Korn signed Limp Bizkit!
And My Generation
Lmao! Limp Bizkit is one of those bands where no song sounds the same. They have rap songs and rock song too so Im sorry that you started with this one. My favorite is "Chocolate Starfish And Hot Dog Flavored Water" Do that one ;)
Agreed! Rolln' would be a great intro song for the band. Behind Blue Eyes is a great second because it shows their variety.
Or break stuff
Please don't listen to these people. Any music by limp bizkit after the debut album is weak sellout pop metal trash. Only album that matters is 3 Dolla Bill Y'all.
Fact
Oh no! Needed to listen to George Michael "faith" first...then this cover. It's a great comparison! Great reaction.
I feel so old rn. I jammed them so hard in high school, back in 97/98
There's no banjo in this at all XD, that's a palm muted guitar lol
Thank god you told them I was bout to. Coming from WV that ain't no banjo!!!!!
Might as well break out the banjo...
Durst singing = Very BAD!!@
Some recommendations-
Korn- did my time
Korn - alone I break
Limp bizkit - rollin
Limp bizkit - break stuff
Limp Bizkit is so underrated, people just hate them because of Fred Durst
One of the greatest rhythm sections. Sam, Jon, Wes, and Lethal were deadly.
It’s fun watching people react to them that don’t have the baggage that those of us that grew up with them do lol
So true. Remove all of the drama that surrounds the band (mainly because of Fred Durst) and they are a pretty solid band with several albums that rock from the first to last track.
Lol. No. People hate them because of Eminem. Lots of drones in the world.
Nah people hate them because they weren't really that good. Wes Borland is a dope guitarist though but the band as a whole compared to other Nu Metal bands like Korn or Deftones.... Limp is not in the same league.
Most of the live footage videos from Woodstock is 🔥
Crowd surfing on plywood. 🤘🤘🤘
I am SO GLAD to have grown up in this era of music!!! The nastalgia....
I grew up in the late 80’s early 90’s. I always jammed in the car with my mom to 80’s hits during that time so I was well aware of the original song. I will never forget the time I needed a ride home from high school soccer practice and one of my teammates popped in a cd I had never seen or heard before. First song was this song right here and I absolutely LOVED it!
For me this was the best LB song to be introduced to. I know a lot of peeps claim they never listened to them, but EVERYONE I knew (friends or not) listened to them and it was a great time to be alive
OMG This is so great 😂🤣😂 I LOVE Limp Bizkit and I love your reaction to them even more! Bahahahahaha
Korn and Limp Bizkit went on tour together everywhere. I saw both a few times. ALWAYS a great show, for sure.
Yeah, them and Korn on family values tour.
I agree with all the comments saying this was a bad first choice to listen to. Please give them another chance lol Go with some of the recommendations. Personally I vote for N 2 gether Now… features Method Man. One of my faves 😁
I love Lex’s face after the video was over!😂
Great reaction hope you guys react to more Limp bizkit :) ahhh the 90s soo good.
the bemused looks on your faces is amazing pmsl, love it
This song is a time machine to the 90’s.
Lmao,,, your first Limp bizkit..
Got to see some of the other stuff from them..
"Break Stuff"... love your reactions
The Bizkit! The Genre is Nu Metal and as everyone has pointed out, it's a cover.
Behind Blue eyes by limp bizkit. Yall will love it. It's one of their slower songs.
I need more reactions from Limp Bizkit! Love the reaction
They were friends with Korn for a while touring on the family values tour together…
Family values tour was f’n great. I got to see Dre, Em, snoop, Limp and X. It was great
3:28 Lex saying FAITH made me laugh out loud and everyone is looking at me now, btw in setting in a waiting room
Lex is on point... was just about to comment if you noticed Korns vocalist Jonathan Davis in the video... You should check out their colaberations . Keep up your reactions on korn and metal in general, really nice to see the excitement you have. Brings me back to when I first listened
Limp Bizkit is Nu Metal, and yes that was Korn, also Nu Metal.
Limp Bizkit - Counterfeit
Limp Bizkit - Sour
Limp Bizkit - Stuck
Limp Bizkit - Pollution
Limp Bizkit - Leech
Limp Bizkit - Re-Arranged
Limp Bizkit - Eat You Alive
KoRn helped launch Limp Bizkit. Family Values Tour. It was Jonathan Davis from KoRn that kissed the singer.
I must have missed it the first time I watched but that's an absolutely adorable analogy at the end of this. You guys are both amazing
They have some good songs. One of my faves is break stuff. This song always pumps me up...lol you will love it.
"its odd" that legit made me lol. Check out their other stuff, its a little less screamy. They definitely have some more rap-ish songs.
It's Bizkit!!! Roll with it!!!!
This album is unreal great!
You guys are a crack up! Keep checking out Limp Bizkit. Lots of great music.
If you going to do covers, you have to do Faith No More covering “Easy”, originally done by The Commodores.
Plus, Limp Bizkit wouldn't exist without FNM. They need a FNM deep dive in their lives for sure.
Rearranged, Break Stuff, Counterfeit 🖤
Fun Fact for you, Brad and Lex:
This song was a cover of a George Michael song
You guys are straight up Classic 😂😂😂✌😎
I can't stop watching your videos, I love your honesty on how you view music. I feel the beat more when I know the meaning and to watch you both work this out together connects with me. Its also Fun to watch younger generations explore the older generations and try to understand us lol. Thank you.
Banjo Rock. I'm in love.
The confused looks by the end have me laughing so hard! The first 10 seconds I was like "Oh, they haven't heard the original song have they?" lmao!
Limp B also did the opening theme song for Mission Impossible 2 lol.
This was the first song that put the band on the map. Their next album Significant Other was soooo good.
"My generation" is a must!
I remember going to see Korn at State Palace Theatre in New Orleans and Limp Bizkit was passing out demo tapes to everyone in line. They opened for Korn that night. Great show!
Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff, should be your first reaction of this band
Y’all limpin with the Bizkit.?! This was the
fourth Cd I bought!! Love it!!!!
love that you have jumped on the limp bizkit train. these 3 songs are some of their biggest hits that i would love to watch you react to. nookie, break stuff and my generation. with limp bizkit songs though you have to do the uncensored version or watch their rock am ring concert in germany, badass
Its been a long time but, Faith is one of their songs I wouldn't introduce the band with. Nookie, Rollin and Counterfeit I think would be more representative of what they were to my friends and I
Love this song. Love your channel! I'm a new subscriber!!!
Welcome to the couch gang! 🛋
React to some of their hits. To this day Limp Bizkit is in my top 3 favorite shows I've been to and I have seen 100 plus bands live. Good reaction .
Yes that was the singer from Korn.. Korn and Bizkit came out around the same time and had a LEGENDARY tour they put together called the "Family Values" tour.. This was like the rise of the fusion of Rap and Metal.. It ended up getting it's own genre name at the time "numetal" It was fucking glorious lol.. It was a whole ass vibe and feel and some really cool shit came out of it..
Was at that tour in Philly. Not a fan of them really but the whole show was great. Korn, Limp Bizkit, Ice Cube, Rammstein and Orgy.
Brad seems to enjoy having lyrics with meaning that he can break down, Lex seems to really like jams she can get down with, so I'm going to suggest you listen to Orphan Soul by Infected Rain, I think both of you will get what you like out of it.
This was a terrible song to introduce you to Limp Bizkit. It’s not even their song; it’s a cover. “Break Stuff” is STILL on my playlist and has a ton of cameos in the official MV). A lot of people hate on Limp Bizkit, but they were crushing it in the late 90s/early 2000s.
I’m going to go through my library and dig up a heavy, “hard core” suggestion for Lex. Careful what you ask for. 😁
Look up 1998 family values tour. I was at the Hollywood bowl and it was limp Bizkit, ice cube, Rammstein and Korn. To date one of the most iconic hard rock tour
This brought me back. We played this after every football game we ever played in HS. I had to tackle a boom box off a bench once because our DC decided "NO SWEARING" half way through the season, this song was playing, he walked into the locker room, I dived in a leap of FAAAIIIIITH to shut it down rather than run 3 miles extra the next day
Wow this is Old school!!! Love it
Lex needs to see Tina S. guitar cover of Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata”.
Or the dragon force cover
Omgggg i would love that 😍😍😍 i love Moonlight Sonata
I’ve suggested that also because Lex loves great musicians and I know Tina S. would blow her away.
As far as the Dragon Force cover, I’m assuming you mean Tina S. covering Through The Fire And Flames. That is a great cover, but personally I like the drum cover of the same song by a Japanese girl named Junna. Absolutely unbelievable! Check it out if you haven’t seen it.
This was from the Family Values Tour co-headlined by Korn, that's the reason Jonathan Davis and the rest of the band are in it.
Also in the late 90s Korn and Limp Bizkit toured together alot that is why they are friends. They have a song together called "All in the family" where the lead singers make fun of eachother which is pretty funny.
Thank you for that reaction! This was their breakout hit, so this was the first thing I heard. The fact that they made THAT out of a George Michael song instantly sold me. They fall in the Nu Metal genre. I played this entire CD ($3 Bill) until it wouldn't play anymore. Try Counterfeit for more in your face vibes.
I cant believe you open your can of Limp Bizkit with this song hahah! Rollin', break stuff, behind blue eyes, Nookie.. There are so many bangers! Oh and N 2 gether now ft. Method man! Amazing song! It's a hiphop song :D
continue down the rabbit hole it gets Much better
Korn started their own label and Limp Bizkit was one of the first bands they signed.
Fun fact : Wes Borland (the guitarist left the band) They held a guitar competition in all major guitar centers in the US. I was one of those people that tried out in Queens NY, MTV was there and you played for 40 seconds in front of the band and that was it. There were over 300 people there I was number 311. It was a crazy time and Fred Durst is not a nice dude.
There were 2 lines, one for the contenstants and one for people that wanted autographs. He had a bunch of young girls show up in front of his bus and left with them. Not signing any autographs but the rest of the band stayed there and did.
Their DJ. DJ Lethal was also in House of Pain.
Check out "Counterfeit" by Limp Bizkit
And "put ya head out" by House of Pain
OMFG just say on your list of Reactions an had to Watch it!! hahahaha at first reaction in the beginning as this is a remake with a Limp Bizkit mix!! plz plz plz Do More Limp Bizkit!! Thay are a "Staple" of Amazing 90s Rock!! =))
My first concert was limp bizkit featuring method man and red man and system of a down was the opener in Peoria IL back in the late 90’s. Now i officially feel old
LOL I remember going to his concert and meeting him..had a beer with him and asked him what a "nookie" was (another song of his), I was only 15 (lied about my age though lol, had to be 16) He's super sweet, I immediately had a crush (because I wasn't planning to meet him!) and that album cover of theirs at the end? I painted on my whole bedroom wall with oil paints the day after lol
Lol I used to draw there album covers to, seen them in Jville they would get lit one of my favorites
@@southernway8132 Nice!
"I don't know whats going on"... Rock royalty thats what you're witnessing 🙂
Crazy thing is Limp Bizket was the biggest thing going from 1997-2000 in rock. Check out live at Woodstock 99. They caused a riot.
Love this jam, you gotta have faith, and show em what you got 🤙🏼💯
And Lex was correct. Jonathan Davis, lead singer of Korn was the one who kissed Fred Durst (Singer of Limp Bizkit)! Great catch Lex!!
Also I suggest counterfeit as a limp bizkit song. I know more views here matter but based on what I've seen i think you appreciate a song for what it is. Break stuff is great but please listen to anything from their first album
It's funny how accurate you are. Even little things like being reminded of Nsync. Carson Daly was constantly forced to introduce Limp bizkit, korn, eminem along side Nsync, back street boys, britney, christina on TRL.
Mudvayne and Slipknot in the top ten? Yeah we did that. 🤘
The faces lol is exactly what I except. Definitely try break stuff, behind blue eyes. They are definitely odd as you can tell but they've got groove.
We need more limp bizkit reactions.!!! Yes that was Jon Davis from lorn. They used to tour a lot together.
“All in the family” Korn ft Fred Durst (Limp Buzkit)
hell yeah
Still probably my favorite limp bizkit song
Limp's breakthrough song!!! Need to check out more!!! Results may vary album!
This is a cover song done totally in Limp Bizkit's music style. They have various different songs that have a lot of variation as they were the start of a different music genere. You two need to check out Methods of Mayhem which had Limp's lead singer in it along with Snoop Dogg and Little Kim. This was the heyday for bands like Korn that were mixing rap with rock.
Boiler, My Generation, and Livin It Up are some of my favorites
#PleaseDoThisReaction
Everyone has already pointed out that this is a cover.... but what I haven't seen anyone mention is that they also covered Metallica's #Sanitarium, which is rather surprising considering how much you seem to like Metallica. There was this tribute show of sorts on MTV back in 2003 where a bunch of bands covered Metallica songs LIVE in front of Metallica. Other performances were Korn (covering One), Avril Lavigne (covering Fuel) and Sum 41 (doing a medley of songs)... all were epic! There will be 'haters'... but they all killed it and Metallica thought so too, you can see it on their faces in the audience.
Limp Bizkit's Sanitarium cover was done different, done in LB's style, which is how all covers should be done. It got pretty lit, and you can see Lars and Kirk (from Metallica) get up out of their seats in appreciation during the breakdown.... camera keeps panning to Kirk and he was feeling it hard. Hater's can say what they want about Fred Durst but he's a performer and he knows how to hype up a crowd! He literally hyped up Lars and Kirk to their own song. lol
Sanitarium is one of Metallica's best and more popular songs, it's off of Master of Puppets, their 3rd album. It would be awesome if you could #react to both the original and the Limp Bizkit live cover in the same video. There is no official music video for the original, as Metallica didn't make a music video until their 4th album, which was for One. You should do the live version from Seattle '99.
Metallica - Welcome Home (Sanitarium) (Live Seattle 1989 (HD) --> ruclips.net/video/Lqee-u7Uq2I/видео.html&ab_channel=heavymetalheavymetal
Limp Bizkit - Welcome Home Sanitarium (Metallica Cover) [M.T.V. Icon 2003] *AAC Remastered ---> ruclips.net/video/Wwwna-Gx7Mc/видео.html&ab_channel=heavymetalheavymetal
Fun fact: I got to see Limp Bizkit perform Sanitarium live on Metallica's Summer Sanitarium tour back in 2000, or maybe 2001, I went to over 100 concerts those 2 years so it's a little blurry. lol Front and center as I always was... it was lit!
Good catch Lexi, that was Jonathan from KoRN
Listened to this alot with friends skateboarding and hanging in parking lots in the 90s. Definitely has that vibe to me
