Thank you again for your walkabouts!!. Wow Mokpo is a time warp- Like an older city still stuck in the 80"s. I actually like it. It looks less sterile, more interesting, plus surrounded by mountains and water !! From what I see in your video, it shows classic brick , stone architecture which are presumably the remains of the Japanese occupation and post industrial era. Sadly i read it's population is now in decline.
It's old town, so it kept the mood of 80s. the declining of the population is hugh problem of most small cities far from Seoul. Even big cities lake Busan too.
Thank you for taking us through this charming place again in the daytime... miss the flickering lights of the harbour, but found other pretty spots to delight in!

저기는 구도심을 완전히 보존하기로 사실상 결정이 나서 더이상 개발은 안될겁니다. 외곽에 신도시 개발하고 있기는 한데 구도심 개발은 계속 밀리고 외곽 신도심 개발만 계속 허가나고 있는 상황이여서 구도심은 그냥 유지보수정도로 이어질 것 같네요. 저런 옛날모습이 있는 것도 나쁘지 않죠.

Small Korean towns are so peaceful. I miss them. Try to do a walk in Iksan or Miryang, please. I lived in those towns for one year each.
