15 Min Full Body Daily Stretch for Tight Muscles, Soreness & Flexibility

  • When you are sore, tired and just want to rest, its most likely the best idea for your body! Getting a stretch in can help you speed up your recovery process and help your muscles elongate so that when you are working out you are getting proper (and full) range of motion in your exercises
    Stretching daily can also be a form of self care and can help increase mobility and decrease back, knee, and shoulder pain.
    If you are experiencing intense pain, that is not normal, please consult your doctor or physiotherapist before proceeding with exercise or even stretches.
    During todays stretch, I want you to focus on breathing in confidence and breathing out doubt. Take nice deep breaths, and take your time with the stretches. This is a moment for you to recollect your thoughts, enjoy the music, and give your body the love it deserves.
    If you have the extra time to do this before bed or first thing when you wake up in the morning, you will for see a noticeable difference in your energy levels, in your recovery time, and the effectiveness of your workouts!

    I saved this video about a month ago when I had a bit of pain but didn’t attempt it. I started the gym today and decided to do this stretch. I was slightly worried it wasn’t beginner or fat person friendly but decided to do it and skip anyone that felt too difficult.
    15mins later and I’m happy to say I did it and only skipped two as I wasn’t flexible enough for them.
    If you’re like me and worried it might be too much for you, just give it a go, do as much as you can and remember to smile and pace yourself. You’ve got this!

    Today was my first day doing your videos. Can I just say *especially* as a woman it was so refreshing to watch someone REAL workout. I loved seeing that you had to adjust your clothes occasionally, got off rhythm once and weren't doing every single rep perfectly. Other fitness videos always say you don't have to be perfect and then the instructor has a rock hard jiggle free body and never misses a beat. Thank you and I hope I can keep up with your weekly routines 😊

    36 yrs old, I do this daily along with your mobility stretches, for anti-aging, 25 min total daily, and now I'm hooked on stretching and I'm lucky to have met you on RUclips. Life-changing. We all use it (our bodies) or lose it (our health). Thank you for being an inspiration. 💜

    Accountability check!
    Day 1: 2 mile arms and abs
    Day 2: 3 mile cardio dance
    Day 3: morning metabolism boost (only managed 20 minutes but 20 more than I would've done anyway)
    Day 4: 35 min sweaty leg cardio (felt so energised with this one!)
    Day 5 & 6: Uni exams 😢
    Day 7: cardio for beginners. I couldn't just do that one. I've had 2 days without workouts so I've also done Day 1 full body cardio weights
    Day 8: Day 2 leg day cardio weights and core. I really struggled today, a lot of negativity around me but I did it 🎉💪
    Day 9: FAST 3 mile dance party
    Day 10: 20 min standing toned arms workout (this one 💀 me!)
    Day 11: 15 min full body stretch - was feeling sore and needed something easy this morning. Feeling a lot better now! ❤

    I stretch daily due to tight muscles, spasms and joint pain . I’m going to implement this to my routine as I like how it targets the whole body! Thank you 😊. P.S your workouts have been truly a blessing I’m back being physical and active , less pain and sleep better , not to mention my mood is so much better!!

    Hi Jo... I've been doing workout with your video from 25 Jan 2022 till now , in the morning and afternoon. I lost 3,5 kgs. From 62,5 kgs to 59,5 kgs. Well I did diet too... No white rice, no white sugar, no oil, no gluten flour, no milk and its derivatives. Thanks a ton! ❤️❤️

    It’s been a crazy week with two flights canceled to head back home from vacation. It can be so challenging to workout while traveling, but grateful that the Holy Spirit spurred me on to workout and stretch today (definitely needed for the upcoming 14 hour flight).     I’ve been having some rough weeks, mentally. I’ve lost 28lbs since March to now in June. I somehow was self-motivated and was eating healthier with the occasional treat, working out and a lot of walking. But in these past 2 weeks I’ve lost my own motivation. I cried the whole time stretching with your video.
    I needed that good cry. I don’t cry! I felt good afterwards and even thought to myself wtf just happened! Thank you Jo for your vídeos. When I have no motivation and not doing so well mentally but know some physical activity is a must, I know that I can skim through your channel and find a good video. After this stretch I did a full body 20 minute work out and walked my treadmill for a a bit over 20 minutes. Gotta keep this going 💪

    Thank you Jo!! I was getting so discouraged because of my lack of flexibility. My legs are so so sore and I was having such a hard time just pushing through the soreness. I’m hoping that doing this routine consistently will help with those issues😊

    I always do a little cool down stretch after my workouts. But I love having a day for mobility and a day for stretching in my schedule. At least a longer session of both within every two weeks. I always feel so good after I don’t like stretching as much as mobility work, but I know it is good for me so I do it anyways. And you are right Jo I am able to perform better in my regular workouts now. And I am able to do my regular work better too I have to carry boxes all day for my job so it really helps with that too.

    So needed and right on time!
    I had no idea my lower back was so tight 😩 lying on the floor was painful. I adjusted that part and kept stretching.

    I used to do bedtime yoga stretches every night before bed, but I got out of the habit. Now I do a cooldown stretch after my morning workouts. Looking forward to adding another stretch video to my schedule!

    It's easy for me to forget how good stretching is. I haven't done much of it till the last few months. I'm trying to do better. The cool down periods in you workouts have been helping, also seeing stretch videos pop up in your RUclips schedule helps me to set aside time just for stretching.

    was doing one of your thirty min workouts and my thighs immediately starting aching at the 3 minute mark and i knew i probably should take it easier today, i was in PAIN! decided to do this stretch instead and give my muscles some time to relax before i do another workout. this is day 8 of doing your workouts jo and i've lost an inch off of all my measurements so far!

    I like this one a lot. After a workout with weighs or just after a warm up, it feels amazing. And it makes me feel calm (also a little sleepy) but very very calm. Like my thoughts don't rush like crazy in my head anymore. So thank you very much.
    Also I like to add something: I'm doing your workouts for a couple of weeks and I want to thank you. First my goal was to loose some weight (that is it still, but not my priority). I think it was after a few days or a week. My energylevel was BOOM! I could walk up the stairs, instead of the usual steps. It blow my mind. If I could achieve this, what will happen after a few weeks or months or even years. Also my mood changed, but in the very positive way. I think I smile a lot more? And my thinking also changed in the positive way (I still have sometimes really bad moods, but it's less).
    So thank you very much for changing my life in a VERY VERY GOOD way.
    Funny side note: If I don't want to workout on a day, I hear your voice in my head that says: You have to stay consistent.
    And then I'm like, come on you can do this.

    I don't stretch often and I really should. I love stretching especially the older I get, lol! My body definitely needs it more. Ideally, I would like to do some light stretches right after I wake up and before I go to bed.

    Good morning big sis. I only call you my big sis because I am so short. Sis, you can do it all. 👏 I am always so impressed with all these stretches and strategic moves that you come up with. I just finished working out to this one. Often, I push my self to to build my momentum and to stay fit. Today, I was pretty stiff and a bit sore. Thank you jo. 😊 your stretches, sore muscles completed me and it felt so good. I thank God all the time for you. I feel like I can share anything with you. I want to take the time out to say you are worthy, empowering, a mother, a child of God, self-confident, motorvating others, talentive and have so many hidden agendas underneath your layers. When God created you sis, he placed all these unknown talents that everyone has a opportunity to participate with you in. I am graceful to have your chanting us , wowing our hearts 💕 and becoming that advocate for those who are not able to speak for themselves. You shine brighter than the sun. I cherish every moment that I step foot on the mat. It gives me time to check -in with myself. Actively listening to my body and provide me with the energy that I never knew I had. Love the facial expressions. Humor is very needed in our world right now. Overall, this work out really stretched me emotionally, mentally and physcially in the most blissful way.     Hey Jo, i usually hardly comment on youtube but, I have to give credit to where its due. I was soo sore from a 3 day intense workout and i knew i needed a stretch day today.     20 min sweaty strength workout with household items and this workout. Stretching was much needed. Doing weight workout I noticed that my left side is weaker. Have to work on strengthing it.

    Hi Jo, hope you good ? I was wondering if you have some full body exercises or stretches for people suffering with knee pain, arthrose and some advice on how to avoid pain.. for the rest I do your morning workouts everyday and itsreally helpful, thanks.

    Loved this stretch. Chuffed I did it because a year ago (Aug/Sept 2021) my osteoarthritis was so bad I could not even get down or up off my knees, let alone cross my legs. I have improved with physio, acupuncture and osteo and slowly regaining strength. This is the perfect stretch for my days off from gentle workouts (cos that is all I can still manage right now). THANKS JO!

    I do this video at least twice a week now. I do Instacart for a living and it can be really hard on my body, physically, lifting all the time. This is such a low pressure and easy stretching video. Thank you so much for creating this! Such a help ❤️

    my mom got sick a few months ago and had to get surgery for it. we spent a lot of time in the hospital and because of that our fitness journey together had to come to a pause. this morning, she finally got the go signal from her doctor that she can workout again and we immediately went to your channel and started planning which ones to do especially those we have missed. after we finished one video, we were overjoyed, emotional and teary eyed. i hope i could tell you and explain properly how much your workouts and just your energy in general has helped so many people just like my mom and i. you’ve lifted our spirits so much and we immediately felt better after it. i don’t know how to thank you enough and i just needed to let you know this. thank you so so much for what you do.

    I love this video! I have some balance/coordination issues which usually make stretching and yoga routines frustrating for me but this one I can easily follow all the way through! My neck/shoulders/back definitely thank you. :)

    I just started doing your workouts and I really like them! I love that they aren't long because I dont feel overwhelmed to fit them into my daily schedule, but so good that I'm moving! This stretch video was exactly what I needed today! Pops and cracks felt so good! Haha thank you for sharing!

    I tried to do a workout and 10 mins into, I tweaked my back. I think my body was trying to tell me to take a rest day but I ignored it. I’m so glad I decided to do this instead. Not only did it feel great for my back, but my mood was calm and I felt confidence in myself afterwards. I will take stretching more seriously and do it more often

    I am sooooooo excited for this daily stretch! My body is more willing to do those activities that I want to do when they and flexible and mobile without pain. My results from my cardio and resistance training workouts are more successful when my muscles and joints are flexible and working at optimal levels. Jo, you always seem to know what I'm needing in my fitness journey! As always, much love and continue to be the amazing you!
