This is ... The Classiest ... ABBA member interview I have seen to date. Bjorn is (I suspect) a bit of a thinker and seemingly a peaceful man (forgive my presumptions), and here he is treated with dignity and kindness and I guess, a sense of reverence which permits us to feel we can see a little more deeply. I'm sure he too would have appreciated your decency throughout the interview. I know I did, very much. We were even treated to a little of his quick humor. I listen to Don't Shut Me Down everyday and I still get goosebumps. I am so fortunate to be able to witness and enjoy the return of ABBA.
I’m so incredibly happy they’re found peace with each other after all these years and bring a new album out. The songs are so meaningful seen what happened when they split up 40 years ago.
there was no peace to be found... they were always good friends
@@damothepianist maybe the last 2 decades, but after the couples divorce and the first years after they split as group they didn’t want to get together. It wasn’t all roses and sunshine.
@@jocasteleyn9890 Absolutely it was very difficult time and we can be so happy that after all these years they finally brought the Band Back together
@@jocasteleyn9890 they stayed on friendly terms after they split but it’s not the same being close friends in the sense of talking to each other regularly sharing day to day occurrences. I think they needed distance between them after the intensity of the ABBA EXPERIENCE and being married to each other too.
Yet I think that they were always DEEP friends they had deep friendships between them full of layers and complexity which enriched their lives anyway.and they knew they could count on each other. They had a DEEP love for each other.
@@lamdao1242 I think there was a time when they wouldn't have considered it friendship. When you listen to the lyrics of "don't shut me down" you get pictures of anger and frustration. For me, it makes it even more beautiful to overcome those kind of difficulties and to find back to each other again over time.
ABBA has never left us, always in our hearts and now back on the radio where they belong.
Thank you for the music ABBA
I've grown to appreciate ABBA and I'm glad you're back. Great vocals, lyrics and music, especially the piano. Coming back 40 years later... unbelievable!
What a great and beautiful interview! So much love, respect, knowledge and empathy coming from the interviewer, and of course from Bjorn speaking for ABBA as we know him and all of them! This are all presents for all of us inmidst of all wat is found within the songs of ABBA and of what constitutes the ABBA-sound: the verberating vibration of life when it breathes through every moment, circumstances and different episodes of it without getting stuck.
So happy to hear ABBA comeback together after 40 years... I pray and hope they put behind the past and never split again... ABBA; keep the love in yours herats, stick together and all be fine.........
"New ABBA songs can’t save the world but they are certainly restorative"
Micahel Idato - The Sydney Morning Herald.
That ABBA sound is still the same. Amazing! They are in their 70s and sound like where they left off at 1982! Thanks for making your fans who are in their 60s, 70s and 80s feel alive again, taking us back in time. With their avatars, long live ABBA!
this is the most amazing thing..I cannot believe I have the blessing to experience a new ABBA album. I've pre ordered mine and I am just so thankful..
Loved your statement...How True.
Wow... one of the best interviews I've seen.... brilliant questions and even better honest answers from Bjorn. Hadn't realised the impact their reunion would have on each of them never mind how it's affecting all the fans.... amazing....such joy for all 💞💞
Zane must have interviewed a million pop stars but he genuinely seems in awe here
check the one he did with Barbra Streisand a few weeks ago....
God bless these four talented people who've brought joy to so many, at different times in their lives.
What a wonderful gift to us fans! Thank you Björn, Benny, Annifrid and Agnetha!
I knew ABBA would give birth to something new... And it's not only about new fantastic songs. It's about new form of unbelievable transformation of past into present. It's a new form of being on the stage.
ABBA, you are great!
For all the abba fans that didn't make it to this point to be here for this monumental moment in history we love you and your not forgotten
LOVE LOVE LOVE ABBA! Can’t wait to hear their new album. Grew up singing and dancing to ABBA. They have the power to transport you back to happy days..!
This is such a great interview! The world is a better place today. Thank you ABBA.
Hello, how are you doing, thanks for the love and support.🕊❤️
"Typical metallic ABBA sound", love it. Never really even noticed, but if you listen to basically every harmony-driven hit by them, "metallic" is the best word to describe it.
So cool to hear him analyze that :)
We're alive at this amazing time
When I was a kid, ABBA albums were there on my shelf, right next to The Beatles (which is my #1 forever). Their music stuck with me till today.
We also are so grateful you did this..(me again). STILL the most tastefully performed interview. ✨
Heard don’t shut me down and made me cry it makes me so happy I love it welcome back ABBA you’ve been so missed
I can’t even express, the joy, I feel hearing the music they gave us!
Hello, how are you doing, thanks for the love and support.
Something happy in dark times. Thank you ABBA.
Hello, how are you doing, thanks for the love and support.🕊🕊
A truly wonderful interview...Honest, humble and sincere...Thank you...For going into the studio "To just see what happened." You all created pure magic.....Remarkable!! Thank you. Love from New Zealand. xx
I like the interviewer, perceptive and connected, a truly intelligent one that brings out the best from the person he is interviewing ☺️👍
One of my favorite Swedish pop bands since 1980-1981
Very good interview. I love when he said they started singing and there was that ABBA sound. He is absolutely right it is still there and sounds awesome. So glad they have decided to do more music hope it is just the beginning
Sorry that I do not know your name, but you are an incredibly, fantastic interviewer! Clear, concise, authentic, emotionally grounded with questions that really get to the core and heart of things. Thank you!
"Out came the sound of ABBA as though nothing had happened" ❤❤
Agreed, as though 40 years never passed. What a gift!
I’m so excited that ABBA are back and Benny and Bjorn are such charming gentleman
It's been an absolute privilege to be here as an adult fan this time, to watch and listen to everything new and to have grown up with so much ABBA . From Australia once more, love ❤ sincerely
Respect two ways here, both enjoying a great interview.
