Let mixture sit for 30 minutes and leave in hair overnight.
I left the mixture in for about 8 hours but feel free to leave it in for longer, for better results. Thanks so much for watching. This is permanent!

I tried the cinnamon last summer but I could never get it washed out all the way and it made my hair extremely dry. 😑 Chamomile tea and honey works really well and it conditions it. I usually let the tea bags sit in a bowl of water for 30 minutes and then add honey. Honey is a natural lightener as well.

I've heard of the honey and cinnamon recipe before but this method of preparation was new to me! I want to try it and see if it works better than any of the methods I've tried before because those haven't really worked for me... The light brown hair color looks cute. But I preferred the chocolate hair color you obtained from first trying this honey & cinnamon lightening technique. And I’m glad that you demonstrated how much lighter your hair can get by repeating this technique on your already lightened hair. Amazing! It seems like this method is more gentle and less drying on the hair than other DIY home products like lemon, or peroxide with baking soda. I’ve also heard that camomile tea will also lighten up your hair. Thanks so much for sharing!

it worked!!! I did it and I thought it didn't work because I didnt wash my hair in the morning after i put it in in the evening. But after i washed my hair yesterday i could see a difference, morely in the back of my hair cause I put more in there. I will definitely do it again!!! Thank you for the video,

I tried it on my hair tonight and it didn't touch my ends unfortunately. My hair is naturally almost black, but I dyed it black a couple of years ago for gray coverage. The top half of my hair is a lovely dark auburn and the bottom is still dark brown.
