problem with big box in small trunk is the area for the bass to come to the front... people sometime forget abot WHERE the sound pressure can travel back to the front when ity is squeezed around the som box so tight like that... smaller box with external round port can do alot more as the bass have the room to travel back to the front of the car around the box.

I really like that civic si I'm going to buy one soon I'm curious did you add anything to it or did it come that way? Also them level 4 recones are dope.
I added a number of things and it's a fully optioned si with the HFP package

What does your electrical look like? My lights are dimming on 343 watts. Big 3 get rid of that? Running a skar sdr 12 on a skar 800.1 box tune to 33hz. 134db at 50 hz.
You ever think about taking out and leaving out the 6x9's? Leave the covers on inside so you can't tell. It'd have to help increase!
I took out the factory sub already, still want the rear speakers tho.
@@JeepAndBass Yeah true that. Didn't know if it'd really make much but it'd increase. But yeah prob not worth the while for the mids and highs you'd be giving up.. Still be banging man nooooo doubt!!!!
I have made my 10th gen civic loud enough to flex roof front and rear window stupid loud and kept factory radio

@@dustinhoward4098 Yessir. I have 3 xs power lithium batteries and a 2 XS Power AGM's - charge at 14.5- dont see under 13.6. I have a 300 amp Brand X alternator and I hit a 151.3 recently wi th more testing

@@dustinhoward4098 My car is PCM controlled as well. Just hit up Brand X Electrical on facebook and tell them your car and engine size and they will give you options on size. Just choose what size and they custom make it for you. You could get a PCM bypass as well but I don't actually worry about it. My car does just fine
What level are these again? And what level were the other ones? I got mixed up when you were going over it. I tried listening to it like four times and still didn’t get it lol. I plan on getting two tens but I’m not sure what I want to get. This is just a little help towards my final decision. DC level 3 or 4’s or XL Elites Sundown Xv2 or Zv5. Which ever I get it will be 2 10’s. They seem to be loud enough for a every day system.
Sorry for the confusion! I pulled out a stock pair of Level 3's (dual 4 ohm) and installed a set of Level 3's with Level 4 parts (dual 2 ohm).
JeepAndBass gotcha 👍🏾. I like the way the level 3’s performed in your car. Never seen 10’s shake a front window like that before but then again I haven’t been in the sound system game in years. The set ups now a days are insane!!
