I wish Marvel would churn out these silver age runs quicker than they currently do. There's such a vast history, it's going to take forever to get them out, at this rate.

I wonder how DD will be collected around Frank Miller's run? There were gaps in between. Definitely want to add this one to my library.

Glad this is coming out. We need just one more omnibus to close the gap to the Miller omnibus.
I'd like a reprint of volume one because i sold the copy i had. They used the wrong glue and the binding snapped while reading it. I currently have the first 2 masterworks instead of the omnibus.
Thanks for your overview of this volume Omar. Raised on these stories, this collection tickles me right where I live. A fan of great art, any book with Colan/Palmer is worth the price.
I'll definitely be grabbing this. Just one more volume gets us past all six of the Essential collections I've been holding on to. And if they make it as large as this one, may bring us right to the edge of Frank Miller.
I love this era and this book is a must buy for me. I already have the Black Widow Omni and even though it will be some double dipping; this is to good to pass up.
Not sure if you are aware of UK band "The Teardrop Explodes" formed in 1978.
They got their name from a panel caption in Daredevil issue 77 pg17 which is in this omnibus.
hoping the collecting of 4 masterworks isn't a one time thing. Would be awesome to get some more thicc classic omnis

The 1st vol took me about 6 months to read as I found the mike Mugdock story a bore.
The 2nd vol hasn't been touched and have this one to arrive in the near future.
This is more my era of comics & am happy that Gene Colon work is now seeing the light of day.
I belive cpt 🇺🇸 & falcon was also a type of buddy cop team up. It a sort of making less popular or well known characters get better exposure than they would in the team up books of the day.

I’m in the exact same boat! It took me like 6 months to read Vol 1 and it normally takes me like a week or two to finish most omnibus. 😂 I finished Vol 2 around November and am in no hurry to get to Vol 2 and now I have Vol 3 on the way. 😅

Omar, maybe we can nudge Marvel to reprint the silver age volume one omni to coordinate with the release of the Born Again streamer on Disney +? I know they like to coordinate the timing of print and screen releases and we already had the Miller Omnis reprinted recently.

The Daredevil Omnibus vol 3 by Conway, Gerber, and Conlan looks so good to read. But I'm sticking with the Epic Collections even though Omnibuses are so tempting to collect.
I am going to get this Omni when I can i have to preorder some omnis but this is a beauty it gives me hope for Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze and Spiderwoman To know her is to fear her Jessica Drew classics and yes I believe marvel should do a reprint of Daredevil volume 1 but they are silent right now and it excites me because you never know what is in store next week. I can't wait for more announcements for 2025 collected editions lines for early years and original marvel years and classic superhero runs in the meantime MAKE MY MARVEL ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙌🏽🙏🏽

As I start reading Marvel for the first time I have been starting with the silver age with The Xmen, Avengers, and The Fantastic Four but after doing some research I just picked up Frank Millers Daredevil Omnibus. If I enjoy it though I may go back in time but I have heard Daredevil is one of the weakest Silver age comics. For someone who has read them... is this true?
Some parts of Silver Age DD seem like a training ground for John Romita, Gene Colan, Roy Thomas, Gerry Conway to learn the Marvel Method and apply what they learned more effectively to the A-list characters. That said, I skipped around the first volume reading the stories I was most interested in like the Wally Wood issues and the aforementioned Romita stories and while not on the level of Miller, they were pretty entertaining. Very wordy though. It seemed like Stan felt compelled to over-explain how a blind person could be doing what DD did.
Silver Age DD had lots of hit and misses, imo. I’d definitely give it a try though.

No. The only double-dipping issues are “Amazing Adventures” #1-8, and “Daredevil” #81.

I never understood why the Frank Miller's Daredevil Omnis are different. Is there a reason?
They were some of the earliest omnibuses and they didn’t really have a set format and were kinda winging it

Damnit! I have no more room and currently have x factor 1 and wolvie 4 on the ground next to my omnibus bookshelf! Wifey wants no more of them until I have a man cave haha peace omar! Love daredevil
Why do they always have to have dust covers? They are a hassel.
