Good video-when the battery’s removed does that require codes etc to reprogram the radio and other accessories?

On a 2010 the computerized systems are a lot less sophisticated. In this case the battery was dead do there was nothing to preserve.
If you want to preserve the settings and radio etc, you can use a backup power source on the jumper locations. The dealer has a special tool that connects to the ODBII port.
