My wall is just as educated as myself at this point. I've been teaching my wall since I was in elementary school. Lol
Calabaza 😂😂😂😂 I used every stuffed animal that I could find. 😂😂😂😂😂
I always revise looking in the mirror😂....is that weird?
I am in my late 40's and will be starting Nursing School as a second career in August 2017. Your videos have been so enlightening. I appreciate your suggestions, honesty and positive input. I look forward to your weekly videos. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule for us new students. This is so awesome and kind of you.
Jonette Kruk You have me so motivated,I am 38 and thought I was too old to start nursing,I am going into my second semester!
Congratulations! Keep going and don't look back. I think as we get older, we know what we really want and will do whatever it takes to accomplish these goals. We are definitely at an advantage with the gained wisdom and knowledge through the years!
NRSRCHD dude, 35 here. Study hard brotha! Nurse Bass is the man.
47 and finishing Pre requisites in the fall
Great advice!! I just graduated a week ago. Next step NCLEX. You really can't put a time limit on how to study nursing concepts. I myself had to read the information more than once in order to grasp it. By the way your ABG videos were a big help. Thank you for helping me make it through school with your videos and advice. You really should consider becoming a nursing instructor. You are that good. Thank you again!!!
I agree 100% Brad..I think mastery of each topic/concept is vital. Most students may feel (myself included) like we have a set amount of time to learn a vast amount of material..hence, studying the info to learn, master, and speak it outloud. Its the timeframe that may have a student feel as though they have SO much more material to cover, and that sometimes time is NOT on a nursing student's side!!!
So happy I found you 😩 I’m taking my hesi & am JUST now learning how to study . Thank you for this
This is helpful. I've been doing blocks of 1/2 hr with 10 min breaks. Totaling 3 hrs of study time. Questions/content from Saunders (content) and NCLEX style questions.
Really helpful. Especially about not moving forward until you master a subject. Never thought of that.
Thanks nurse bass I knew these things but hearing you say this is really going to help me:)
You look so handsome and restful since nursing school.....
Kimberly Rogers 😉
That's how i usually studied during my pre requisites. For anatomy and physiology there was so much slides and material that I would just quiz myself and ask myself multiple questions and then answer them. Repetition of doing that really gets that knowledge stuck in your mind. The goal is to simplify the information to the point where it's easy as 2+2=4. I recently got my acceptance email to the nursing program. And I'm excited to start learning already. Yet I'm also kind of scared because I've heard Nursing fundamentals has a lot of material. But I'm prepared to study for all it.
Thanks a lot. This helps me out mucho. I start nursing this summer, so I am learning as much as I can before it starts. Can wait to be a future murse .
I'm studying pre-reqs now. I've wanted to be a nurse for my entire life. I just discovered this channel from your collab with Ashley. Your videos are so helpful because they are specific to each course. Thank you for being a voice
Great stuff. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for giving me a real good way to go about looking at Intro to chemistry and Anatomy 1
I think I've discovered the new Morgan Freeman.... that voice tho'
Brandon J Aguirre 😉
Great advice! Thank you
You are all inspirations to me!! Been a cook/chef for over 31 years. Just finished prerequisites in May...start the nursing program in August...3 days before I turn 50!! Never too old to learn!! Decided to change careers after being my mom's caretaker for almost 10 years before she passed in 2017. She is my inspiration, motivation, and guiding light!! 😇🤗
And she will help carry you forward my friend
Thank you. I'm in nursing now, your video is very helpful. I love you.
Wow out of all your videos I have seen never noticed you have nice eyes Thanks for the tips hopefully I do it well in Jan
Thank you. For the advice. Any good reference material online for learning biology

No, I like your answer the most. You're tips are all truth and not 'sugary', keep it up bro!
Starting nursing school on Thursday. So damn nervous lol but your tips make me feel better for sure
hardest part is studying. Just make time every single day and you'll be good! :D
I have been surviving so far! 96 on my first funds test!!!
@@jillian5667 you're a nurse now.
this just helped me out A LOT!!!!
I will admit you are very very handsome and I just love your voice. You should seriously consider voice over work on a part time basis. You've got the voice!!!
Thank you I start school on Monday! So nervous!!!
I really like this answer because it’s all dependent on the person’s retention of information and application on questions
100% :D
I was wondering how many hours do you work as a new nurse? Could you make a video about how your expectations of working as a nurse were and the reality of it.
Please and thank you!
24 hours
Beast mode... GRINDING.. yeah. 💀 I say the intro every time 😂
Catina DeAnn Haha that’s awesome.
Nurse Bass your videos just stopped. How is everything going bro??
Thank you 😊😊😊
"Teach the wall!"😂 That's a great way of phrasing it! Personally, I find it more challenging to teach someone else before I've mastered a concept to where I'm comfortable talking about it. I teach a stuffed animal.
Could you tell me whether or not in your opinion would it be too much to take a A&P course with another course like Communication 101 or PSY 111? Really need to know what you think.
April June i think it all depends on what you think youre able to handle. Set aside the time to study and remain focused and youll be fine. All the best
I agree with what Stephanie said. It's certainly doable, but you definitely want to hone in and put the majority of your time and focus into A&P. :D
ARE YOU LISTENING!!!??
Good stuff
Hey brad could you put out some content on first assistant or a scrub tech thanks bro have a good one
As little as possible and I still graduated...word! LOL...💯💯💯
