    Great Video. I'm still doing my prerequisites for nursing and these are great tips. If I could add, Flashcards work very well. I too am a visual learner, and creating my own flashcards have helped me tremendously. Also, ear plugs. If I'm not listening to instrumental music, like you suggested, I study with earplugs in. I really liked when you said that you study one thing A-Z, then take a break, then move to the next thing. Thats how I approach it too. I'll take a half hour to hour break, depending on how much time I have. Drive around, make lunch, go on xbox live for a bit...just to rejuvenate myself for the next subject.

    • @NurseBass
      @NurseBass  8 лет назад +1

      +Lionel Thompson Yea, flashcards weren't actually my thing. But I have heard of TONS of people who do really well with flashcards. So yes, it's definitely dependent upon the individual. And YESSSSSSSSS, ear plugs are sometimes a must lol.

    I just want to thank you, all the advice in this ONE video is the advice that I've received from about 10 different people. There is definitely a system that works for the madness, if everyone is saying the same thing. Still I am terrified! I start an ADN program at the end of this month at one of the top ADN programs in CA. It's curriculum is know for being rigorous. And I've spent hours looking for advice. I stumbled upon your account and love that your videos are clear and concise. Avoiding the fluff! Wishing you much success in your career and channel.
