      +Holley Rojek update: have been binge watching your nursing videos the whole weekend 🙈
      also, video request - would you consider doing a nursing clinicals/school hair and makeup "tutorial"? Not so much a tutorial but more so guidelines on how to look cute while still looking professional and following hospital guidelines - I know that when we went through training, at least in the hospital I did my CNA clinicals at, we had to have our hair back, we couldn't wear distracting/over the top makeup, and we couldn't have long or painted nails - and my aesthetic otherwise is long, straightened hair, acrylic nails and a decent amount of liner and mascara, so I had a hard time working around those guidelines and still feeling cute

    Hey Holley! These videos have been super helpful! I am currently in a LPN program in a Minnesota, the school in particular that I attend has a Test category of 82% which killed me first semester.. my expected graduation date was actually this May, but unfortunately I finished one of my classes first semester with a 81.99% and had to retake it before moving forward, that being said I was not able to move on to the next semester with my fellow classmates. I start second semester on the 21st, I am soo nervous of failing again. These study tips will help alot! Do you know of any good nclex review books for the LPN program?

    I have a question for you regarding what you did for test review for the fundamentals course. Our school has given us the ATI books and I have purchased the Fundamentals Success Q&A book. Which is a better resource? There is a mountain of work and reading that we have done and to be honest I have no idea if ANY of it is sinking in.

    What are other subjects besides fundamentals that involve heavy critical thinking? I'm trying to improve because I start this fall >.

      Essentially all core nursing classes will require critical thinking!

    My parents want me to become a doctor but i want to become a nurse and have been so inspired by u
    Plz suggest what shall i do

      Suhana Siggdel do what u want. I had the same issue. My parents wanted me to be a doctor, so I did premed and majored in biology. I regret all the time I wasted. I'm in nursing school now and don't regret my choice. At the end of the day u can still do nursing and go the premed path. Pre med u can be any major u want as long as u take the required courses. Hope this helps!

    Did you solely switch over to just questions? I'm wondering how you would do about remembering the rationales.

    • @HolleyGabrielle
      @HolleyGabrielle  7 лет назад +2

      No I would look back at my notes and basics. I just used the questions to help me understand the content and the rationales were easy to remember for me because my mind works like that when I read test questions!
