I sold my other desk and some other things too which I didn't mention in the video but that helped pay for the stuff I did buy. I would either find free or cheap stuff to buy with the $30 and then resell for more and/or sell stuff you already own, and use that to then get other discounted things on FB Marketplace / Craiglist / Offerup / Ebay / etc...
