- Today I am sharing a vulnerable story but one I know I was looking for all over RUclips when I was going through this. I am sharing my experience with HPV in hopes to normalize talking about this among women, and releasing the shame that society places on this.

It’s actually pretty common guys! Don’t fear! Your not alone! Lots of people have it. They just don’t talk about it and or are just embarrassed! Don’t be be embarrassed! And don’t think that no one will ever want you again! You will be surprised! Lots of men actually don’t care. Men do not turn me down. They actually don’t even care! Most of them have never denied me or treated me differently. You’ll be fine! Trust in the process. Just think of it as a skin condition. Don’t think of it as anything else but a skin condition. Because that is wtf it is. Continue loving yourself. You will be fine. Just build your immune system. And for the Cancer part. Ive had that too! Just try to get into surgery as soon as possible and the follow up with paps and you'll be fine.

Omg my doctor just called me and told me I have it and idk what it is or what to do she said my cells are adnormal but not adnormal enough to seek any type of treatment yet
@@malinaaafatalities946 Hi lovely- okay soooo from my understanding THIS IS A GOOD SIGN. You are at a point that you can start to holistically treat this on your own. I would suggest strengthening your immune system and doing some lifestyle changes- ie, cutting out alcohol and anything that weakens your immune system. Also YOGA and movement are great medicine/ time in nature. You can also add supplements if thats what you feel called to do but the more you can focus on supporting your immunity the better- you might be able to reverse the cells on your own.

I have a appointment to get it looked at in a couple weeks and Im nervous but 4/5 adults have had some sort of strain of it. I understand the sadness and guilt disgust/shame and worry ness of this bc I’m super worried myself bc watching this video made me feel less alone. Everything will be okay!

Hi Girls, I found out I have hpv 16 in March 3 months I was waiting for colposcopy and the result came I dont have any abnormal cells ). I am taking curcumin, dim, green tea , turkey tail, ahcc, zero alkohol, zero sugar, work out 4 times per week. I believe I will be able to get rid of the virus totally in a few months. My gynecologist thinks that in my age (37 years ) its gonna stay with me and will be persistent. I dont agree with this as my immune system is quite strong as I dont get sick often ( once every few years, I ve never contracted covid). I believe healthy lifestyle is very important 😊
unfortunately, the tropicity of this virus is too high for the mucosa, I myself had an experience with a girl who was infected with the 16 stamp and it turned my life upside down.. in addition to cervical cancer, bladder cancer, penis cancer is also possible, but most of all I'm afraid for oropharyngeal cancer, yes and.. only HIV is worse than this virus:(
I regret that I did not know about HPV before the contact and was not vaccinated, all that remains for women is a pap test, an examination by a dentist and a gynecologist, and it does not depend on the "strength of immunity" whether you get infected or not, it's more about how long we can fight, because the mucous membrane of the mouth and cervix does not physically become keratinized so that the virus disappears with the "upper" layer

This was back in the 80's. Docs didn't tell me hardly anything about it. I was told to have a baby asap.

Hey love- I know I was like where did the comment go. I am so glad to hear you were able to have the procedure- that's helpful. I know there are so many emotions that come along with that though. In terms of the partner- the one at the time wasn't very supportive or kind :( So I hear you... Years later the new partnership shocked me when I told him and it showed me there are so many people out there that wouldn't ever think anything different of me. I was terrified to tell him but eventually, I knew it was something I needed to do for me. I wish that for you too- and I'm sure when you feel ready and intuitively know it's time you will. I’m glad I found your video because this past 3 days I noticed some warts on my perineum (I’m not really sure if it’s just a bump from cuts that I got from sexual intercourse with my 6 mons partner) but I got it exactly where the cuts healed so I am panicking rn and planning to get checked cause I’m thinking I have this HPV and I’m trying to talk to my partner about it because I never had sex for almost 2 years before him . I’m back . After a week of using Emuaidmax on my genital warts, I’m so glad and amazed that it really worked! It’s not that painful at first application it just had a little tingling sensation and maybe because when I first found out that I had some warts I put a quick action to it . Hi thank you. I have had HPV since 2009 and at first i had tiny bumbs that came in 2013. I went to the health dept and they told me it wa HPV i went thru all the std test and HIV. The papsmear was abnormal. I was ashamed aswell and just put it to the back of my mind. I had a flare up where the GW were angry so to speak and i had some removed it was painful. I then again put the back of my mind. Yes intamicy shut down. I felt nasty gross not worth shit. Recently i had a bad flare up and went to a dermatologist and i was crying in her office of shame and she did a biopsy and waiting on results now. They are a few more inflamed and sore to touch but im looking to get treatment hopefully. I wanted to say thank you for your story as me i am older and no one told me about nutriuon or relaxing and unfortunatly my stress level is about to rise since im going to nursing school in the fall.

What if you already have HPV and genital warts removed. Should you still get the Gardasil-9 Vaccine? Also is it also okay to have 1 shot it 2 shot would that be enough?
@@zleepyjan it’s up to you the odds of getting cancer as a male are low but for females it’s much higher and hpv cancers are the most curable if they are already removed I see no problem

Sort of my story I met this man I told him what happened the Pap smear came out abnormal and they think that it may be cervical cancer that’s what I thought the nurse said and the doctor told me no it’s not you do carry the virus but you don’t have nothing you just have to be checked every year I told my partner this and he dumped me over it I’ve been heartbroken over it because I really love the man I just don’t know what to do but I can still date I can still be intimate with people but I have to be careful and protected and the man just dumped me

I recently got diagnosed with hpv a week ago due to genital warts that appeared. I currently don’t see any males speaking up about it. I wish other men living with the diseas would speak about it and see how it’s all going. I’m scared and sad everyday really feeling lost. I only see women dealing with it mostly I don’t understand why are women more affected than men.
Hey lovely! Thank you for sharing this. I hear you. I know a few men who have also experienced this. It's that I think women are slightly more open to sharing. I could be wrong but that's just a guess. But what I can say is other men have told me they have experienced this too. AND the goodness is you can get rid of them and clear your body of the virus- just takes time. Sending you all the healing vibes in my heart
That's how I ended up here, no men are talking about it. Just got out of a toxic relationship where I was made fun of for it when she left.
As a male, I assume males wouldn't talk about it because they are not aware they have HPV. There is no way to test a male for HPV. Essentially, the only way to know is if they start to grow warts.
@@iamcourtburns Hi .. in 2020 I was HPV positive then in my pregnancy I was depressed because of this. Then in year 2021 I was HPV negative. Still I am in depression that it can become cancer in future if my immune system low. And virus can inactivate again. I am worrying about my husband and baby. Please reply me.

I got to know that I had HPV type 56 after changing doctors after 2 ivf miscarriages.. My previous ob-gyn of 3 freaking years did not bother to do pap smear which could have detected way earlier before we started our ivf journey.. I’m 24 this year and my husband is 32.. And I’m totally crushed.. Going in for Coloscopy tmrw and I’m so scared.. So thankful for your video!!
My understanding is having hpv does not usually affect the ivf process.

Meaning of this - “ Bowenoid papulosis is the most likely diagnosis, although the HPV test came back negative. Although the most prevalent subtypes that are tested for both high and low risk were negative, this does not imply that it is not caused by HPV

I just got the call yesterday that my cells were abnormal and that I'm positive for HPV. My bf and I have been with each other for 10 years, and I blame both of us really. I blame myself more because I feel like I should've pushed him to get tested years ago. Mind you, I've only been with him. I wonder if this has been dormant all this time and it came out after I got covid last summer. I, also, read that there are nonsexual ways to get it, but either way, I'm trying to keep my spirits up because I don't know what I feel anymore. I have my biopsy in 2 weeks, and I'm very much terrified.

@@jdudefun1755 According to the biopsy I had, she said that my cells are noncancerous thankfully, and that my body may get rid of the abnormal cells itself. I had to make a follow-up appointment, though, to go back in 6 months to make sure that's still the case. I can't remember how exactly she put it, but she said something like there are 3 or 4 stages (but she didn't necessarily say cancer), and if my cells show stage 1 or 2 then they'll do a procedure where they shave off the cells in the clinic. I can't remember what she said about 3 or 4. She probably said I would have to have a more invasive procedure or surgery.

It's kinda tricky because there are SO MANY different strains. I am free from the strain I had as I have surgery to support that process. That being said I could get another strain. 90% of the population has HPV- it's super common.

HPV - and especially High Risk HPV like 16 and 18 is not only responsible for cervical cancer. It is also associated to head and neck cancer, oral cavity (Michael Douglas had that) and its on the rise. If you have oral sex it can be past on as well. There is no testing, and unfortunatley there are no early signs (precancerous lesion). So if there is a slight chance of somone with hpv had oral sex, it might have been passed on that way. If so, you might want to ask your dentist, head and neck doctor for screening purposes once in a while. From what I konw is, that 90% of all HPV infections will be taken care of your immune system. Even though the virus most likely remains in your body for live time - like herpes. Unfortunatley 10% persist and can lead in some (rare) cases to further complications. All the best guys! Take care and get vaccinated.

I just got dignosed with HPV-1 with the reading index above < 1.2. I dont have any symptoms. And i consult my doc bout this and he said. Its very common. Sometimes its not bcz sexual transmitted. Hii ...... First of all loved the story .... I have a lovely bf from 1.5 years. He gets vold sores (oral herpes ) since he was 13 years old. I heard the hpv can also affect fhe mouth through kissing or oral s*x. And now i feel that i am definitely affected with oral hpv from my previous dates. But there is no test for oral hpv in medicine. My anxiety is on the roof . . . do u have any suggestions.

Since you just got diagnosed you need to buy AHCC and start taking mushroom supplements, alpha Lipoic acid has been studied as well, EGCG, increase B vitamins like folate, zinc vitamins c and d. Using salicylic acid solution day and night. it stings on application and leaves a white film on warts which is rough and scratch my labial lips and thighs at all time. 😔 So i have to keep my legs open. It hurts
Dry vitamin A you take for 30 days only. Can’t find it in regular health food stores but can find it on Swanson vitamins website or possibly even Amazon but it has to be Dry vitamin A and you take it with Vitamin E. The first time I was told about it I was 18 years old and had been suffering with plantar warts on my feet for a whole year. I learned about it from an older lady in her 70s and sure enough it worked but you have to take it for the full 30 days no more no less. It had been almost 30 years I’d been wart free and one showed up on the top of my foot. I did go to a Dr to have it removed and he told me even if he freezes it off it will come right back. I felt discouraged and then remembered the dry vitamin A. I looked it up on google and can’t find the info anywhere but I found the dry vitamin A on Swanson website and ordered it and sure enough it worked once again.
If it doesn’t fully get rid of all your warts after 30 days just be sure to take a break of about a month or two before giving yourself another round of 30 days because dry vitamin A can be toxic if you overdose

Can You recommend something that worked for you to get rid of the genital warts??????
I recommend cautery for warts. I had it done under anesthesia and it took me around a week to get cleared out. Removal took around 30min and after all you have to do take care of your wounds until your skin heals. Mine took 10 days but the timing can change between 1 to 2 weeks depending on your ummine system. Its been 3 months since i had it done and my skin is completely fine, no reaccuring/no scars etc. Warts are not that important trust me. Only thing you need to worry about is your cervix. Take a pap test to make sure. If your pap-smear comes positive the healing presedure might be more complex.
