When i was at the stage of not sitting still as a child, the Jimmy Neutron movie was the only way i would stay put so it still holds a place in my heart
I know this comment might not get to you, but this is kind of a fun fact to know. Big Sky the company that made this game and the Spongebob Flying Dutchman game of course went under a lot of money and timing issues. A lot of people remember the rumor of the Spongebob game and how a glitch in the ps2 version led to people losing their save file, which resulted in death threats being sent to the company and them going under. But if you watched WHO NEEDS NORMAL? video on the game talks about the people working on the game. They went through hell to get that game out, laying off half the staff due to money, getting paychecks late, a parent company involved in shady practices, limited time and budget, and THQ blacklisting them. Its a great video for those interested into the developement of these kinds of games. This mostly applies to Spongebob, but also affected Jimmy Neutron. Does not excuse the poor quality. But It does show that sometimes people do care about making a good game, but can get screwed over in the process. Also great video as alway.
@@MASTEROFEVIL Nah, Johnny Quasar and Goddard were originally created for a short demo film showing off the software used to animate it. It was more like a clip than even a short film, actually.

Well the game is not as good as I remembered but it definitly looks as fun as I remembered.
I had Negatron as a kid, it was soooo damn strange. It's kind of reminiscent of the PC version of the movie game, but it's also kind of a third person shooter. I remember the disc also had some demos for other Nickelodeon games, so that'll make for a nice little bit of retro PC game nostalgia. Lookin forward to your video!
11:05 If I remember correctly, the manual is usually finished before the game. You'll usually find a few inconsistencies in most old manuals. It's possible that they meant to have Rob Paulsen be a VA, but for whatever reason, he wasn't available, and they needed a backup. And they probably already printed the manuals before this change occured.

The Pizza is Aggressive. Also I remember watching Nicktoons more than the main Nickelodeon channel.
I discovered Nicktoons back when it was the haven for the old Nickelodeon cartoons when I was sick and had nothing to drink but Gatorade. That was a good memory.
Nickelodeon used to spam SpongeBob on the main channel in the 2000s meanwhile Nicktoons would go from Avatar to Teenage Robot to Barnyard in the same day
Just one day in the life of Jimmy Nootron
I'M pretty much sure that the aggressive pizza meme could be inspired by that 1 episode where there was a demon pizza at their sleepover.
This review can handle the neutron style.
See ya later Nick o rama
I've got nothing but hype for this series, not because I played the games or anything, I just really enjoyed the series growing up.
"I have a feeling this will be the toughest area yet!"
"This is the easiest area yet."
Never saw this show growing up but that's not gonna stop me from watching.
Now this is what I call a “Brain Blast”
I know one Jimmy Neutron game has the same engine as Spongebob: Revenge of the Flying Dutchman, and that's about it.
So, when will you review the Nicktoons Unite games?
EDIT: Oh, that game is THIS game. Oh boy.
_Flying Dutchman_ was actually decent. Once you figure out how to avoid the game crashing horribly, it's a fun romp.
@@DoctorInk20 I haven’t played it, but have seen video footage. The music is rather bland. But I like your different opinion.
@@DoswarePictures The problem is that the music is based on what costume (basically weapons) SpongeBob was currently wearing, so you're definitely sure to hear the music over and over again, especially since 100% the collectibles of each area is REQUIRED to progress.
@@spongebobfan78 yeah, I’d rather have the volume down and play Friends or another show on separate screen.
@@DoswarePictures Thank you.
The music's not bad in and of itself, it just short-loops like mad. That and there's not many tracks. A lot of them are dictated by costumes you can wear, but a few are actually part of the levels. The _Chum World_ theme is probably my favourite; being creepy circus music and all.
This was my era of Nickelodeon. 2000's were the best times of the network.
I don't to sound like a old man but I feel like it was the last good era of nick....Disney and Cartoon network blow Nick in the dust durring the 2010s

The quality of your videos has been supreme for the last 6 years. That's extremely rare bro. Keep it up!
Jimmy got a brain blast when he went to the r/braincel subreddit
He's a Sub-8 Male
Jimmy is the type of person who would talk shit about the people on that sub while COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS to the fact that he is exactly like the people on that sub.
Hey Jim, you wanna join antifa
"No, Jimmy take the red pill! I love the red pill!"
"the MRA's the only way to go"
I love how nearly everyone here got the reference.
I've been trying to find what game I played a lot when I was younger and enjoyed a lot and it was the pc Jimmy Neutron game!! I spent a lot of time just exploring around and it was just so much fun! :)
Bruv, remember Bulby quoting Hamlet with this deep sexy voice.
I'm still convinced Bulby is some kind of interdimensional being of mass power disguised as a foreign boy
"I'm ... likely to review something stupid like the Jimmy Neutron game." - Nitro Rad in crash Bandicoot 4.
He said this would happen.
Last couple years, I literally just sat down and watched this and Danny Phantom for the entire summer. Totally worth it XD
Darn it he didn't include the best scene when Cindy gets abducted by the aliens and complains about women
I don't remember if that actually happened in the show, but honestly Jimmy Neutron is one of those shows where anything sounds like something that happened.
@@Calvin_Coolage It wasn't in the show, it was only in a cutscene in the pc version
Jimmy: Sydney It's Great To Hear That You Mastered Your Spelling Words But I Need To Rescue Carl From Space
Sydney: My Therapist Worried Me About You Jimmy There Are No Such Things As Aliens

Sydney:Oh No There Taking Me. Hurry Jimmy Neutron Your Our Only Hope
Jimmy: ...Women
It’s 2024 and it’s time for another Nitro Rad Jimmy Neutron Marathon 😂. Seriously these videos are just comforting to watch.
The PC version is a childhood fav of mine. The empty atmosphere of the game is kinda creepy looking back but ill always remember running around doing nothing. Like most childhood favs
Oh man, now I feel bad because probably all comments will be memories with Jimmy Neutron and the only thing I remember about it is that it exists... well, that and the Fairly Oddparents crossover, and the sodium chloride meme
Oh right, that was a meme.
Patrick Stewart will act for you for half a sandwich, so it's not so impossible for them to get him.
Was gonna say, is there anything he DOES say No to?
Sadly he did not return to voice goobot in the show
@@Green-Raccoon777 what does that mean
@@millerkarageanes1562 He made a VERY short cameo where he voiced the Emperor in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. He's entire role was to drop exposition, and then immediately get assassinated.
@@Guymanbot97 that is kinda funny
I'll say that the story of Big Sky Interactive is FAR more interesting than the games they made. I'd recommend Who Needs Normal?'s video on Revenge of the Flying Dutchman, as it's both a great video on the game itself, but also the studio behind it.
Been not watching Nitro lately, mostly because I kind of forgot you exist, but it’s really great to see you’re still here. Keep on keeping on my man!
"You have really good eyesight." I still lose my shit to this day.
When I was a kid, a commercial for this game was on my VHS copy of the Jimmy Neutron movie. I recall wanting it really badly, but just couldn’t find it.
Thanks for letting me vicariously experience this game several years later.
4:24 I recognise that sound anywhere. Solid edit.
What is it?
@@DoswarePictures It's a sound effect from Outer Wilds use for the scout launcher.
Other than Spongebob, Jimmy Neutron was my FAVORITE Nickelodeon show back then. I remember LOVING the movie, and the show. Now obviously I was more into the yellow sponge that is drilled into our brain cells at this point, but Jimmy Neutron was always my close second as a kid...
This right here is why I love Nitrorad, I love nothing more than a youtuber talking about something they are genuinely extremely passionate about! I find that that passion almost always pays off in great videos and infectious enthusiasm!
I feel I should clarify im referring to his passion for Jimmy Neutron not these games lol
Your Scaler review was how I found you in the first place - both it and the Jimmy Neutron PS2 games give me a kind of nostalgia that no one I've met has ever shared.
I cannot begin to tell how excited I am to hear you talk about Attack of the Twonkies!
When i was at the stage of not sitting still as a child, the Jimmy Neutron movie was the only way i would stay put so it still holds a place in my heart
2:17 Might explain why a crossover made sense for them.
Jimmy is the epitome of high intelligence, low wisdom
yeah which makes him hilarious.
God I remember playing the demo on my grandpas pc. Probably subconsciously got me into pc gaming. Miss you popop
We can all thank Debi Derryberry for making our childhoods since she's known for voicing Jimmy Neutron and Coco Bandicoot
Now I know her for starring in both Glitter Forces
Also she voiced Zach from ZachBell
The best line to this day from this show is, “ the day I sat on a banana, that was the best day of my life” ......wow
The PC version of this game is actually haunted, I think.
Oh boy it’s Jimmy time! Cmon sing it! 🎶Jimmy Jimmy thats the voice I hear inside🎵

me: looks like you're getting sent to the shadow realm jimbo
I remember playing this on PS2, suffice to say I've been waiting for this one.
Also great video as alway.
let it be known that the outer wilds scout sound effect did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated
Fun fact: Jimmy Neutron was born way back in 1997, 4 years before the movie, and his name was originally Johnny Quasar.
But Goddard was Goddard from the start.
You've seen the beta pilot too?
@@MASTEROFEVIL Nah, Johnny Quasar and Goddard were originally created for a short demo film showing off the software used to animate it. It was more like a clip than even a short film, actually.
Correction: It was actually between 1994 and 1995
12:30 For context, that's the girl-eating plant that's already shown to only be aggresive to girls at the start of the movie. It attacking Jimmy makes no sense.
Okay poindexters we gonna learn about JiMmY nEuTrOn
When you mentioned Jimmy neutron gba games, that reminded me, nicktoons unite for the gba legit feels like a flash game
Jimmy Neutron was one of my favorite Nickelodeon shows growing up, even the crossovers between Fairly OddParents were cool
Im so happy to see you enjoyed your time with the PC version even though its broken as hell! Its a big childhood game for me and youre right, I do have a ton of fond memories. That game actually gave me a deepset nostalgia for objects that are just still images that always face the camera.
Seeing your game reviews gives me nostalgia of waking up Saturday morning and watching cartoons as a kid. Love your content, Nitro-
the PC game creeped me out as a kid; it had this eerie vibe to it that is difficult to explain....
I think it's the uncanny models and the lack of NPCs throughout the town
I'm pleasantly surprised he reacted so positively to the PC game. I played it all the time as a kid and years after the fact I never revisited, making me assume that it was mediocre like the ps2 one. I really appreciate how optimistic Nitro Rad is with his reviews.
Wow that takes me back in time so much, I had the pc version and I did remember it as a good game, no wonder why. I remember getting stuck at the begining because i couldn't understand the controls but after replaying it I suddenly understood and spent hours playing the game, I didn't knew where i was going i was just enjoying the open world. Well the game is not as good as I remembered but it definitly looks as fun as I remembered.
Thanks Nitro Rad. You always put so much passion and love into each video.
I completely forgot I played the pc version as a kid until you started showing in game footage. What a great flood of memories. Awesome video!
There's only one thing I remember from the PC game: The poorly edited "I need more CAAAAANDY-" line where the "C" is cut off.
No wonder why they didn't get debi to voice it fully rather than take the "caaandy" line from "Mmmmmmm, caaaandy barrrr"
Jimmy Neutron has always been one of my favourite shows growing up and still gets me chuckling. I grew up with a gamecube and a ton of tie-in games, so these will alway have a place in my heart. Glad someone is doing this task, keep up the good work and have a nice day.
"We heard some noises coming from the human boy, Jimmy Neutron" Sounds so fugin weird
Not from earth, or the area but from Jimmy himself like hes a military base
Interesting tid bit: Only the GBA Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius game released when the movie was still in theaters. The console port was released a full year after the movie, missing the Dvd release as well.
Thanks Factor5.....
