Will you come with me? Won't you come with me? There's no better place to take a long strange trip with the Grateful Dead than right here. We've got music from every single studio album and a bevy of live albums, to boot. There are celebrated live performances from the 70s and 80s and official videos with more skeletons than you can shake your bones at, an exclusive seaside series on what's to come from the band's rich catalog and details on meet-ups all across the promised land. If it's community you’re after, try your hand at our yearly DEAD COVERS PROJECT competition and connect with fellow Dead Heads around the world. Heck, keep your eyes peeled you might even catch a glimpse of Pigpen on keys, Jerry in a GROOVE, Bobby tellin' tales, Mickey talkin' space, Phil and friends, Bill on the beach, or anyone from our extended family.

It's all happenin' right here. Subscribe and you won't miss a thing.

After a brief sojourn to other artists and genres I was wrestled back to my roots thanks to a local bar that has booked GD cover bands. It went by a few weeks ago and was reaffirmed and renewed. Reaffirmed by the wonderfully kind and spiritual fans who came out to enjoy community, friendship, and the music. I didn't realize how much I missed the uncomplicated, loving and unassuming nature of the people who miss live music in general and the Grateful Dead in particular. I reconnected with old friends, met new one and discovered 'closet' fans I would have never expected. As always, no shortage of surprises among a generous crowd. It saved me from myself.

My first show was a few nights following this show at Deer Creek. I went from a 16 year old metal head to a dead head over night. It was a baptism of the soul and forever changed the course of my life. I never made a 3 rivers show unfortunately. My wife went to the 95 show and invited me. Who knows... maybe if I would have said yes we would now have been married 28 years instead of 11.

I still remember it rotating on MTV like non-stop around this time. Friends who didn't know them wanted get to know them because of that video. Their resulting plunge into GD music was like a bottomless wellspring of good vibes, good times, and moments of spiritual enlightenment as the rest was, as they say, history ;) What a long strange trip it's been !! Great documentation of where the band was at during this time. Crazy Phil bombs all over the show. Great “Eyes” and “Terrapin.” Saddening, Mickey looks like he is going to cry while playing, trying not to look at Jerry because you can see his love almost crumbling through the beautiful rhythms. A really strong show and emotional to watch.

I've been practicing Silat and Escrima since 1993 and Taiji, Bagua and Xingyi since 2008. I like practicing slow twisting and circling steps with blades. It nourishes my brain and I circulate my chi to stay healthy and massage my internal organs to stay soft and limber.
The first thing I would teach someone is how to relax and root and circulate Qi. After relaxing, someone can learn basic Gong Fu!
    Ginseng
A river of life through eyes
    Seen blue skies and dream
    Each day’s scene
A shade of green from the leaves
    Beautiful blossoms
    So many herbs
    Spirits
Here you find a shining light
    So bright
I want to learn medicine. Give a good massage.

Saw a lot of this tour. Loved Inglewood. Jerry had the heart of a beast this show and most of the East Coast. Devil couldn't catch him. Even if the 😈 had a map.
