Hope it helps Авто/Мото
Thanks for the video and the information
Thanks for the video and the information, my problem was how to unclip the electrical connectors. On the Peugeot Partner diesel they are difficult to see and even harder to get at let alone figure out how they clip together.
Hello, thanks for the informative video and the time you took to make it. I have Peugeot 407 2.2 petrol, I have awful gas milage, secondary air injection problem (checked hoses changed the pump and diagnosed it fully) which I cant quiet figure out the problem and the only thing I didnt touch yet is upstream oxygen sensor. I bought one and Im thinking to replace it tomorrow. My question ; will I need Planet to reprogram this sensor or in anyway will I need it for this replacement? Ive read on internet somewhere that for downstream no need to do anything but for upstream you must use planet in order to have the car recognised of this replacement.
Thanks for the answer in advance!
thank for this vidéo

Hi. I have a Peugeot 307 sw 2002. I have a problem every winter. And when the temperature drops. The light of the machine works. When I check, I find that the oxygen sensor does not work. Sometimes the second sensor does not work or work incorrectly. I change it and buy an oxygen sensor number two new. But the engine light is working again. The problem is the oxygen sensor. This problem occurs only with me in winter. In the summer. Engine light disappears from work. Can you help me know the problem. Every winter I buy an oxygen sensor number two. But let them be worn again
Jakie miałeś objawy konieczne do wymiany sondy?
thanks man
Hi
How can I buy Lamda sensor for 307 petrol. What brand is good? Please guide me
Thanks
Thanks :)
You are welcome Bassam :)
Hi..reallygoodvideosenjoying yr channel.....i have a peugeut 307 2004..recently engine warning light came on ...dealer sats that it is a P0410 fault... They looked and see that airpump and valve could be faulty. They have quited me $ 1200 for parts abd 1 hr labour. I rekon i can source the parts cheaper and do it myself. Just need to find out where the airpump is located in the car! Is it a job i could do? Do u have a video on it? Also, the automatic transmission seems to be playing up a bit.. In mornings, after driving a short distance, dashbiard berps 3 times and then the "D" didappears and says automatic gear fault.. Thrn does not want to ho into top gear... I see it coukd be the solenoids on valve box need replacing snd pissibly new trandmission fluid. (csn i use nulon fully synthetic) .isthata job i could do also? Tgank you so much fir any help. I am going to subscribe👍
Hi D avid,
Thank you very much for kind words :)
Can you also let me know if this is a diesel or petrol engine and how big is the engine?
Cheers
Is It Fixed Yet ? Hi.. Its a petrol.. Think its a 2 ltr...i have now located air pump.. V easy... On left above altetnator... I am going to test it tmrw.. But i think its good... The plastic pipe running to valve (i think its egr valve or air intake check valve.. (?)on side of exhaust manifold) was split so i am going to replace the tube. I also took the valve itself off and cleaned it out...inside was black and also had degraded air filter (sponge) in. So trmw, once pump tested, i will try that and see if we have any sucess! Thanks
Hey D avid,
Cool, let me know how did it go ;)
Regarding the difficulty of the work I guess it is best for you to assess it yourself. It depends on how strong do you feel in the topic and how much patience do you have :)
I can drop small help video regarding manual transmission fluid change. There is also little part mentioned for the oil to be used on automatic transmissions:
ruclips.net/video/LiVvntmVtKc/видео.html
Cheers & good luck!
bravo
how do you know which one is broken?
Hey I fix it and thanks for ur videos..they really a good help to a guy like me.
I have a 307 sw 1.6 petrol from 2002. Im smelling fume in the car cabinet, especially when i start the car or when i drive in far. Any help will be gratitude. 😊
Hi Yassine,
Perhaps a worn gasket on the catalytic converter or a hole in front exhaust. Do you hear any noise when standing in front of the car when the engine is working? I mean noise lauder than usual. And lastly, have you changed your cabin air filter? :)
Cheers
@@isitfixedyet891 thanks for the reply. I don't hear any unusual noises. I had a mechanic look at it, and his diagnosis was that the issue coming from the oil dripping from the top engine gasket down to the exhausts, makes it smell. But i think that's not the case beause it would not smell when i first start the car, when the oil still cold. Cabinet filter changed 2 months ago. How would I know if it's the catalytic?and it hard to change the seals?
i have 307 it turns over but wont fire up it has no spark iv tryed another coil no luck
I have one question mine engone same as yours tu5jp4 is having a air blowing no smoke but it blows paper out of hand when it runs at idle it hasent had that when i bought it with 160.000km now it has 167.000 i did oil changed oil filter air filter spark plugs cleaned trothle boddy as you showed cleaned housing for air when i bought it should i worry about that air blow on oil cap on head
Hi Tex,
I need a bit more info :) Where is the air blow located?
Cheers
Is It Fixed Yet ? Top of the engine on the oil cap on top where you poor oil in when i open it while engine idle it blows air out of that hole but it is not normal air flow it is lika storm and when i place cap back but not screw it it dances lika on fire
Hi Tex,
If it does not blow oil out, it does not need to be so bad. If you are very concerned or if it blows very hard, you can check the compression at the pistons. Perhaps you might need to replace piston rings. It is also hard to say without looking at it ;)
I guess this is a diesel car? How much oil does it take?
Good luck! Let me know when you decide what to do. It is interesting to know.
Cheers
Is It Fixed Yet ? It uses 0 grams of oil and no blowing oil just air no smoke at all rpm is steady it is not diesel it is 1.6 petrol tu5jp4
Oh yes, you said that.... Sorry for missing it. hmm... I will check how is my hurricane blowing and let you know in few days. It does not necessarily mean something very bad.
Hi. Do you know if peugeot 1.6 hdi 110 hp is in the same place?
Hi Joel,
I have not seen 1.6 HDI, nonetheless I am pretty sure this is a bit different between diesel and petrol engine. The function is the same tough, so just follow your exhaust line ;)
Cheers!
when to change the sensors?
whats the syndromes that tells me to change it?
thanks in advance :)
Hi Bassam,
There are few symptoms.
Two most obvious:
- Error code stored in the car computer.
- Engine light on the dashboard
Other, not as obvious might be:
- High fuel consumption
- Engine chocking
- A lot of exhaust fumes not filtered by the catalytic converter
Hope it helps! :)
Cheers
Is It Fixed Yet ? Yes thats very helpful
Appreciate it
Thanks
Hi there, I'd never heard before about the O2 sensors and I know now thanks to your new video. You know? I've just realized there are lots of things to learn if we want to maintain our car in good conditions. On behalf of all Peugeot 307 owner and myself, I want to say many thanks. You got my LIKE!
my peugeot 207 show me i antipollution i think from this lambda
You must use high temperature paste when you place back the lambda
Copper grease should work fine, would have liked a bit of info on the deposits on the sensor tell you about the state of your engine
Just wondering if it OK just to change or service just one sensor ?
you remove that cover easy if you lift part that is closer 2 radiator up that is why cover was cut in midle , also dont use that fork wrench because you will not do anything with it , instead use ring wrench or special wrench for lambda removal . if you use ring wrench you need to cut wires so you can put wrench on . i know its old video but its better late then never .
Dear Admin, I would like to ask. is this sensor related to "antipollution faulty. thank's in advanced
Hi Oktavian,
Yes, but this fault might mean many things. Starting from low Eolys Fluid level, through turbine fault, low fuel pressure, faulty Lambda sensor, dirty Throttle and more. I would recommend you visit nearest workshop and connect PP2000 (Peugeot Planet software) to your car and read the errors. Error codes will tell you what is wrong. If you have PP2000 check this video on how to connect it: ruclips.net/video/nmLAOIYUgp4/видео.html
If you want to try cleaning the throttle see this one: ruclips.net/video/4WPGEkZC2Fw/видео.html.
Also like one person mentioned in the comments before:
"Thy the MAF sensor or the sensor's connection harness and also the PCV valve -that is the ventilation valve for the crankshaft."Hope it helps
Cheers
Thanks a lot
@@isitfixedyet891 hello mate.. I have peugeot 307, engine lights is on, and in the screen it says anti pollution fault.. Hope you could help me about it.. Thanks
Could the lambda oxygen sensor get damaged due to a oil leak from something like gasket seal?
Hi Steph,
You mean that the oil leaks on the sensor's outside body? Which gasket is it leaking from?
Cheers
