Whether sold cheap or expensive, they all come from China (this particular brand). And just the way lots of people complain that it is terrible from day one, others have never had issues with it. Truth is, lots of good and bad ones were manufactured and shipped at the same time. Those with the good ones will never understand what those with the bad ones are going through.
Just go & buy a different padlock 🔐 & if the shackle doesn’t fit through the holes drill the holes a bigger diameter. But i made my own pedal lock i welded one up out of stainless steel that is all one piece & it fits over my clutch & brake pedal & can’t be pushed to the side like you explained with the 2010 Corolla. I also made the 90degree feet that sit on the floor much wider than the ones on that model. I made mine 80mm wide & bought a quality padlock 🔐 from my local locksmith. It’s a bit cumbersome to fit especially at night but it’s definitely worth having it fitted as my expensive Nissan Patrol GU TD42TI coil cab ute & I’ve spent way to much money on 4x4 accessories to let some lowlife junkies easily steal it from my driveway. Cutting stainless steel with a battery 4-5inch grinder besides it being very loud & i’d hear it being cut & plus they would need 3-4 plus cutting discs as it’s made from 7mm thick stainless steel & it’s very awkward to cut down at the pedals & the padlock 🔐 is protected from cutting by a shroud. So it’s a real hassle for them besides my hidden switch that operates the injector pump the engine will turn over forever & not start. That barbed wire looks hectic 😳
So, you are saying, even the owner can't steel the car! Seems to work REALLY well! LOL.. Did you try lifting on the peddle while trying to turn the key? Maybe its the pressure of the peddle arm pushing on the locking pin? Take the pressure off and away you go... unlock may work? Just saying it would be common sense that it is the pressure. Maybe?
@RobMars13 sorry about that. This pedal lock is clearly not ideal for cars, someone in the comments even said I made a negative video about the best pedal lock in the world and that I must be a car thief making such a video
Hahahahahahaha.....the barbed wires are a regular in homes in my country and no they are not for car thieves. They are meant to prevent burglars and armed gangs who come out at night and want your laptop, phones and money against your will
@@nevharrison yes find size padlock wchich will match to this steel with holes and this will be ok too I think i just buy this but I want get new padlock high quality and this will be good
@user-vy6tb7ot6x the availability of an exact padlock that will fit into this pedal lock will depend on what country one is based in. You wouldn't find such for example in my country. I have searched for it all over, no luck
When you speak against the best paddle lock , you are a car lifter.
Funny you. This isn't any way close to the word best. It may look it, but not close
@@nevharrisonwhich is best, kindly recommend?
I have this anti theft pedal for two year now an thankfully it hasn't gave me trouble and I'm still using it, You probably got a really cheap made one

Will WD40 help?
I have no idea
Thank you, but you can put a regular long neck lock
I guess that's worth trying too
You are right, I am looking at this video because I can’t open it, now I don’t know what to do 😢
Just keep trying, it will eventually open up.
Last night I was trying to opened for an hour, I am going to to call lock smith to see if they can open it
Lock smith came and cut the lock,$142 from my pocket😢 never going to buy this type of lock again

You have to push the pin all the way in for it to lock.
Locking isn't really the problem with a faulty one, the problem is in opening it when it's locked
Bro is that barb wire along your wall.. holy sh#t where do you live...stay safe my guy, but car theft may be the........nevermind ..good day sir.
