my girlfriend and I broke up a few days before this album came out. Everything was reminding me of her at this time..songs, commercials, literally everything we had been through the past three years. These memories of her were painful and I hated having them, but this song changed that. This song reminded me of all the great times we had and the fact that we will always share them. Even if we're not together today, tomorrow, or ever we will always be in each others minds..and hopefully hearts.
ommigahhh! i found it! i've been searching for this song, and i didn't know the name of it, and i didn't know the lyrics so I couldn't type it in on google. here it is! i love this song. :)
i discovered mutemath when i randomly picked out this album at an opshop... holy shit what an awesome score ! they are one of my all time favourite bands now.. especially this song
You Dead-Ass, This is my favorite Band Since Paramore went south.... there Incredible and there sound cannot be duplicated. God is a Genius for bringing this band Alive ;)
So beautiful. It's such a fresh and uncharted genre. Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Ok Go, and 30 Seconds to Mars, too have been changing it up every album. It's good to see these and other artists do the same. Alt All the Way!
This is such an amazing song, I can't love it enough. I'm relistening to the whole album again and coming across this again is just too sweet. That build up is PERFECT.
just discovered this band the other night on itunes on my ipod b4 going to bed, fuckin wicked soundd, love both their heavier fast songs, and especially their slower songs like this one, I only wish there were a few more of them (slower ones) on the album though. After quickly scanning through this and their older albums on itunes, I have to say I like the sound of Odd Soul better than their older stuff,
MuteMath BEEN LISTENING TO YOU BOYS SINCE 6TH GRADE (I'm 21 now) Thanks for making my ears smile and my heart skip beats....:) l o v e y o u g u y s (the band with a song for every mood)
i wouldn't call these guys similar. i feel like i have to think too much to feel immersed in that music, whereas mutemath creates a place for your brain to chill
it seems to be a recurring theme, i was referred to this band originally back in like, idk, 2007 ish? their first album had just came out or at least been discovered by us and we had all been listening to them for a good week. then they came out with a teaser for armistice before armistice was armistice and i can remember falling in love with them all over again because they made an instrumental by using a drumstick a floor box and their bathroom!
Hey man, just wanted to say your a dude for putting this up. The albums amazing. Theyve done it again! Any of you fellow Mute Math lovers know if I will be able to pick this up in Uk CD stores?
I think love or hate the new album mutemath keeps pushing themselves to create new sounds... whether they fall short in their craft is up to the individual. You have to admire them for not just trying to recycle their sound cuz that is probably what will keep them creating new and fresh music for many more years to come
I see what you mean, but not really. U2 is good and all (I love the Joshua Tree), but they are nothing in camparison to Mutemath (talent-wise, because U2 is ridiculously famous).
yeah, they have kind of migrated towards a more radiohead like sound, except mutemath is fueled by ground up hipsters and counter-culturists and radiohead is fueled by drugs or booze or both.

brilliant rythm section as usual
This song blows my mind. It's incredible. MuteMath is my favorite band, and their creativity never ceases to amaze me!
Favorite song in the world right here
and this is why they remain as my favorite band who else can mix indie blues soul alternative jazz house all into one song!!
I remember seeing them 6 times in 2006 and I haven't since then.. gawh, I miss those guys. They are amazing performers and people.
Ok, so here I am, listening to ANOTHER MuteMath song, over and over.
the first time i heard this, i got teary eyed.. something about paul's voice on this one. god i'm so proud of these guys. so talented.
By far my favorite song on the album. It's absolutely amazing.
Instant favorite! Every song I hear from Mutemath is complete genius.
honestly this is the kind of mutemath i love, reminds me of the self-titled MM with a dash of armistice. the keys :D

Song's playing. Absolutely beautiful. Then the buildup hits. Absolutely God.
this sounds like a Bjork song called Domestica. I freaking love Mutemath. I would go to Mutemath universe and never return
i love the intro. and the middle. and the end.... and the whole thing... excepted when its over.

Luv this!!!
What genre would this song fall under? I wish Mutemath did more stuff like this because apparently, they're great at it.
0 dislikes is the way it will stay forever
Mutemath heard a Radiohead song called Idioteque, great ..
This song is, in all honesty, the best one I've heard from any modern artist. (Sorry, Vice Verses)
From 2:41 and on---I ALWAYS like these MuteMath instrumentals!!!
the beginning sounds like city of blinding lights by U2 right before the singing starts in that song
Hey man, just wanted to say your a dude for putting this up. The albums amazing. Theyve done it again! Any of you fellow Mute Math lovers know if I will be able to pick this up in Uk CD stores?
@inscribe9 you can try both hmv or amazon online. I'm in the uk too but I got the album digitally on iTunes. But try hmv and Mason like I said :)
From 2:42 the song reaches a whole new level of awesomeness.
It's alternative, Atleast that's what time warnercable counts it as.
great lyrics
god, i love this
@Bernardusaurus I personally like to list the genre as "MUTEMATH" on my iTunes
@inscribe9 im from ireland and i cant for the life of me find this album in any stores :(
This is... AMAZING!
(: Mutemath=A Happy Me :)
*mute* MATH! good band, good song.

@MrGorioR Yeah... that happens

I am apologizing --to-- Vice Verses, not correcting myself.
@ArthurCollier1 u cant just say someones opinion is wrong
@ArthurCollier1 Cause im the biggestfan=p
I see what you mean, but not really. U2 is good and all (I love the Joshua Tree), but they are nothing in camparison to Mutemath (talent-wise, because U2 is ridiculously famous).
any idea what are the chords?
yeah, they have kind of migrated towards a more radiohead like sound, except mutemath is fueled by ground up hipsters and counter-culturists and radiohead is fueled by drugs or booze or both.
@Theogenie I'd go with you
Well is Radiohead bad influenced by the drugs ?
I dont think so ^^
Oi.
3:47 just completely ruined the song for me.
though I admire this song a lot and is good stuff but I reckon they are not good at math.True mathematical musicians are TOOLS only.
god, this is love
