My dog died 8 weeks ago. Had to put her to sleep...Before she went away, I was playing Life is strange almost until the end. Today I managed to finish it, because it was so hard before, it reminded me of her... somehow this song describes my feeling the best.. and saying goodbye to Cloe reminded me when I had to say goodbye to my dog... curious coincident... beautiful song... As a Male that is 35 years old I never expected much from life is strange but I was shocked how deep the whole plot and narrative became, this song is paramount to the series and it always is effective, I don't know if there is another medium that I felt for more than Chloe Price, it's that good. What a powerful song.

After reading some comments, I’ve come to realize this song isn’t just a sad song for me. This song is one I listen to when I need to accept life moves on and nothing ever stays the same. I’ve moved states because of covid, jobs, schooling and other complications. Each time, I’ve had to face life head on and embrace my feelings. This song reminds me of those moments when you’re thinking of all the people and change coming your way. Maybe when you’re sitting in the airport, as you begin your next journey - or when your close ones have all moved away. Beautiful song. 10/5

I remember listening to this song during an extremely dark time, I felt so numb inside that I had to hurt myself and see the pain physically in order to still feel alive. As long as whatever I inflicted on myself was stronger than the suffering I felt inside, I knew I could survive. Interesting to see how different my outlook on life is while listening to the same song, just years later. Couldn't sacrifice Chloe on the first instance. I'd sacrifice a whole county if it meant she didn't have to die alone, thinking nobody loved her, in a dirty restroom for no real reason. (Especially after Before the Storm - god damn this girl went through hell a couple of times.) But I did play that ending as well. And it is brilliant. It broke my heart in half a minute. The greatest friendship I have ever seen. Finished BTS and LIS last week and I have been beaten over the head with emotions, still reeling trying to process the meaning, morality. I was lucky enough to play BTS before playing LIS even though I was aware LIS is where most of us started. I ignored this game for years because I was not in the head space to play and when I did mess around with it, I only journeyed a few mins into it, completely unaware what this story held and completely getting the wrong impression what I was in for after deciding to fully play. I decided to play in chronological order instead of release and that was a combo of pain back to back. The last set of games to grab a hold of my conscious this profoundly was Mass Effect 1-3 but LIS is in a whole other category because it's realistically relatable. We all know it's a game but after being immersed in a world where the characters feel like family, growing attached to their personalities is equally enjoyable as losing one. This song is a flurry of emotion bringing back that final scene we all know so well and dread wishing it could be changed one final time for the better and giving a girl some peace instead of sorrow. [[ Lol I love the bit about the past. Yes, welcome travelers from the past. ]]

@@IwhowasdatXD960 Very glad you can relate. I really wish there was some kind of advisory for first time players to play in Chronological order. Many people on Reddit for some reason advise against this but I think it is a must or at least a recommendation before playing. It doesn't take away or spoil anything and I personally find it adds more suspense. Deepens that mystery when going into Lis Original. I also played Captain Spirit before LIS2. Now if you like going into games blind and not knowing anything like myself, that might give away some slight things but it actually spoils nothing. If anything, it added more questions when loading into LIS2. The DLC for LIS TC will spoil that game for you a little bit story wise so I definitely suggest playing TC all the way through first. Wish I could play them all for the first time again. Looking forward to the next LIS game. Hopefully it drops soon!
@@xBloodXGusherx Yeah I would have to agree that it is better to play In order,at least for LiS and BTS because while I really enjoyed playing BTS,at the end I knew how things would inevitably end,but it was pretty cool seeing how characters like Victoria and Nathan were before LiS. Of course playing as Chloe was great too(Also good I didn’t have to see Jefferson the entire game lol) But I actually just barely started playing these games in like the past couple weeks and the reason I didn’t know BTS existed is simply because it didn’t show up separately on the Xbox store when I searched LiS,which i definitely would’ve played it first if I knew. There is a channel named DomTheBomb who covers that info along with other youtubers. Careful though, I believe there is spoilers on the other games in their videos so I would complete all the LIS games just to be safe. I spoiled myself on something from the True Colors game like an idiot being nosy on youtube.

I can't explain why this song is so important to me, why it evokes so much emotion in me and why it's so nostalgic, just like Life Is Strange. It just makes me realize that life is a story that unfolds depending on the decisions you make. People will die, you will suffer. We can't stop it, we just have to accept it. I am very afraid of loss. My mother had suicidal thoughts. This game and its soundtrack help me overcome my fears and trauma, come to terms with death and enjoy life. I hope I never make decisions that I will regret so much. Small mistakes can turn our lives 180 degrees.

I listen to this song whenever my anxiety gets heavy, when I can't control my obsessive thoughts. I'm unable to relax. I cry every time I listen to this song, when it's about to end my tears starts to fall down, like a blossoming. @nosfe9124 Heres the thing, this song did the same for me. This game is insane if you chose bay over bae.. You get to live an extremely traumatic experience and are not able to share it without ending up in the psychward.. or you trauma bond with the blue haired beauty that you literally killed for, and then travel the country and heal with her. I always go for the Bae. Hoping double exposure is good.
Foals have been my favourite band for years and I noticed this song getting a lot of attention as it’s used for the ending of life is strange. I finally got round to playing it and finished it today. I honestly thought no scene could do this song justice but that ending perfectly encapsulates everything this song is meant to represent. I'm not even kidding when I say I get goosebumps everytime I listen to this song. I have a personal attachment to this song because of the game life is strange. I completed the game on 17th may of 2021, earlier in the same day my dog had passed away so when I chose to let go of Chloe it hit my extra hard for some reason, I guess I related too much. I was only 8 years old when he came into our lives and I was 18 when he passed away. More than half of my life he was my best friend.

As a Male that is 35 years old I never expected much from life is strange but I was shocked how deep the whole plot and narrative became, this song is paramount to the series and it always is effective, I don't know if there is another medium that I felt for more than Chloe Price, it's that good. What a powerful song.

After reading some comments, I’ve come to realize this song isn’t just a sad song for me. This song is one I listen to when I need to accept life moves on and nothing ever stays the same.
I’ve moved states because of covid, jobs, schooling and other complications. Each time, I’ve had to face life head on and embrace my feelings. This song reminds me of those moments when you’re thinking of all the people and change coming your way. Maybe when you’re sitting in the airport, as you begin your next journey - or when your close ones have all moved away.

I remember listening to this song during an extremely dark time, I felt so numb inside that I had to hurt myself and see the pain physically in order to still feel alive. As long as whatever I inflicted on myself was stronger than the suffering I felt inside, I knew I could survive. Interesting to see how different my outlook on life is while listening to the same song, just years later. The greatest friendship I have ever seen. Finished BTS and LIS last week and I have been beaten over the head with emotions, still reeling trying to process the meaning, morality.
I was lucky enough to play BTS before playing LIS even though I was aware LIS is where most of us started. I ignored this game for years because I was not in the head space to play and when I did mess around with it, I only journeyed a few mins into it, completely unaware what this story held and completely getting the wrong impression what I was in for after deciding to fully play.
I decided to play in chronological order instead of release and that was a combo of pain back to back.
The last set of games to grab a hold of my conscious this profoundly was Mass Effect 1-3 but LIS is in a whole other category because it's realistically relatable.
We all know it's a game but after being immersed in a world where the characters feel like family, growing attached to their personalities is equally enjoyable as losing one.
This song is a flurry of emotion bringing back that final scene we all know so well and dread wishing it could be changed one final time for the better and giving a girl some peace instead of sorrow.

Very glad you can relate. I really wish there was some kind of advisory for first time players to play in Chronological order.
Many people on Reddit for some reason advise against this but I think it is a must or at least a recommendation before playing.
It doesn't take away or spoil anything and I personally find it adds more suspense. Deepens that mystery when going into Lis Original.
I also played Captain Spirit before LIS2.
Now if you like going into games blind and not knowing anything like myself, that might give away some slight things but it actually spoils nothing. If anything, it added more questions when loading into LIS2.
The DLC for LIS TC will spoil that game for you a little bit story wise so I definitely suggest playing TC all the way through first.
Wish I could play them all for the first time again.
Looking forward to the next LIS game. Hopefully it drops soon!
@@xBloodXGusherx Yeah I would have to agree that it is better to play In order,at least for LiS and BTS because while I really enjoyed playing BTS,at the end I knew how things would inevitably end,but it was pretty cool seeing how characters like Victoria and Nathan were before LiS. Of course playing as Chloe was great too(Also good I didn’t have to see Jefferson the entire game lol)
But I actually just barely started playing these games in like the past couple weeks and the reason I didn’t know BTS existed is simply because it didn’t show up separately on the Xbox store when I searched LiS,which i definitely would’ve played it first if I knew.

Yes. Nothing official though. All of it is rumors from a supposed play tester who leaked info to another person.
There is a channel named DomTheBomb who covers that info along with other youtubers.
Careful though, I believe there is spoilers on the other games in their videos so I would complete all the LIS games just to be safe.

I can't explain why this song is so important to me, why it evokes so much emotion in me and why it's so nostalgic, just like Life Is Strange. It just makes me realize that life is a story that unfolds depending on the decisions you make. People will die, you will suffer. We can't stop it, we just have to accept it. I am very afraid of loss. My mother had suicidal thoughts. This game and its soundtrack help me overcome my fears and trauma, come to terms with death and enjoy life. I hope I never make decisions that I will regret so much. Small mistakes can turn our lives 180 degrees.

I listen to this song whenever my anxiety gets heavy, when I can't control my obsessive thoughts. I'm unable to relax. I cry every time I listen to this song, when it's about to end my tears starts to fall down, like a blossoming.
I don't know if this is good or bad, but it slows down the anxiety tornado inside my head.
It really does help with anxiety such a calming song

personally it fills me up with mere sadness since i can't listen to it without thinking of life is strange. of the ending i chose. the one that people would call a "happy ending" even though it feels like it's not, for many reasons that i am too lazy to type out. i came to think sacrificing arcadia bay is the better ending. but still, life is strange fucked me up pretty badly

Heres the thing, this song did the same for me.
This game is insane if you chose bay over bae..
You get to live an extremely traumatic experience and are not able to share it without ending up in the psychward.. or you trauma bond with the blue haired beauty that you literally killed for, and then travel the country and heal with her. I always go for the Bae. Hoping double exposure is good.

Foals have been my favourite band for years and I noticed this song getting a lot of attention as it’s used for the ending of life is strange. I finally got round to playing it and finished it today. I honestly thought no scene could do this song justice but that ending perfectly encapsulates everything this song is meant to represent. A masterpiece of an ending and this song is the cherry on top. Foals Forever

I'll always choose Bae over Bay. But the Bay ending leaves me crying my eyes out, the Bae ending just leaves me disappointed because it wasn't done as well, except for the smile they share at the end which is hope and I smile with them.

I'm not even kidding when I say I get goosebumps everytime I listen to this song. I have a personal attachment to this song because of the game life is strange. I completed the game on 17th may of 2021, earlier in the same day my dog had passed away so when I chose to let go of Chloe it hit my extra hard for some reason, I guess I related too much. I was only 8 years old when he came into our lives and I was 18 when he passed away. More than half of my life he was my best friend.

RIP to your dog. I travel around with foals. Last show in the UK in Suffolk at the latitude festival. Then they head off to Japan then the USA. Wish I was going there. My trip ends in the UK with them!!
