The morse control will improve just by regular oiling the cable. The coolant reservoir is cooled by canal water passing through the heat exchanger. ❤
That's a good shout. I thought it might be raw water cooled. I wasn't sure seeing that header tank. Thanks buddy. 👍

Nice video but, I'd think about getting rid of that guy you hang around with that keeps putting you down on your boat painting skills, vlog skills, reading skills.... I'm not sure he's looking out for your best interests. 😜😄 Thanks for taking us along on another one!

Hi mate ,love your videos ! Where is that place at 5:57 that you paint the boat ? Looking for a place to park the car next to the canal and offload a few things to the boat ? Anywhere near Cheshire is fine really ,but Lymm is nice !
You can park your car just past the main road bridge that goes through the town. Just past the bridge is a grassy area. Moor there and park there. It's like a dirt track outside the flats. Good luck. 🫵👍

We ran air cooled Perkins diesels underground at the Homestake mine in South Dakota
I think JCB use them as well. Good engines..
Moored in Lymm a couple of times, it's a really nice place. Just played the van spare wheel game myself, same place, wanted to check it hadn't gone flat.
I got a drill bit in my tyre. I got it repaired. 👍

I noticed that you have shown a boat that had caught fire..?? Unfortunately will this is a daily occurrence on the canals..
I noticed that you are hard at it repairing other people's boats.. unfortunately . will . people have a tendency to neglect the maintenance of Thier boats.. especially when it comes to the engine. You were right about the engine being water cooled the header tank needs to be full of water upon starting the engine..it helps to start the pumping system .
But I am sure that you are aware of this.. anyway mate keep safe and well.. filthy thumbs up 👍👍👍 ..
No Wayne. I didn't know that tank needed to be filled. The other engine tank was empty. I presume its in the sump. That does make sense. I'm glad I could help him. In later vlogs I help him move it. He's painted it now and getting the electrics sorted. A boat saved I feel. 🙌 👍👍

Im gutted because right now i should be painting my boat but cant get to it because my power stearing fluid has leaked out and my stearing is bad. 😢

I think it's a sea good boat or big river cruiser. 2 engines gives more power.
The nut on my van was a special tool to get the nuts off.

you are in my neck of the woods here, Fished many a time on the Canal in Lymm, plenty of Large Carp in the Bridgewater all the way up to Manchester United's ground, grew up playing as a kid on the Canal around Trafford Park, now they built the Trafford Centre on part of it
Wow! I saw some swirls, but I thought it was pike. Canals are full of cracking fish. My lad caught a 9lb chub plus a 7 and 5 in the same spot. We couldn't believe it. 🤣🤣
@@NarrowboatWill Massive Pike up near Kelloggs Factory in Trafford Park and Huge Carp. used to be a Huge Match Fishing Canal with plenty of World Chapions taking part every weekend with 200 pegs

@andyince Fantastic help. Thank you. Is other starter does work now I've lubed it and it only needs a return spring. Thank you Andy. There isn't much info out there around the 70s Baracuda boats.

@andyince Wow! What an amazing offer. Thank you, buddy. The boat's starting and running now. The other starter spins, but it needs a return spring. I will let the chap know if he wants the other engine sorted, then he's going to need that starter. I'm off up on the Lancaster and the chap with the boat is off doing his own thing, so I won't see him for months.

My daughter said go into a walk in center but I feel OK now since Leon had the same problem. We've cut bread out from our diet and we both feel better for it. We still have a sub here and there but nothing daily. 👍
