I was in Donegal today and saw a dog exactly like Bonnie, asked if I could stroke her, talking to the owner of the wee dog I said she reminded me of Bonnie, and the dog owners were viewers of your channel too!

Another great vLog. I love it when towpath walkers offer to help out (especially when a boater is, for whatever reason, less mobile than average). It can be useful to keep a bag of peas in the freezer, just for when an injury requires a bit of cooling. I don't know if you know this trick, but if you want to see how fresh eggs are put them in a bowl of cold water. If they sink to the bottom and lie on their side they are very fresh. If they sink to the bottom but stand on their end they are reasonably fresh. If they float they have gone 'off'. If you get into the Reading area I will have to introduce you to a shopping chain that I look after (my employers look after quite a few shops IT systems), as they have a small choice of alcoholic beverages at (usually) below RRP. I had to walk across the cemetery near me recently, quite late at night. All seemed normal until I heard a weird, ethereal tapping noise. It didn't sound threatening, so I went to investigate. I found an old guy, working on a gravestone with a small hammer and chisel. "Phew", I said, "I thought that noise might have been a ghost. If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing?". "Well", he said, "I got lucky today. Somebody left this hammer and chisel nearby, and I can finally correct the spelling mistakes on my gravestone!". Take care, stay safe, and happy cruising.

Did you apologize to the car driver when you had gone through and closed the swing bridge? Did he apologize to you for making you open the bridge? I think all boating wenches should have priority 😉
😂😂 I did because usually when boats go though the bridge is shut immediately, however I had to moor up then walk back and do it so an extra 10 mins there 😂😂

While with the pirate, Bonny learned to navigate the waves, in their search for treasure every ripple she did brave. These two were brought together by the perfect hand of fate so it’s no surprise to learn, that now Bonny is first mate. 🥰🥰

She is improving but a long way off from being able to let off the lead if ever in places where dogs are about …. Due to her lack of social skills she lunges and barks in the faces of big dogs, knocks them over and they turn on her … she is great when we take the time to meet a friends dog slowly but with strangers she is very rude 🤣🤣

There's nothing worse than winds that blow, and getting stuck in mud, and toll. A pirate once said, I've fell in a hole, but lucky for her not a broke to behold. So let the wind blow, what happens down deck, I dare not tell you, The toung, and the lip. It has lots to do with rum, filled to the top. And if you are interested, I'll make sure you pop.

Oh, what a pity I tried to write a ditty . But the words wouldn’t come, as I was full of rum. Led on by you , I had ,had one or two. Despite only wetting my lips my brain was befuddled, my words became muddled but I’d only had a sip or two it’s no good I just can’t keep up with you!!
