❤If you don't know evil, if you don't feel suffering, and have oppositions, HOW WILL YOU KNOW what is good, what is peace, and being victorious over sin and death??? HOW WILL YOU GROW in character??? Know ... that whatever God puts in your path, He knows exactly what He is doing. ☝🏽Trust in Him. And always have faith in Him as the Director of all things. Be patient, do good deeds, keep the sacraments of Christ, pay attention to others, and obeying as best as you can His health and moral laws FOR HIS GLORY until the day you die ... And remember God is Ever Merciful to all those who strive towards pleasing Him. There is a crown waiting for you. Amen🙏🏽
Its not that you die, its how you die, thats a fact. Theres a good way and bad way to die. Which the bad way can be long and drawn out. If one's in good with G-d, no greater experience can there be good.
Could you tell of traditional Orthodox rites? As I understand the deceased will be prepped, set out in the church where others take turns saying psalms during the night and such. Where if no one has any tears for a person, thats sad already. Which I have my faults, but we should be with others so that our absence matters.. Then if not, the person really needs more prayers said.
