I have always viewed the holy trinity like water. Water has three states: Solid (Ice), liquid (water), and gas (water vapor). They are all the same, but not - just in different states. Even creation speaks to his existence.

People like to use the water analogy but water cannot be a solid, liquid, and gas all at once, a much better way of looking at it would be to view God as fire. The father is the flame, Jesus is the light, and the Holy Spirit is the heat. They are one.
That analogy is also a heresy because it shows that Jesus and the Holy Spirit aren’t god and are just creations of him

It showed how God was eating and being taken cared of by abraham. How is that possible when God spiritual? All we need to know is that there is one true enemy that stands against us and that's the devil. He will do everything he can to pin us against each other. So let's not wrap ourselves in this debate of who is right and wrong, but rather rally along side one another to fight against our enemy and show that we are unified as one. God wants us to love one another and to uplift one another, we spend too much energy trying to prove each other wrong and such little energy fighting against the evil in this world. This topic reminds me of a conversation I had with a non-Christian friend.
He claimed that Jesus was not God because he prayed.
" If he was God he wouldn't pray to himself. "
I explained that was God the son ( physical body) communicating with God the Father ( intellectual mind).
He responded by saying that was nonsense and the Trinity is rubbish.
It was getting close to evening and I asked if he was hungry.
" Yes. "
" How do you know you're hungry?"
" I can feel it. "
" Isn't that you , your physical body, communicating a need to you, your intellectual mind?"
That's when he ended the conversation.

It's really hard to explain the Trinity in one brief comment.
My goal was to show an example of the mind and body connection.
Some people say the Trinity is like the three states of water: solid, liquid, gas.
And I've heard an egg used as an example. The shell, whites, and yolks are all separate parts of the same egg.
But my favorite example is a human being. Made in the image of God. God is Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Humans are body, soul, and spirit.
Psychology states that we have the Id , Ego, and Super Ego. Each of these are related to the aspects of the human trinity.
The I'd is the pleasure response to stimuli. This is experienced by the physical body.
The Ego is what is seen by others, what you reveal about yourself. This is done by what we say, but also by our emotional reactions. This is the spirit part of our make up.
The Super Ego is the true, inner core of who we are. This is what makes each of us unique and special. This part is your Soul, your mind. I'm talking about your conscious mind, not the physical brain.
So , we can see:
Id/body/Jesus
Ego/emotion/Holy Spirit
Super Ego/mind/God the Father
The more we learn the more we can see God all around us. Even in something as common and mundane as getting hungry.

If that is the case, it means that Jesus is a messenger, not God, and that the practices that Jesus was commanding people to do, with God’s permission are the actions that the early Christians (who didn’t even call themselves Christians at the time) should have also followed. Jesus was close to God, prayed to God but never claimed to be God

The belief in God as a Holy Trinity is well established in many Christian denominations. I believe the Bible backs it up throughout the many books in it. God sent His Son, who originated from God's very Being, so He could be the Supreme Sacrifice for the sins of mankind.
Imagine how many sins that means!
Only God's Son could take those on after living a perfect life!
But, I do not think it matters that some people stumble with this explanation, UNLESS you devalue Jesus when you denounce the Trinity.
Jesus claimed to be God. C.S. Lewis wrote that when He did that, then there must be three explanations that have to be considered.
1. He was not God, and He was crazy to think and claim that He was.
2. He was lying, therefore he was really evil to claim it.
3. He was exactly who he said He was - God Incarnate in a man's body.
Many religions think He was only a prophet, and many think he was a good man. But you can't be a good man and claim to be God.
So choose which to believe.
I choose that Jesus was and IS the Son of God.
The Holy Spirit is the part of him that is an ethereal connection between Them. We probably have too few words to describe the Holy Spirit correctly or succinctly. I would not even attempt it.
The Trinity explains this so well. I have no problem with what others choose to believe. I fear for anyone that leaves Jesus out of their beliefs; for then, they are rejecting God Himself. But the Holy Spirit is probably who we have the most contact with - in our prayers, in our daily lives, and in our hearts.
I could be wrong about how I am trying to put this into words. But it makes perfect sense to me.

God literally says to the disciples this is my son. The Bible said it is so simple a child can understand. Adults like to overcomplicate things because we want to feel powerful in what we discover. Not true. Jesus is God's right hand. Quoted from the Bible. The hand does not make the body. The hand is not the head. Jesus brought justice. A balance of both law and faith. In the Bible I believe in Revelation. It also states that he has bronze feet. Bronze means justice as well. His feet walk in the feet of Justice because he walks the way of God. Also with Moses and the Israelites. Long story short They looked up at a bronze snake. They were with poisonous snakes, looking up at the bronze snake, they didn't get venom in their system. Jesus is the anti venom. He's the solution to the snake. The Israelites and Moses looked up to justice. The bronze represents Jesus. sow scriptures together and you will see. Not from your own understanding though. Go to God and he will show you, but through Jesus not through you alone.

The Holy Spirit is God on Earth now. At Jesus’ Baptism, Transfiguration, and The Cross we got a glimpse of how the Trinity acts as One. The Father Speaking at the first two events then turning His Face away at The Cross all while the Spirit descended, remained on and empowered our Lord Jesus to do Miracles and prophecy and then of course gave Him the strength needed to give Himself up for us all.

I agree I believe they are interwoven and meshed similar to a father and son is on earth. My son is not me but he is part of me and if he dedicates himself to my teachings we can be almost indistinguishable. So much so that if I was to fall ill my son could reign in my stead and say, “ if you have seen me you have seen my father for my I and my father are one! “
My religious studies teacher had a very good way of explaining this to us

Jesus used the same phrase “I AM” in seven declarations about Himself. In all seven, He combines I AM with tremendous metaphors which express His saving relationship toward the world. All appear in the book of John. They are I AM the Bread of Life (John 6:35, 41, 48, 51); I AM the Light of the World (John 8:12); I AM the Door of the Sheep (John 10:7, 9); I AM the Good Shepherd (John 10:11,14); I AM the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25); I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6); and I AM the True Vine (John 15:1, 5).

If you look in 2024 bible and old bible, they have a lot of difference, Jesus always acted like a Muslims and now you would be wondering Islam was here after Christianity but no, Islam was always here from day one but Prophet Muhammed PBUH got the Quran compiled through Allah. Jesus always prayed like Muslims. He always put his head down towards God like Muslims do. He never said to worship himself. Jesus always said to the women of that time to cover their body and head. If you look through old Christian women photos, The women always wear scarf over their head like muslims women still do. Jesus has said so many times to worship * One God* Bible and all the other books have been changed but Quran is the only holy book that has never been changed because everyone revise it on their tongue and nobody can dare to change Quran. From what I know of energy ("entities"), it has to split in 3 for every dimension it travels lower in density because a single energy/entity moving into a denser form cannot be sustained within a singular lower dimensional vessel. Positive, Negative and Constant (neutral); Good, Evil and (IDK); and Father, Son and Holy Spirit (whatever you wanna call it). All three are powerful and all MUST work together to achieve a purpose or balance.

Theology teach us that it is one being, three persons and there’s a hierarchy with the Father being first, then the Son, and finally the Holy Spirit. Three persons in one. Each have their own job but the Spirit answers to the Son, and the son to the Father. There’s a lot we wont know or understand here until Jesus comes back and give his followers a glorified body.
The best explanation i got about the trinity that really helped me understand the concept is from a yt shorts wherein a guy explains that like every one of us has our soul, spirit,and physical body ,but still is a one being, so is God with Jesus and Holy spirit. My spirit is still me, my soul is still me , and so is my physical body, its all still me. So is the concept of Trinity..the Holy spirit, Jesus ,and God are one..Amen

@@kristenb5177 but God had already given him authority over death. He said no one could take his life, instead he gave it freely. He also resurrected at least one person possibly two or three depending on the interpretation of the text but definitely one. He was given this power. He said so himself. Matter of fact he went further than that and said that he does nothing himself but only what the Father commanded. As well as these are not my works but those of the Father. As well as I have not come to do my will but the will of the one who sent me. So knowing he was given this authority by God, that means yes he was given the power to defeat death by God.
Not once did he say I have this authority and it is mine alone. He ALWAYS said it was given to him by another. That other being his father and your father, his God and your God.
The Trinity is all as one. They are individual entities but they are also in one being. It's hard for us to get our heads around, because we only are spiritual and physical beings. Thank you for your clarity.

The father the son the spirit........they are different in spirit see old testimony they dont know jesus like abraham elisha never use jesus name to heal or give but still they heal and give but father send son to change the law because people started worshiping idol and many prophet that's why father give full authority to son. Jesus said no one comes to my father except through me so we shall worship Father God in the name of Jesus to let the holy spirit be upon us and we may be in heaven..father son and holy spirit are the most important in our life.amen
