Looks very good ! But why not use a power station instead of all those components you use now ? I payd 900 € for a 2048 W with a 2400 W inverter on it.... with a 25 A 12 V for all 12 V you need
Thats a good point and option but i got the battery's for free and only paid about £200 for the wires and solar panel. i like to not have to worry about charging any battery's ever.
Those power stations are not cost effective if you have the basic skills to build your own system. A custom build is more flexible and you don't need to throw the whole thing out if there's a fault one day.
Hello Noticed you removed your glove box to get to large engine bay grommet …. Have you got any tips as I can only see two screws inside box ??? Will I need to take this out to get. Access to leisure battery cable or would I be able to run cable behind without box removal.
Looks like a great conversion, I am currently converting one myself. How did you secure the ply floor or did you just fit it in place? Also what thickness ply did you use? Cheers.
Man it'd test those batteries and pulse off some sulphur. 12.1v is empty and at the stage where it's potentially damaged. Hopefully you can replace that nasty cheap chinese controller with something mid range one day like victron. Also i hope youve cut a hole in the floor next to your gas bottle to allow heavy gases tomdrop out in case of leaks. Regs these days even require the bottle to be in an external sealed cupboard. Stay safe.

Do you idle and keep the AC on at night to keep cool? I'm curious because I'm thinking about the same thing but worried that I'll idle too much and it will be bad for the van.
Good man, looks neat
Thanks you
Brother link the rear seat.. and slide door 👍👍...❤ it

Well done, you did an awesome job
Thats come out really slick! I still cant get round the problem of sleeping in it without the alarms going off!!
I never had a problem with the alarm going off. I suppose you could just unplug the sensor in the interior light
This looks great. I've got the electric version of this van and looking for inspiration.
Thank you
Awesome job….
Nice work! Is the rock n roll bed comfortable?
Thanks for the positive comments!

Ok so my memory is a little rusty but there is a screw in the cup holder and another two underneath the glove box itself.

I used 8mm ply and glued and screwed it down.

Lessons were learnt from this build.
I’m getting another van soon and will it be a different build this time.
What fluffy insulation did you use?

I don’t no. You can get ac units for campervans that fit to the roof and run them off leisure batteries
