This is brilliant. It's the perfect combination of practicality/functionality and aesthetics. The woodworking is absolutely beautiful. Just as I was thinking about how good looking and practical those leather drawer pulls are (I saw them on another of your videos also), you mentioned them. I love everything about this van conversion. You have done a phenomenal job.
Great job Josh. You do things so tidy, neat and clean! Amazing craftsmanship and van conversions. I hope to be able to get you to do one for me. I’m saving up for it. I used to live in Oshkosh. 👍😎
Love it and your own created business with the leather handles is kind of jaw dropping when you consider your explanation about bumping into them while in van. It's a no brainer!
Wow. Beautiful! As an elderly woman, I would not be much for crawling around in a van. However, during Covid, I was yearning for a van that I could use to eat in without going outside, either by using take out, or by cooking my own food. Being able to go from the driver/passenger seats, to the back without going outside would be an essential. I also live in Manitoba, so we get very cold winters, as well as some pretty cool springs and falls. Living in a van would not work, yet it would be wonderful in the case of an emergency. Well done job!
I agree, the leather straps are the best I have seen on ANY build. I love them. The tour was very nice showing all the possibilities with limited space. Thank you for sharing your work.
love the simple design of this-less is more and lets all the natural details like the leather and butcherblock stand out-calming and beautiful plus a few things i have not seen in other builds too.
I have the same water exit never had a problem until I was in Savannah Georgia. I was in the front seat minding my business and some guy walked over really close to van and almost looked under just to see where the water was coming from smh. It was only water but I guess he was super curious. If you choose this route make sure to use eco-friendly products that are biodegradable so if anybody harass you about your water leaking you will not get in trouble. It’s crazy though because you drive right down the street to the grocery store and see someone doing car washes with actual chemicals and nobody is phased about it. Safe travels y’all😉💓
Excellent work! I also appreciate the use of white, natural wood, and the color accents chosen. I also like the mention of the leather drawer pulls and reason for them. (Subscribed)
Do you know what I love most about this? The small touches with the panel that gives you more desk space, and the sink cover that does the same. I was struggling thinking of how to make a workstation work for me, while keeping it a liveable space, but I think those simple ideas work.
Very cool cute and awesome interiors. .The bright white color makes it look more spacious. .but sir where is the toilet. .which is more important and assiantial necessity of life. .but overall thank you so much for your van tour
You build the most functionally practical small vans I have ever seen. They are so pretty as well. When it comes time to build my van out I hope you are still doing this because your my van guy.
Omg! I laughed because I love this and I'm thinking of specific tweaks or applications for me. If you can accommodate then you are my builder! I was chuckling because you could get a glass of water from bed without getting up, lol. From the very first video to this one, (I'm cleaning and taking breaks to binge watch you) you already made one of my tweaks with the 7 gallon water tank, two of which I have and need in a 15th floor condo, in the event of an emergency, think no elevator or electric means no water, prep is key. I live in Honolulu. Also I love the rounded corners. Finally someone who reads my mind. 😅
Pretty nice! I love all the ways you were able to "hide" drawers and cubbies. I agree with the leather straps. It only takes one time to bump a shin or toe on regular drawer pulls before one wished they had the straps instead. Lol.
Absolutely Beautiful. Clean lines great colors too. Your professionalism and organization is “high quality” Leather is a nice touch. Questions about calculating weight for tires, wiring installation and measuring. Do you teach? Very motivational 😃
I have my NV200 now! I'm based in the UK and will mirror the layout, as well as putting the sink and tap close to the side door - my border collie will need her paws washed every so often before getting in. 😅 Wish me luck!
Brilliant! Gorgeous and understandable for someone like me with ZERO knowledge or experience who is muddling thru a trailer to camper conversion...esp that damn electrical mess!😵💫. Thanks so much and, yes..love the leather drawer pulls. I used thrift store belts.
This is gorgeous! That electrical setup is a thing of beauty. 😍 I have been hanging out in my Ford Taurus a LOT. Trying to see if I can do something smaller than a high roof van. What I've noticed is that I'm very comfortable JUST from the driver seat alone, and that it "forces" me to do more "outdoorsy" things to "stretch" my legs. 😁 Doing something similar like this beautiful van you built would be 2 steps up from my old Taurus, yet still make my introverted self get out in the world. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work!
Love this conversion. I noticed that the finishing on your cushions are pristine. The electrical placement makes it so easy for a novice that even I am thinking of a van conversion. Great work!
Sooo perfect, except...I'm assuming a Chamber Pot (?) since I did not see a toilet, though one would be easy to integrate. You gave me some great ideas!
Wonderful. In Japan, like you, I remodeled my car and live in it. There is a similar idea in the way of thinking and remodeling, and I feel a sense of closeness. Thank you for your continued support.
The cool thing about the Nissan NV200 barn doors is that they can swing all the way open- so you could have quite a bit of privacy with that gooseneck shower between the body of the van and back door.
Really well detailed and thought out. Excellent explanations and walk through. I'm always amazed at the number of people who opt for a kitchen space over a commode. Different preferences I suppose!
Beautiful! I live in an RV….leather handles in small spaces makes lots of sense. I think I would prefer bed cushions that go width wise ….less sinking into a seam along length of the body. Not certain how you could do that though 🤔
Another beautifully converted Van. Your workman ship looks so good and the designs are practical, tidy and so lovely to see. If only you were in the uk!!
Love it Josh.Nothing more than needed. These days it seems alot of people want to take their home goodies away with them.WHY.You are going on an adventure.Years ago i spent 4 months backpacking North America and would occasionally use a campsite. These behemoth motorhomes would pull in,set up camp and then you would not see the occupants at all.May as well stay at home.Amazing build quality and not your boring generic mass produced van interior made from lightweight ply.I myself worked for the now defunct Lunar caravans here in the uk and whilst the end product looked nice the build quality was shameful. They all seem to go by the motto, quantity not quality. Well done sir...
I agree, as a leather worker I would prefer leather pull handles. I would do some ge sign motifs on the leather though. Another alternative is hand hole pulls.
Beautifully finished, perfect balance of form and function down to the piping on the cushions ... and I have seen thousands of conversions. Lucky owner.
Wow, very impressive. The nicest little van build I've seen by far. You do such great work. Everything I'd so organized and clean. I absolutely love it!! Safe and happy travels to the very lucky owners.
Josh your van conversions in the past are superb and spot on and your design and style are your signature. This video was of particular interest as i am in process of 'doing' an nv200 as a small and easy campervan. Its a much much simpler build, however i will consider using you as inspiration as there are some cracking innovative features you have implemented. Regards Mike in County Durham UK
I've been thinking about a collapsible shower idea. Use a sturdy tall container for the base, a collapsible pole and, attach a small aluminum circular shower rod. Have a sturdy hook on your camper wall to hang a camp shower over into the shower. The hook would stay on the wall and the shower would collapse down into the container to be stored.
Wow you definitely have an eye for design. The added windows seems to change the entire look ( exterior ). Beautiful clean design and functional. Amazing job!
Any chance of a video? I've been thinking about one for a build and it's easy tog get taken in by these professional level builds, would be good to see a more realistic/simpler build! Thanks
Great job! Great detail! One not so minor detail: at the 1:12 mark you show a FEMALE connector for the shore power. It should have MALE pins. Power is coming in, not out. The way it shows in the video means that the extension power cable would have male conectors at the ends. With 120VAC at the end pins.
This van is amazingly well done and organized. Love the furniture the colors that brings lots of light and the cupboards are spacious. There is an ease about how everything has been set up for a small van like this
Hands down best small van conversion I've seen on RUclips!
Yikes! As someone who spent many years in the RV industry, (albeit a long time ago), I'm really impressed. This Nissan is all I'd need and more.
I have to say, it's probably the prettiest build I have ever seen.
This is brilliant. It's the perfect combination of practicality/functionality and aesthetics. The woodworking is absolutely beautiful. Just as I was thinking about how good looking and practical those leather drawer pulls are (I saw them on another of your videos also), you mentioned them. All your builds are superb, yet you still find a way to raise the bar with every new build. Not a wasted square inch, and everything looks amazing!
I love it! It is the neatest small van I've seen. I especially love the enclosed wire and easy access side panel
Agree with you there, I'd love to own that when I was younger.
The electrical panels job is stunning!
Amazing build! Really made the most of the small space, great storage, design, well thought out. Nice aesthetic. Just fantastic!
Awesome
Genius! This granny would love one of these for her camping juants. Bravo!
Clean build! I wish Nissan didn’t discontinue the NV200 this year. It’s great for conversions, good on gas, and easy size to drive and park anywhere.
i nearly bought an nv200 but i noticed that alot get rust above the windshield. so i got a T5
This is one of my favourite conversions I've seen to date.
Great job Josh. You do things so tidy, neat and clean! Amazing craftsmanship and van conversions. I hope to be able to get you to do one for me. I’m saving up for it. I used to live in Oshkosh. 👍😎

I don't leave comments often. And I watch a ton of videos. You do incredible work. I love the way your mind works on behalf of your client. Great job
Appreciate it!
This is one of the best
buildouts I've seen.
I hope your client

of your work.
Exceptional, dude.
Best one yet! Your use of space and finishing is top notch!!! Congrats an a beautiful build.
I appreciate it!

It is in the tight spots, in this case literally, that real design, craftsmanship and execution are shown and utilized to their fullest.
Excellent work! I also appreciate the use of white, natural wood, and the color accents chosen. I also like the mention of the leather drawer pulls and reason for them. (Subscribed)

Fantastic conversion. You have become a master of the van build for sure.
YOUR workmanship is totally professional now. Congratulations !!
You build the most functionally practical small vans I have ever seen. They are so pretty as well. When it comes time to build my van out I hope you are still doing this because your my van guy.
the bugnet, what a feature....never seen in other vans. How neat is the craft and the attention to detail, amazing van!!!
Wow... amazing what you did in a small size van. Your craftsmanship is awesome!!!! Thanks for sharing. Cheers from Quebec, Canada.
You are a MASTER! This is by far the best build I've ever seen. I've watched A LOT of build vids. Great planning and great quality!! GREAT WORK!!!
Wow, that is both aesthetically and engineeringly beautiful. Phenomenal design and workmanship.

You have a singular talent. If ever I decide to build out a van you are who I would choose. Love the desk design. Excellent use of limited space.
Thank you! Glad the desk is taking a liking!
One of the best small van builds i have ever watch. Everything is well thought out.
Absolutely Beautiful. Clean lines great colors too. Your professionalism and organization is “high quality” Leather is a nice touch. Questions about calculating weight for tires, wiring installation and measuring. Do you teach? Very motivational 😃
This is by far the best small van built and neatest too! You are a master of the craft.
I’m so glad you’re still at it! Your work is fastidious and beautiful.
Очень нравится ваша работа , аккуратно и все вместительно и чистая работа умничка , молодец , самый лучший вариант.
I wish you were in Maryland. I've been watching you for a year and a half and I finally bought a van. Your work is great!
Your builds never cease to amaze me! LOVE the desk design! Gorgeous work as always. Your editing skills are even better than before as well 😊
Thanks! Wasn’t sure how the feed back would be about the desk but I’m glad you liked it!
@@Josh_Oakes hi, where are you located? I'd like to get a bid for you to do my ford transit connect.
@@Josh_Oakes Hello Mr i wandering if u do come vancouver Canada I would for you to convert one for me
Thanks, Josh! You actually put down the links that you promise---unlike many other youtubers... Lots of links, you rock!
The best and most efficient build I’ve seen so fsr
I really like the kitchen setup with water at end for easy access and all the electrical is easy access. Great design.

Beautiful cosy, clean and clever campervan, one of my favourite so far on YT.
Great and simple idea from the Desktop 👏👏👏
Love this conversion. I noticed that the finishing on your cushions are pristine. The electrical placement makes it so easy for a novice that even I am thinking of a van conversion. Great work!
Appreciate it! Wish I could take credit for the cushion but I didn’t make them. However, they did turn out amazing!
Sooo perfect, except...I'm assuming a Chamber Pot (?) since I did not see a toilet, though one would be easy to integrate. You gave me some great ideas!
Wow a very clean build, no "too fancy" things, everything is so simple yet aesthetic.
Wonderful. In Japan, like you, I remodeled my car and live in it.

I’m a travel nursing assistant. This is exactly what i need not too large not too small.
The cool thing about the Nissan NV200 barn doors is that they can swing all the way open- so you could have quite a bit of privacy with that gooseneck shower between the body of the van and back door.
Very true!
Or you put a shower curtain across the back doors using magnets.
I’m using your build as an inspiration for my Peugeot Expert. I am especially intrigued by the setup of the bed.
Really well detailed and thought out. Excellent explanations and walk through. I'm always amazed at the number of people who opt for a kitchen space over a commode. Different preferences I suppose!
Very thoughtful and ingenious design! And with aesthetic touches to boot!
I think you just bested yourself with this van.Sharp and clean and so attractive
Best vans I've seen well done. Much experience me thinks. Newbies may not realise how much knowledge is in your builds.

When the bed is folded out, it goes right up against the refrigerator cabinet. I guess midnight snacks are out.😄
You'll just have to snack on your woman to fulfill that appetite,😅
Excellent build, looks amazing :)
Edit: The electronics part looks amazing!!
Thank you! Took a little while but glad it didn't go unnoticed!

Putting the electrical in the door was genius but also scares me but it's such a Good idea!
Awesome build out. Nicest I've seen anywhere. BRAVO 👏 job!
Putting the electronics in the for is genius!! Very pretty van! 😊🇨🇦
