I know as a single it can be lonely sometimes but i have done it with my panda and i do love it although its also confronting some times. But it make you a stronger person. At home im lonely to but its boring to. So i will go on adventures soon!

Great van tour. I have converted my Renault Kangoo into a single person campervan with a similiar layout except I use the sofa as my single bed. Many people are surprised that I can sleep and eat very comfortably in it. Particularly on campsites when two people arrive in their massive double axle motorhome, then put up a similiar size awning and then get out all the accessories that go in it ! You are so refreshingly contented with what you have and part of the beauty is when you go to sleep at night, just before you turn out the light you can look at your brilliant van knowing it is all because of you. Love watching you two together. Take care.
The van conversion was what introduced me to your channel as I was looking to see what could be done with this size of vehicle. It's as good as I've seen tbh. Now I enjoy your travels and how you interact with eachother as well. I like the fact that, unlike most of the other channels I've dipped into, you don't seem to be constantly talking about getting a bigger/newer/more expensive van.
To be completely honest it is the best camper van i've seen so far from all the videos i've checked. It is very well packed for its small size, very practical. And imma pedantic guy myself. And another thing i like is the love you guys share! Positive and sunny people. Thumbs up!
I love the way your bed folds down and rests on the supports, if I ever put a bed into my Doblo I would do the same but I currently have no plans to sleep in it. My seats are taken out and I have a cabinet which holds all my stuff for fundraising at fairs etc., making tea and a toilet!

Yea, the best mini van - mini camper i've ever seen. People told me: you should buy something like WV T4. For me only! And you show that mini van is enough even for two person. Wow! Respect!

I had a Doblo Hightop that my son-in-law converted to a basic camper: I loved it, but eventually I needed an automatic shift so had to sell it. I regret it to this day. However, I now have a Bongo that I've almost finished converting my self, ready for the adventure of a lifetime next year. Good luck with your travels.

Great,good luck I just wrote down everything I wanted in my van,and started to design what suits me. One of the things I wanted extra,what I never had before was a small fridge,just bought it
4 me......AC is more important than a heater. A TOILET is a must, as is a fridge.....4get the ice. A little hanging space behind the driver's seat, 4a few pretty dresses 👗 that I don't want 2 roll (I might want 2 go 2a nice restaurant), and I'm good to GO. I'm always fascinated 2c how much can be fitted into these little campers. Your is very CHARMING. 😊 Love your fruit bowl sink.

The important thing is that it is the best FOR YOU, I would have done a lot of things different since I am a solo camper and also not cooking much, but the base ideas are great.
PS: for the warm shower in sunny days you can just put some water tank on the top and connect a hose when needed... you can't imagine how hot it can become the water with a bit of sun on it! (if needed you can use a dark tank, but I think any thank would suffice)
I had a doblo Manu years ago ! (2002 - 2012) ans i love This car. But I’ve never imagined somebody transforming it in camper van !!!!!!!! Amazing !!!!! Very good job with many good ideas and a very kind spirit !!!!!!!! Have a good trip !!!!! Thanks a lot for this video !!!!!!

Fabulous video. Love your van. Well done. Really like your window shades. In the US, we have a sun shower. It’s a 5 gallon black plastic pouch with a shower head. You place the bag in the sun (roof) to warm up and it gives you warm water for your shower. Just bought a car fridge that runs on 12v or can be charged by the generator or 110v electricity. Indeed swiveling passenger seat opens new opportunities. We have a Skoda Roomster which is "similar" but also no standard swivel seat (turning base) available, will have to tinker one too, so nice to be alle sitting reverse...very ingenious solitions you have installed!
Here in Slovenia, your car would have to be classified as camper van or you'd never get it MOT'ed. Also, swivel chair are no go unless already installed in car from factory... Love your conversion may borrow few tips from it. Cheers 😀
I already have a Transit Custom camper van with a pop-top which is great, but I'm being drawn to getting a micro camper as well for when I'm out solo or wanting to stealth camp. I've been looking at the VW Caddy but your Doblo looks great. I really love the colour and everything you've done to it. Well you've just given me about 100 new ideas for my conversion..im.starting from scratch and wasn't sure how I wanted to design it but now I've got more things to consider than I had anticipated id need I can now change my design from stage one instead of having to re do it at a later stage..thank you for taking the time to make this amazing video..i doubt I'll find a better conversion video

Thank you, for this new room tour. I have 2 x 100 Watt Solar, but I have also a fridge box (35 Litres) . But to swing the panels gives a lot more output. I have a two flame cooker and a one flame cooker for using outside, and for backup. The one flame looks the same, as almost all using, with the gas cartridges . (227 grams) BUT mine has also a vent for to run it, with a gas bottle, etc.
Awesome walkthrough. Am looking at a micro camper to tour uk and Europe. The ones in Australia have external awnings and more options for living outside the van . Avoiding getting cooking smells in everything. A 12v fridge on a slide out rail is also useful for cold drinks and keeping milk and meat cold .
Yeh, I would say that is the best microcamper I have see and you two are a delightful couple and seem very happy together....and that's the main thing. We bought a Doblo in 2014 when became tired of the British weather, living on a boat on the Broads. We only had a blow up mattress and boxes, but toured Europe through 15 countries. That lead to us buying something bigger in 2015 to go house hunting in Portugal and bought a 08 Vivaro, which after a very simple conversion still have. We now have our place in the sun in central Portugal and travel throughout Europe, Recently.. Italy Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria. But you guys are younger and well set in your home, if you plan on coming to Portugal let me know, we would love to see you both, show you some good free park up. When your kids are small,there isn't much a problem,I took my daughter with my little van,now she's growing up and still want to go on trips. She asked if our next road trip would be Italy,she likes art But I'm thinking to put a roof tent on the car,to get some extra space,I bought trough the years also a ,bus tent,they are great but good if you stay at a camping spot for at least a day. At the moment,I'm rebuilding my van to get it a little more luxurious then before.
